Casual atmosphere and really good food!!! The specials we tried were the linguica and brussel sprout soup (to die for!!) And shrimp and grits!!!

I love Lillian’s Cafe for it's friendly atmosphere. We've tried many dishes on their menu and can honestly say it never disappoints. Go there and enjoy, you will love it!

Amazing! Food was top notch. Loved my fish and the cauliflower mash was delicious as well. And I'm not usually a fan of the
veggie. Will be going back, SOON! Such a gem.

The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely and the service is excellent! I was not impressed by my entree unfortunately. I had the ribeye and overall it was tasty. However, it was not the quality that I hoped it would be. My partner had the pork belly reuben and it was excellent! I thoroughly enjoy the appetizers and the patio! The menu is an eclectic collection and there is a nice variety. I will be returning to try some more items on the menu.

The Louisiana shrimp was the best shrimp I've had in long time.

The waitstaff was very accommodating and didn't blacken my scallop tacos! They also have an extensive specials menu. The White Russian turkey sandwich was also a favorite. There is a nice patio out front to be enjoyed in nice weather. A very enjoyable lunchtime experience!

Nice little place to stop for a lunch on our way back to home. Had their granny apple and blue cheese salad. My husband had their homemade falafel. Both were delicious though I found it a little pricey for lunch. It was very quiet for a Monday lunch time but that was even better for us.

Have been to Lillian's Cafe twice. The baked oysters are way over the top, they are worth the trip alone, great calamari and sweet perfect steamers. Service is professional and cordial, the Cafe is a relaxing spotless joy. Can not wait to go back.

Fantastic spot. Very professional and polite staff and the food is top notch. Chicken Focaccia Sandwich is outstanding and a massive portion, excellent Pad Thai, and the wings can't be beat. Plus the specials menu is huge and constantly rotating with what is available fresh in the season.

Very good place to eat. Service was very fast and table visits were spaced out adequately. Everything was cooked great and they have a nice selection of cocktails and brews. Overall fantastic.

Found them through "Find me Gluten Free" app since I have Hashi's Disease. Comfort food that's crazy good. Hands down the best Gluten Free fried chicken wings, salmon tacos, onion rings, &french fries. Hubby enjoyed his burger. Definitely visiting again when in CT.

Loved the atmosphere here. Very cozy with a well thought out food and drink selection. Service was great. We both said it was the best falafel we’d had.

My fiancé and I took a weekend getaway to Niantic, and were recommended to go eat here, and it did not disappoint. We had dinner at a candle lit table, and we got the roasted chicken and pork chop, both were very good. The staff was extremely friendly as well! Highly recommend trying this place.

Best food in the area! Very high, home-made quality using fresh and local ingredients. Daily specials for lunch and dinner. Friendly staff. Seating options include a conversational bar area (walk around bar that focuses on the people, not the back of the bar or a TV), dining room, and an outdoor patio in warm weather.

The drinks were exceptional, the app's were fun and delicious, the dinner was great finish with a dessert and port wine. We had a great time, great company and evening worth writing about. Thank you!

My husband Bob surprised me with dinner at Lillian's last evening. We sat outside on the cozy and comfortable patio. Our servers were professional and courteous, checking on our needs several times. We had the Steak Frites and Salmon Taco and were very pleased with the presentation, taste and portions. We highly recommend this new addition to Niantic for your next meal out. Enjoy!

Literally one of the top five best restaurant dinners I have ever had ! Great atmosphere and service too !

Lillian’s Cafe has such a laid-back, warm atmosphere. Chef Steve Turner’s menu choices are always well thought out and surprising. Tonight we had Vegetable Pad Thai and Yellowfin Tuna over jasmine rice, topped with seaweed salad, wasabi and black sesame seeds. Wednesday nights are a great time to dine in if you don’t like crowds it when the washer is nice, sitting outside on the patio is a good option. Lillian’s Cafe offers good food, cooked well with no nonsense in it.

Central location. Food items fairly unique and we had sandwiches that were exceptionally good and flavorful. Prices were moderate and our server was really great. Highly recommended.

Shrimp cocktail is to die for! All 3 of our meals were delicious. Service was great and fun atmosphere. A must visit if your in town!
