Hyatt Place Uncasville / Casino Area

Great price. The hotel is very nice and very clean. More of a suite type room which is very nice for the price. Beds are comfortable and plenty of room in the rooms. Only complaint is the air conditioning unit was so loud not sure if it was a bad unit or if they are just that loud in general. But overall I would stay again just wish it was so hot in the room or wish the AC unit wasn’t so loud. Friendly staff at check in and checkout. Forgot a few travel items and they were very accommodating at getting us them at no charge.

Best continental breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. They actually cool real food, as opposed to heating up frozen stuff. They are also dog friendly, and didn't give us any credit for our dogs being WELL OVER the weight limit. All the staff is very friendly

I can not say enough good about this hotel. As someone who stays 50 nights a year. This hotel checks all the boxes.

The above and beyond part are the staff. Everyone was exceptionally polite and accommodating.

The room was spacious and clean. Bed were comfortable, nice and firm (I realize that's a personal preference).

Breakfast was delicious and filling.

It seems to be a nice quiet place as opposed to being at the casino. I wasn't there for the casino but it looks like they had a shuttle as well.

I accidentally booked the wrong night and they changed the date for me and were very kind on the phone. Hotel is super close to the casino. Morning breakfast was decent! Room was clean and spacious for 4 people in a 2 bedroom queen with pullout couch.

Quick and easy check in. Friendly staff. Super close to Mohegan Sun. Quick shuttle that was clean. Room was spacious and clean. Great breakfast spread. Would absolutely stay here again.

Why pay Mohegan Sun rates for a room? This place is 5 minutes away and on this particular night half the price. Rooms were nice and clean. Great pillows

I wish Google offered more than 5 stars because I must say that Hyatt Place Uncasville is extraordinary & deserves 5+ stars. From the beginning to the very end they were on point. I had a bus load of 47 people (including my bus driver) visiting the area this past weekend (10/6/23 - 10/8/23), and everyone & I mean everyone was very impressed. We were greeted when we arrived by the staff. They were very professional & attentive. The housekeeping staff was very friendly & accommodating.... whatever we needed they made sure we received it in a timely manner. I also would like to give a big shout out to Lorrie & Thomas in group sales. They were both very patient, professional, & accommodating as well. Hyatt Place Uncasville....Thanks for making my bus trip such a success!

Great place very clean staff super friendly breakfast was very good plenty of parking they have a shuttle that travels to Mohegan sun every half hour very convenient Hyatt is one of the best hotels

My boyfriend and I stayed here and the service was great as soon as you step in. The evening/night staff were welcoming. We enjoyed our room it was clean it was spacious. The breakfast was underwhelming and the morning staff were not as welcoming but I still give the hotel 5 stars. I would recommend and I would come again.

Room was great and the location was great. The guy at the service desk was a bit rushing and rude when asked a question but over all it was a good experience

This place is a hidden gem with many things to do. The rooms are nice and clean with lots of space.

This place is a gem! I have visited this hotel many times as I have family in that area. Close to the casino and other local attractions, free parking and friendly staff. The rooms are BIG and have corner couches with an ottoman that make me feel right at home. Big flatscreen TV that swivels towards couch or bed.

The beds are comfy- I prefer the king rooms- and the bathrooms are always clean. Never had a single cleanliness issue here!

Breakfast---oh, man!!! Lots of choices including yogurt bar, eggs, sausages, cereals, breads/toast, French toast and muffins...the list goes on. Very nice spread and the staff is constantly checking for refill needs.

Stay here! You won't be sorry.

I stayed at the Hyatt Place twice and both times were pleasant. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Service was quick, professional, and efficient. The pool was well kept and clean. Breakfast was always delicious and fulfilling. I enjoyed my stay both times and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Connecticut.

This is our third time staying here and the place has not missed a step, it's right up the block from the casino and you get 3x the room for 3x less the price.

Check-in:They had 3 staff members manning the desk when we got there, I think it took all of 2 minutes before we had our room keys, room was ready on time at 4, I will say this, they are pretty stringent about that 4pm check in time, be mindful of that when planning out your arrival time.

The hotel: Tucked away well off the highway, it's surrounded by trees and nature, the lot is large and clean, well lit with a sensible layout(you're never 20 steps from a door). The lobby is clean and modern with plenty of seating and nooks to relax in if you chose to eat in from the on site kitchen. There are 3 elevators that go to the guest rooms so you never have to wait long. Large indoor pool, workout room and conference rooms, all clean and modern.

The Room: Every room is oversized with both a sleeping area and a sitting area, this is the main reason I keep going back, I love to be able to relax on the couch and watch TV without having to sit on the end of the bed, it's a nice separation and makes the room feel so much more luxurious. Full size bathroom, fridge, dressers and a big screen tv. The room is modern and appointed nicely, and it was spotlessly clean. You can waive room service and they will just drop off fresh towels if you want.

The Staff: Everyone one we encountered as polite, professional and attentive, you can't ask for more then that.

The Location: central to EVERYTHING, all the attractions, outlets, casinos and mystic, plenty of local restaurants nearby and you have a CVS and Stop n' Stop right next door, Mohegan sun is right up the road and (Hyatt runs a free shuttle Thur- Sun every half hour all day.)

Criticism: There is no safe in the room(I hate not having a safe), ditch the super soft pillows, like sleeping on a marshmallow.

Something to take note of: They offer free breakfast but we skipped it after the first day, the area fills up fast and the stuff goes quick, and people get a little nutty over anything with the word "free" in it. The hotel was at full capacity when we were there and lets just say, tempers were flaring among the guests when we were there. My advice, get down there before 8 or be prepared to fight for the last banana.

Free parking, and free breakfast in the morning. The hotel is CLEAN and quiet, and so close to Mohegan for basically half the price. There was a free shuttle to take us to the casino until 1 am, and was only a short 5 minute ride. The room I had was a 2 queen bed, higher floor room, and it was huge. a large living room space with a couch and desk for work space if needed. The bathroom was very clean, and I love that the sink is separate from the shower/toilet so we could all get ready without interrupting someone's shower. The beds were also very comfy. Pet friendly as well, which did not apply to me, but was very nice to see, as they even had dog biscuits at the counter. Definitely will stay here again.

Stayed there for a night on our way. It's a great hotel, neat and clean. Staff is very friendly and attentive to guests' needs.

Breakfast:
Breakfast was included, and one of the nicest with hot and cold options and stainless steel cultery. Scrambled eggs and french toasts. Plenty of helthy options like oats, yogurts, fresh fruits, oat milk.

Swimming pool and gym with great facilities.

Nice shampoo and conditioner provided in bathrooms. I forgot mine in the car and was lazy so I used it and it was nice.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and rooms were super spacious and comfortable. The bed was very soft with lots of fluffy pillows, and a very comfortable and large couch with a rotating tv. The vanity was separate from the rest of the bathroom which was nice, and a little bar area with a fridge.

The breakfast was very good. Typical scrambled eggs, but they mixed it up with slightly spicy breakfast potatoes, french toast, Canadian bacon, yogurt with fresh fruit and granola, toast and bagels, and of course muffins and coffee.

The shuttle was great to the casino, and the driver was super nice and fun. They say that it runs every half an hour but I found that it ran more frequently especially at the end of the night. They only run to 1am so the last hour might be frustrating because the van only has seating for 11 and there's a sizable line to get on, so keep that in mind.

I booked this trip for my birthday and they were so helpful in setting up a room block for me and my friends. We were at the end of the hallway so we didn't bother anyone and they had a couple of small bottles of prosecco and a birthday card waiting for me in the room. It was such a nice touch! I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Stayed here for a bachelorette party rooms size was great hotel location awesome front of house staff was truly amazing including Traci who helped with drink reccomendations but also provided phone number in case of emergency. Well exceeded expectations

Been here before but only just now writing a review of this place. Stayed here while seeing a concert at Mohegan Sun, which is about 5 minutes away. They do provide a shuttle to Mohegan Sun, but we have taken our car each and every time.

Stayed here on Thursday August 17th 2023 to stay the night after seeing The Jonas Brothers at Mohegan Sun, with my mom. Check in was easy, and the rooms were very clean. Our room was kind of chilly at night, and we also adjusted the temperature using the thermostat. otherwise, room was very comfy and clean. The next morning, on August 18th 2023, we ate breakfast there. breakfast was very small, as they only had some pastries (muffins, bagels, and toast), Cereal (Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Raisin Bran, and Cheerios), scrambled eggs, French toast, and potato. Also the coffee at the front desk was piping hot. had to wait a bit for it to cool. For breakfast, i settled with potato, french toast, and a chocolate chip muffin. Also had cinnamon toast crunch as well. it was good, although the potatoes were a bit salty. Anyways, overall enjoyed our breakfast. We checked out shortly afterwards and left for our ride home. Overall enjoyed our stay, and may stay again next time there is a concert at mohegan sun!
