Dimitri's Pizza Restaurant

Have not been here in 17yrs .We live closer now will make it a weekly stop. Lots of menu choices especially pizza. Never had Roasted squash mozzarella most cheese and garlic.. soo good

After a college tour of Uconn, we were desperate for a lunch spot. After a quick Google search we found Dimitri and we are so glad we did for our party of five. The food was delicious and the service was fast. Our server was very attentive and pleasant.
My party got sandwiches (BYO grilled chicken, philly cheesestake burger), margherita pizza, chicken tenders, and chicken parm. We appreciate the warm bread and butter! Everything was delicious. We were happy to support a local business and would come again if ever in the area.

Great Food Delicious fresh fried mozzarella patties. The Marinara Sauce was fantastic great flavor. The pizza was the Dimitri Special, with plenty of toppings was asked if we wanted thick or thin crust we went with the thick. Ice-cold beer was great. Like some of the other reviews the service was okay, they we're hustling pretty quick and felt a little rushed to get our order in quickly. But overall Great place great food!

We love it here!! Every Tuesday after school...food is consistently good..and service is great..the girls are all lovely!!

Fabulous restaurant.! Went for lunch had a Cesar salad with chicken. Fresh ingredients and the waitress was wonderful. Prices were good too!

This casual restaurant is amazing. There were 14 of us. We had made a reservation however, the servers hadn’t been aware. Upon my arrival they quickly put tables together in a somewhat private room they use for large parties. Before everyone arrived, tables were set with menus. A fabulous menu that had so many choices. Everyone raved about the food & service. Our server was Thea C. She was incredible.

Had a salad with grilled chicken and bacon and blue cheese dressing, and it was the best salad I ever had

Always my favorite pizza place to get my favorite pizza. Recently went to karaoke there and I hope they bring it back!

Food is delicious. Menu has lots of great options. The scallops New Orleans is outstanding!

I usually get the boneless chicken wings they are amazing. They are not heavily breaded but nicely crunchy. My husband usually gets either a chicken Cesar Salad or a small pizza either way the food are always really amazing!!!

Friendly, competent service. Great food and generous portions. Good variety of selections on menu. Ordered the Scallops New Orleans. Scallops were perfectly cooked and tasted great. I also had a salad so I could only finish half of my meal. Took remainder home and enjoyed for lunch next day.

I love this place. The staff is sweet and very welcoming. My boyfriend and I go once in awhile for lunch and a Bloody Mary for me. It's a relaxing environment and I really enjoy the updates they've made in the restaurant/bar. The BLT and gyro are both very good and the fries are excellent. :)

I'm re-writing my review from 12 years ago since things obviously change. Especially since Covid.

I recently returned this past weekend as we were looking for a restaurant to sit outside on a beautiful Sunday and the new 4DP was packed and there was no outdoor seating at Bidwell. I circled back to Dimitri's which I haven't been to in years. People have been complaining that the hours were very random and the place has routinely been closed during posted open-hours. But I digress...

There's a new bar! It looks bigger and better than the old spot but as I mentioned, we wanted to sit outside. Both waitresses were friendly. The food was surprisingly top notch. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and well presented. Take for example the clam strips: they cooked it literally perfectly, not a second under or over done.

I look forward to returning to re-try my pizza favorites from this place including my White pizza with chicken, spinach, and feta. When I want a Greek style pizza, this is the place I think of going.

Our favorite local place. We love the new bar and have gotten to know a few of the bartenders and they’re wonderful! And the food - well I have my favorites: Shrimp New Orleans is delish! Homemade lentil soup is the best I’ve ever had! Fish and Chips is made with haddock rather than cod and it’s SO good! Love the veggie grinders too! The butternut squash, caramelized onion and Gorgonzola pizza is fabulous. Need I go on?!!!

The Spinach salad with the warm Balsamic dressing is wonderful! Best salad . Add raw red onion also to it! Great salad. Great staff. Sat in bar. I like the renovations they made.
Honestly, OPEN THAT WINDOW TO A DOOR!! RIGHT OF BAR!.
The bartender shouldn't have to walk around to go outside that far. Some customers could easily get forgotten!

Large menu・Large portions・Great food
I had the fish and chips one night. It was the best I've ever had. Very Large portion, the breading was crispy with no hint of grease and the fish was perfectly cooked with no fish taste. The chips were crispy and had no noticeable grease. also came with a salad and bread. An excellent meal...
Next time we had the chicken Parm dinner with ziti and garlic bread. Yummy...
