Comfort Inn

Very pleased with my experience here! Got the king suite for me and my family which has 2 rooms (king bed, sofa bed, hot tub, stove, fridge/freezer, dining table, etc). I felt we really got our money's worth here! We requested for an extra bed and the staff had no problem adding one for us, didn't even have to pay extra! Breakfast was good for what it was and the pool was EXCELLENT! It was heated very nicely, hot tub was great too! Very close to Foxwoods which is the reason we found this place, will definitely return!

My partner and I booked our stay before our trip, having never been to this location in person, but took a leap of faith based on the photos, reviews and a few calls to the hotel to “double check” (because I hate surprises lol). Each time, whoever picked up was extremely helpful and pleasant. We came from Seattle to visit family nearby in late October. We flew in very early to Boston and didn’t get any sleep on the plane (it was a 6 hour red eye). The manager, Debbie and coworker, Tracey, were very accommodating for an early check in, to our delight. They very generously put us in the king suite last minute, which has the bedroom and bathroom separated by French doors from the living room and kitchenette area and was very close to the elevator by the pool, as we requested, since we love relaxing in the pool or hot tub when we travel. The pool was one of the warmest ones we’ve ever visited, and, although the pool area is older, they kept it very clean throughout our stay and it was very nice each morning and night with plenty of clean towels on hand whenever we popped down! The hotel itself is obviously an older hotel, too, but has fresh paint, finishes and fixtures, newer furniture, plenty of outlets and USB ports for all of the current day needs and good linens. Our bed and pillows were extra comfy and everything was nice and clean throughout. We really liked our room, which was quite and roomy but cozy and homey with nice views of the woods out back. The continental breakfast each morning had plenty of options and good coffee and waffles, too! We also loved that there is laundry available downstairs, which is a game changer when you stay for a longer visit.The hotel is conveniently located right next to a few main arteries on and off freeways for easy adventuring and there is a decent selection of shopping for nearby needs, like a packy, dollar store, groceries and restaurants, too. The staff are all fabulous and very accommodating, they even have a shuttle to Foxwoods on Friday and Saturday night and visiting with their driver, Melinda, felt like hanging out with your favorite aunt. Everyone there are really just a great “family” of people working together to make the guest experience wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back every time we visit from now on! Clean rooms and customer service was awesome. The free breakfast was good as well the server kept up on refilling items as they got low.

Wonderful Hotel!! I stayed for 2 days with 3 of my children and it was perfect. Staff was friendly, very professional and accommodating. Hotel was Very Clean, Pool and Hot Tub were Amazing and open till midnight!! Rooms are updated, very nice, comfortable bed, super soft sheets, and very spacious. Breakfast was great with plenty of options. Gym was clean and has everything you’d need. All in all this is a great hotel with very reasonable rates. I am so happy I came across it and we will Definitely be staying again soon! I highly recommend!!!

Located perfectly to where I needed to be, clean and updated rooms, with a nice "ski resort" feel in the lobby. Reasonable rates, the pool hours were MORE than accommodating, breakfast was great and the icing on the cake was the manager Deb (a true saint of a human)! It was a pleasure staying here.

The Comfort Inn is my family's go to hotel when we visit our brother in Griswold. The indoor pool and hot tub are really top notch. The pool is always warm and the hot tub is actually hot. Also the whole pool area is just really nice aesthetically and spacious with lots of seating options.

The rooms are always clean and I have no problems with the amenities. The service is always great too, I ended up needing my own room apart from my family (dad snores lol) and even at 2 am the staff was able to help me into a new room and a reasonable price.

This is, I think, listed as a two star hotel. For a two star hotel, it's 4.5 stars all day. I gave 5 stars because 4 would be too low. It's in a very quiet, somewhat remote-seeming location, but it's near connecting roads and really not far from Norwich, Mohegan or Foxwoods casinos, or RI beaches. The quiet location is appreciated for sleeping. Rooms are clean and spacious and there is a very nice pool. Not much right near the hotel but there's a Chinese restaurant, dollar store, and Ocean State Job Lot just a few hundred yards away. I think a Walmart Super Center is only about 10 minutes away. And you can certainly drive to other restaurants if you want to. We were at the beach that day. Once I spend 4 hours at the beach I have no desire to stay at a hotel there. We were sunburned and ready to find a restaurant and then relax in our room. This hotel was a short drive and fit the bill perfectly for that.

BEST experience ever. Super clean, super quiet and the rooms are very nice. Only about a 15 min ride to Foxwoods. They have a pool and laundry room also. The common area in lobby was super cozy and felt like someone's home instead of a hotel. I loved this place so much I honestly would rather stay here than Foxwoods.

What a great stay and experience that I had at this hotel. The staff were amazing and friendly. The pool and gym area were great, and it's in a quiet, safe location. Highly recommend!

Everyone working here is amazing. We had some issues with our key cards deactivating (weird circumstances, not the hotels fault) and they must have given us new ones like 4 times. Never any problem, always so nice about it. They refilled the waffle maker for me at 10:30 because my kids are slow and we're late for everything. Breakfast ended at 10, but they didn't pull stuff out from under us like other hotels have. They refilled the machine instead! I was honestly shocked at that, above and beyond really. Hotel is clean and accommodating. We stayed 3 nights and everything was really just 10\10. I would absolutely stay here again!

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Pool and hot tub were enjoyable. Our room was musty smelling, but clean.

We stopped here for the night with the kids on a family trip to Foxwoods. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms appeared very clean and are up to date. Although the high touch areas are cleaned thoroughly and often, there was about a weeks worth of dust accumulated on the hair dryer, and there were stains on the curtains. Used the pool the first night we arrived and it was crowded but we all still had fun. Good trip overall

Lisa (overnight shift) was professional, friendly, and accommodating! She went out of her way for us and I really appreciate it.
The rest of the staff was great too!
Service is lacking everywhere so when I get it , I am stunned.

Debbie is the best. Shes really helpful and friendly. Makes you feel right at home. The other dude that says he's part time but Is in there all the time is a good guy. Very small town vibes there. Has the hot tub and a heated pool. Good place to stay

So nice, great place to sleep, very clean and lovely staff, clean establishment, and the lady behind the counter was so extra kind, it was late and she was about to turn over to go home, but made sure she got me processed in, even though her husband was waiting on her. She took care of me, and helped me also up in the room!! Thank you comfort in!. Thank you desk worker. Thank you sir who was waiting on her. You helped me have a amazing experience!!

Debbie-I think the GM is amazing at making you feel like you've entered into your private vacation rental. Shawn and Danielle were over the moon gracious. Everything was delightful... the pool and hot tub were welcome therapy after a long day of travel ... breakfast was just a bit of something for everyone...coffee was great- HOT and well brewed... nothing fancy here just an immaculate well designed restful space... oh and remember the HOT tub.... 🥰 🤩 🤸‍♀

I come here because my granddaughter Liz love swimming in and I stay upstairs in the Dr oomph relaxing see TV I've everyone they are respectful and nice Mrs Debbie and other members of the hotel are very friendly. Today was not as good I slept with my big daughter and her daughter and her Dog may back was hurting 💔 any head to .but this is our place to come and relax and swim 🏊‍♂ .
