Bill and his team did an incredible job at our home 221 year old home with plaster walls. Not only did they do immaculate prep work on the plaster but the wallpaper itself is gorgeously seamless. We didn’t know how it would turn out with our uneven walls and definitely-not-close-to-straight lines where the walls and ceiling meet. And really it’s flawless. When Bill is on the job he is professional, knowledgeable, and dependable. We are excited for the next wallpaper project to happen at our home!

We've had Bill and his crew in to do projects prior to this one. 35yrs ago he put up some of the wallpaper we just had him take down. When they were done with that we had another contractor in to do wainscoting in the kitchen, hall and entry to the dining room. Bill and his team came back to finish and paint the project. Their attention to detail is awesome. The end result is beyond what we thought it would be. Bill and his team just finished a job at my home. I bought expensive paper and couldn’t afford any mistakes. Bill and his team did not disappoint. Bill communicated with me, arrived when he said he would arrive, did a beautiful job and best of all, my dog Lily loved them all! Oh, and the work was perfect! I could not be happier!!!

This is the second time we hired Bill & his crew to take down our popcorn ceilings . Our upstairs came out so beautiful we decided to do our basement bedroom & rec room area. These guys were amazing! Got rid of popcorn, repaired ceiling, & painted. Their work is impeccable - they work great together, friendly, knowledgeable, dependable - just great customer service. Communication was exceptional - they arrived early every morning & they would let us know when they were leaving for the day. I might add, Bill replaced our wallpaper & it turned out beautiful. He is a perfectionist & his work shows it. He's a great guy with a dependable crew. I would hire him again without hesitation.

By far the BEST painting we've ever had done!
Bill and his crew, Craig, Paul and William, are the most respectful and clean painters ever. They take all the time needed, and then some, to make sure everything is protected before anything else happens.
The their detailed prep begins. Each day, (I mean every day!!) they clean the entire working area so that we are minimally inconvenienced and don't come home to a mess. The the painting starts, and finishes in the blink of an eye. Superb quality finishes on our cabinets, walls and trim. Our kitchen looks NEW again.

The Windham Free Library applied for and received a grant for the restoration of its Dr. Hunt Office. The Dr. Hunt Office is a one room 18th century office located adjacent to the WFL. It is an architectural gem. It requires expert care.
We chose Bill Bender and his crew to do the work. He is local, highly regarded and meticulous in his approach to restoration. The WFL were happy with our decision. We were pleased with his professionalism, his attention to detail and his high quality of workmanship.

Bill did a great job on a difficult wallpaper installation. His skills were greatly appreciated he arrived on time and stayed working until the the job was completed to his high standards. I would highly recommend using his services.

I had these old and tired cast iron statues and contacted Bill for his mobile sandblasting. Not many people in connecticut even do this thing so was lucky to find him. He took these old cast iron lion statues and revived them. They were rusting, and falling apart. Took all of the rust out from inside and out and was able to restore them in beautiful condition. Great working with this guy. Sent me photo updates of the work progress and I got to pick my paint color. Would highly recommend.

Bill Bender and his crew went beyond expectations in my recent large master bedroom redo. From removing the popcorn ceiling, repairing wall damage to the painting of walls, doors and trim I couldn't be more impressed. Using email for scheduling, contracts and general questions made communicating with Bill so easy. The hard working team of Craig and Cody were always prompt, polite and friendly. If you are looking for professionalism and a beautiful finished project, I recommend Bill Bender without a doubt. The hardest part was picking out the paint color!

Using Bill Bender Painting & Wallcovering for the wall/ceiling repair and painting of our master bedroom was the best decision we could have made in giving our bedroom the quality overhaul it desperately needed. Bill and his entire crew (Crag, Cody, Mike & Jocelyn) were beyond professional and did a masterful job over the course of an entire week. Their work was exacting and pristine, they were all beyond friendly & courteous, and they made sure to leave the room thoroughly cleaned every evening. Bill and his team did a great job painting 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. They made suggestions that were useful and always followed through with paying attention to details. I would use them again.

I have used Bill Bender for several jobs at my property, including interior painting and wallpapering and exoteric painting. Every job also involved some minor repairs to wood trim, windows, and repairs and squaring of walls and ceilings. I can not recommend Bill and his team enough. His work is impeccable and his prices reasonable. I also trust him completely—I couldn’t be at the property for much of the work he did, so he and his team would open and lock the house and look out for anything else that might be going on there.
