Great Oak Pizza

Absolutely fabulous Greek style pizza. A meal in every slice, practically. Well, once I started eating it was had to hold myself or my friends back! Delicious- I will definitely be back again as soon as I can.

This place has been around since I was a kid but I had moved to Oregon for 20 years and finally came back to Connecticut. Returned tonight for the nostalgia and was not disappointed! The diner looked very much the same but in the best way possible. Pizza hasn't changed. We got the mousakka with onion, mushroom, and pineapple. (Yes it belongs on pizza). Very good. Greek pizza isn't everyone's cup of tea but I was raised on it. Delicious. Glad I'm back home.

Great little shop. Got the Italian grinder - was perfect! Good bread, meats, and ratio of bread to meat to toppings. Also got a small Italian sausage pie. Really good.

Best place to eat in the Norwich/montville area. Family owned and extremely friendly. Treats all guests like they have been friends for years. Food is always amazing. Highly recommend.

We stayed at an Air B&B locally a year ago and stopped by Red Oak for dinner. I got a meatball grinder and my husband got a pepperoni & cheese calzone. I LOVE a good meatball grinder but problem is the meatballs are usually frozen at pizza places and the taste reminds you of this. They're never very good. BUT, not the case at Red Oak. I'm sure the meatballs are probably frozen as well, but they are GOOD. They don't throw a couple huge meatballs on a grinder & flood it with sauce and call it a day... They're sliced, making it easy to eat and not drop everything out when u take a bite. The cheese is stringy and the sauce is good too. Hubby's calzone was heated with a nice golden color and ingredients where great as well. Portions are always more thank enough. I came back to the same Air B&B in May for Mothers day and so excited to get a meatball grinder after waiting all year & was so bummed they were closed on Sundays! But we just came back this week & was eager to make a stop at Great Oak Pizza! I'm sure we'll stop by here every time we travel to & near-by Norwich CT. Great place & always great service by the front counter workers!

Always a great experience. Small family owned Greek style restaurant . Don’t always get here as often as I like but food is always good and special orders don’t upset them. Had 2 grinders on this visit. Highly recommend

Been years since I have been here, food was really good, had the hamburger pizza. Server was very polite.

The food is delicious, you can't find a kinder, generous, or loving owner of any business I've ever been to.

I am consistently impressed with each new item on the menu I try. Today was an Impeccable Italian Sub, The meat cheese vegetable ratio is ON Point!! Everything is so Fresh. The veggies are crisp and the sub was perfectly evenly toasted. Absolutely Delicious Food, Fast & Friendly and Affordable with a Staff that Truly cares about their customers!!

Our first visit here. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Alecia was our waitress and did an awesome job.
The spinach artichoke poppers were something we've never had before and they didn't disappoint
Baked fish and seafood platter were great portions and very tasty.
We will definitely be back to try more of the menu items.

Best Greek pizza in SE CT. If you have never had moussaka pizza, this is the place to fall in love with it. Pepperoni used here is the stuff you remember from your childhood, fantastic!

This was our first time . I came here around 7:30 pm today . My loved one ordered a large pizza. We love the ambiance and you can tell that it is a nice family establishment. The cashier has a lot of manners . The pizza was pretty good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Please, People come and support them. They deserve it. Nothing like Good old fashion pizza.

Food service and atmosphere. Even as a Yankees fan going in, it was a friendly and fun place. I got the best calzone I've had in Connecticut here. We all will be back many times
