Cody and Dan of Codan Electric were very professional and easy to work with. They configured all the electrical for our kitchen remodel. They advised us as to the number and size of lights appropriate for our kitchen, and it came out great. The under cabinet lighting looks fantastic and is of high quality. Cody even worked with our contractor to configure custom under cabinet lighting with concealed wiring in our floating shelf. The under cabinet lighting is one of our favorite features and we use it all the time. Codan also upgraded our exterior electrical service, bringing it up to code to withstand the elements for years to come, and it looks neat and professional as well. We are very happy with the work Codan did for us and recommend them highly.

Had floodlights and several fixtures installed by this company yesterday Cody showed up on time and was very professional and got right to work. He did an excellent job. I would certainly recommend using these people.

Update called Codan again to upgrade our service to our house from 100 amp to 200 amp also had a generator interlock installed everything came out awesome.

I needed an electrician to come out the same day and they accommodated me despite their busy schedule for the day. When the owner came out, I got to talking with him and found that he and his sons are working on this business. That’s really sweet! Loved the fact that they’re honest and didn’t overcharge me. Would come back for more business for my small 1930s home!

Based on some reviews I read and word of mouth, I called Codan electric to get a generator hook up at my house. For starters, they actually returned my phone call in less than 2 hours, and showed up to give me a quote 2 days later. That's hard to come by these days, I had called a few electricians and they were all no shows, or no responses. The day of the job, Cody was running a bit late and had the courtesy to give me a call and let me know he was on his way. Again, that just doesn't happen nowadays. My current 30 breaker panel was chock full and had a few questionable breakers in it as well that were definitely not up to code. Codan replaced my panel with a new 40 breaker panel, and all new breakers, neatly labelled all the breakers and also added the generator hook up as well. It was a long day, but they worked NON-STOP, no stopping for lunch, no coffee breaks, no dinner break, just WORK. I've hired many contractors for jobs over the years and let me tell you, that's pretty rare. The end result was a beautifully installed breaker panel with the wiring that almost looked like artwork all neatly run, and not all spaghetti looking! When the job was complete they cleaned up the area nice and tidy, and gave me a run down on how the generator cutover switch works. He also kept some slots open for future proofing if I ever decide to do whole-house surge protection. It's nice knowing this is all in place and done right for when the next hurricane, or blizzard strikes and we lose power. I've got some future projects lined up for next spring and I will most DEFINITELY be calling Codan back.

Excellent service! I had recessed lighting installed throughout my home along with under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, new electrical panel and new outlets. Very professional and answered all questions I had! Will definitely use them again and would recommend for anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy electrician!

When it came down to decision time on choosing what company to use for the installation of my 200 amp service upgrade, generator interlock and HVAC disconnect, I decided to choose local. They matched the prices of local competitors. When it came to install time I knew I had gotten a deal. The work done by Cody was beautiful. Clean panel and wiring. When the grounding rod hit the rocks their true colors showed. Hours spent trying to do the job to perfection. Even calling in reinforcements when more equipment was needed. When all was said and done the work done was flawless and inspected in one day.

Codan is probably one the most honest hard workers I have ever dealt with. Not only are their prices fair, but their professionalism is second to none. No one compares.

We had a great experience with Codan Electric. Initially, when I sent an email Cody responded quickly to setup a time to repair a switch and replace smoke detectors. His dad came out for the job and completed the work with no issues. A day later when an unrelated issue came up, he was quick to communicate back and forth with me to try to help over the phone and ultimately came out and fixed a different problem. Both father and son were professional, responsive and knowledgeable throughout our experience. We will use Codan again in the future.

Cody is an incredible electrician! We bought a total rehab house that was built in the 70’s. After we gutted the whole thing, there were tons of old wires hanging everywhere. My boyfriend is a pretty handy guy, but he couldn’t even begin to untangle the mess. We needed new wiring, ALL new light fixtures, bathroom fans, and new outlets. Cody came in and was able to work his magic. He was able to construct new work while simultaneously tying into the old wires. Cody always gave us his personal recommendation but never pressured us into decisions. He was quick, responsive, extremely helpful and always cleaned up after himself! We had situation where half of our house suddenly lost power. Cody came right away to assess the situation and was quickly able to determine that it was a power company issue. At which point, he contacted the power company directly and they were there within the hour to fix the issue. If you are look for high quality work that will leave you feeling secure, call Cody!! We are SO happy with the work he has done for us and will always call him for any of our electrical needs.

Cody installed a transfer switch and outlet for my generator. I also had them make the cord. The cord is heavy duty and very well made. It’s a bit more than one from Amazon, which they suggest you can purchase, but it’s very high quality and I’d rather support a local craftsman. He was able to do the installation ahead of schedule and for the price quoted. I spoke with both Dan and Cody for the quote and work. Very professional and pleasant to work with. I would use them again and recommend them.

Working with Cody and Codan Electric is always fantastic. We have used them in the past and we wouldn't call anyone else.
