Awesome prices on black oil seeds and cracked corn. Both prices beat Agway's prices, and they have a deli counter in the back of the store that makes awesome grinders, and the prices on the sandwiches can't be beat.

I stopped by today for a grinder for the first time ever, the quality was excellent! Probably the best grinder I have ever had. They also had a wonderful selection of farm and pet supplies, I will be sure to stop back for food for my various animals, this is what a small local place is all about! I am looking forward to continuing to support this small business.

Absolutely the best shop for 100s miles around. The staff are tremendously knowledgeable, the products are top grade quality, prices are spot on, and the atmosphere is the most comfortable farm-like setting. Be welcome to ask the staff about the surrounding Mansfield Depot antiquity. The shop is near the operating train system, so please follow the road gate directive (actual working bars that come down and disallows vehicle passage while the train goes by). Telling you, this place is awesome!

Head into the back of the store, there's a small deli that will put together one of the biggest and tastiest sandwiches you've ever had. Been going for 35 years.

I've heard for years about how awesome the deli is. I've just never been in the area when I wanted a bite... until I was! I finally was driving by this place at lunch time and decided to stop in. I had no idea what to expect or order. I went with my typical italian combo that I would get anywhere else. Wow- it's night and day when someone freshly slices quality meat and cheeses- you can actually taste the individual meats and their quality. Great food, wonderful service, and reasonable prices- what more can you ask for?

Thompson & Sons is a perfect example why shopping local is the best. Friendly, helpful staff. Shop organized and clean. If something is out of stock, staff give a honest explanation and a sincere apology. Also, they sell REAL grinders. Definitely get one here!! You're welcome. 😉

Best sandwiches in the area / reasonably priced too!!

If you want a good grinder this is the place to go, It's quietly nestled in Mansfield on route 32 if you call ahead you simply go in and get your grinders out of the refrigerator.... that said all grinder's are cold and they are delicious and well worth the 12.95... The two girls that generally make the grandeurs in the back are just sweethearts and it's always an enjoyable time having a nice conversation with them while waiting if you order at the counter

They have an incredible staff. Everyone I talk to is polite and friendly. Their deli grinders are amazing. I will drive an extra 20 minutes to get their grinders over any sandwich place. My mom use to take our family here when I was young and now that I have my own family I can see me bringing them here for years to come. I love Thompsons!

Great local family run business. We get our chicken feed and bedding here. They also have the most amazing sandwich shop in the back. No place around can make a sandwich better than G. M. Thompson.

It's a feed store. Everything any farmer/country person could possibly need. Generations old. It's also an amazing Deli! Soups, sandwiches, grinders are not to be believed! Call in your order

Thompson Store has the BEST grinders ever! They are made with meat from bogners and are LOADED w fresh meat and fixings. The price is great at only $6-7 for an 8" grinder. I ate here for the first time today and will definetly be back.

honestly haven’t been there, but I drive past there all the time on my way to school and I gotta say- who ever is in charge of sign outside; you’re killing it!!! they must change the message every other day at least and it’s always something funny or good advertising at least. idek what they do but it’s my favorite part of my ride! :)

Country store with friendly folks! They have a sandwich bar at the rear of the store with absolutely delicious sandwiches. You gotta try one!

I hesitate even reviewing since I don't want a secret to get out. Don't be intimated. It is a feed store, but the grinders here are ginormous, fresh and delicious. My favorite lunch spot. I'm talking like a pound of meat on each. Wow. The people here are the nicest ever. You can get coleslaw on your grinder! My recommendation ... Roast beef with Swiss, coleslaw, etc., And a hosmer mountain birch beer. If you need, you can pick up a 50pund bag of pig feed, bale of Hale, and a goat castrater (not joking and I bought mine here) on your way out.

Step back in time! A great old fashioned feed and grain store that sells so much more. Great bird seed choices and so much more. Nice and friendly staff. They will load your purchases into your car.
