Prairie Dog Metropolis

There are literally Prarie dog everywhere and right by the road. The wild horses were a nice addition as well.

Construction traffic made it a little tougher to view this prairie dog town when I visited, but it is an extensive town and watching these little busybodies provides endless fun.

Actually saw two coyotes hunting in the metropolis

Many fun furry aniynsls that you can see right from the road. Bring binoculars if you can

Like a cross between a human housing development and a Whack a Mole at the arcade, the Prairie Dog Town is a unique wildlife scene. The prairie dogs seem to appear and reappear like a magicians illusion. As a side of the road stop with no walking required this simple and accessible to everyone.
