This campground is conveniently located next to the entrance of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Also just a half mile or so is the neat little town of Medora. The park itself was roomy and easy to get in and out. It was hot the day we visited in mid September and a little windy which made me wonder how hot can it get mid summer. There is a small stream you can walk to in the park as well. The check in was smooth and there are a few necessities available.

We were on site number 817 and it was an end site so nobody on one side. Utilities were really good with water pressure and 120v on both lines of 50 amp service. No shade, but it wasn't that hot and weather cool off at night nicely. A little dusty, but everything is like that in this part of the state. Check in was easy and staff was great.

Awesome location for a short stay. Lots to see, Medora is always a great place to go camping. Great people and awesome educational entertainment.
Camp site is easy to pull into. BBQ was clean and ergonomic. Sadly there is no fire pit.
We pull a 36 foot with a Megacab. Everything fit nicely on the pad, which was level. In all great camping, easy pull threw and plenty of space if your in a back in sit. 30/50 amp plug in. Full hook up and clean easy access plumbing for longer stays to dump.
Medora is less than a mile away, we will be coming back! Great place to spend time with family of all ages.

The last time I camped at Medora Campground was back in 2007. The campground has improved a lot since then. The bathrooms are newer! They added about 50 more camping spots with 50 amp hook ups. I've always enjoyed staying at the Medora Campground as a kid with my grandparents. I will be back!

I used to camp in the NP and the State Park when staying in the area, but, for the past few years, we've made this place our home. It is in a beautiful setting and is well maintained. The sites are a good size. The staff is friendly and flexible. The views are amazing. I hope you like grasshoppers.

Great location. Right next to entrance to Roosevelt National Park. Nice campground. Helpful staff. Sites mostly level. Clean bathrooms and showers. Showers are individual rooms with great water pressure. Great cell service with Verizon. WiFi available. Shuttle available to Medora Musical.

Directly next to the park, next to the cute town of medora! Medora had a kangaroo jump, a little water play area, mini golf, places to eat, shops.

Next time will be spending a whole week here.

Campground is beautifully set, easy access to laundry (have to have last load in by 630 pm), kids play park, individual showers, nice bathrooms.

Will be coming back to stay again.

We stayed in the Luffsey cabin so while I cannot speak for the actual campground I would recommend any one of their cabins. Equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and A/C unit it made for a luxurious stay after a few nights of tent camping. The cabin can sleep up to 7 folks for only $140 too.

Campground is very nice and it is a bonus that they have several rest rooms along with several showers. People at check in were very nice and if they didn't have something they were able to recommend a place that they thought may have it. Would definitely stay here again

Walking distance to Medora. Occasionally you could hear the train, but overall a quiet, well maintained campground. Close to Theodore Roosevelt NP- South Unit and the Medora Musical.

Great campground! We stayed for a 3 day weekend. Our spot had full hookups and everything worked great! The staff were very kind and helpful. There are 2 buildings for showers and restrooms. We only went into the older one and it was well maintained and quite clean. There is a playground for the kids with a basketball court. The camp spots all seem to have a BBQ grill and a picnic table. There are not individual fire pits, but there is one by the office to use. There is a public swimming pool adjacent to the property. The campground is less than a mile walk into town. This was a huge plus for us. It was much easier to walk into town for shopping, coffee, and drinks rather than drive in and try to find parking. We will definitely return!

Nice campground. We've stayed here both times we've been to Medora. Close to the musical, park, and downtown. There's a nice sidewalk leaving the park and all the way into town so you can easily walk in and explore Medora. The sites aren't very wide, but it is an RV park, not a State Park campground (where you usually have more room to spread out). It seems pretty typical layout to me. Staff is nice and very welcoming.

Beautiful, spacious, campground nestled in the Badlands along the banks of the Little Missouri River. Lots of mature trees. Away from the highway. No highway noise, but busy railroad tracks run nearby.
The showers are hot with great water pressure!

Excellent campground for one night or a week. Campground is charming and simple. Right on water with trails for access to river, which has a small beach area by river and an easy walk or bike ride into town for supplies. The camp store has cute gifts and snacks but not a huge selection. The sites are just wide enough for your camper a picnic table and fire pit but not a ton of space between. And no grass by campers for pets, you will need to walk a short distance.

Great camp ground located on the outskirts of town and right next to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Location made this campground ideal👍 would stay here again with my family and recommend to others.

Mountain views and a short walk to a beautiful river. Nice place to enjoy your morning coffee. Community Pool walking distance (have to pay not in rv park but not a big deal).

We loved this location! So close to the town of Medora and TRNP south unit entrance (literally less than a mile away). We also did the Pitchfork Steak Fondue and Medora Musical. Highly recommend if you’re in the area! Perfect campground for our needs.

Beautiful setting. Fire pits, comfortable shower and restroom facilities. Adjacent to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and museums, and fabulous patriotic show. Dog friendly and playground for children.

Overall great experience! The grounds and bathrooms kept really clean! The location is amazing! Being on the river was an added bonus for evening activities. The only issue we had was we booked a tent site with electric, but were given an RV site which didn't have grass to set up tent on. Thankfully we all have sleeping pads so wasn't huge issue, but stubbing your toe on rocks isn't the most fun. So I would highly recommend checking to make sure they have the actual space you need available.
