This is a great first stop if you are coming into the park. They have a wonderful video and are very helpful and can answer all your questions about the park. There is also a wonderful gift shop area.

This is one of the hidden gems of the US National Parks system. We highly recommend you go here for a visit. There are wild horses, bison, incredible rock formations, and hiking trails!

The rangers here are friendly and answered all of our questions. The museum is small but worth visiting. They have a movie theatre where you can watch a film about the park. You can also visit Theodore Roosevelt’s actual cabin here as well.

Really pleasant experience. April was a good time to visit, not many other people in the park but there were lots of critters that showed up. It was windy and cold so I didn't hike much but the hiking would be great.

Ive traveled to many national parks. TR NP is not one to miss. The best trip can be had in under 3 hours. Take the scenic drive and stop at wind canyon, boilcourt trail, and buck hill for beautiful views with short hikes. Stop in the museum to get a feel for Teddy's presence in the Dakotas.

Very educational and the bathrooms were clean and modern. The cabin was quick to walk through and look at all of the items.

Understand going into it that this is not Yellowstone - it's one of the lesser national parks, but there's still lots of beauty and history here. Perfect for a day of driving and looking it a day of hiking.

What a beautiful drive around the south unit today. We took our time and got out of the car many times. The drive lasted for over 3 hours for us. We saw buffalo, horses, prairie dogs, many types of birds, and gaggles of humans.
A must see at Roosevelt National Park.

A great first stop before you explore Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The staff is friendly, insightful, and have great ideas to help you plan your visit. There is a decent gift shop with a nice array of souvenirs. The visitor center also plays a short, 20 minute-ish movie about the park, and there is a great exhibit honoring Teddy Roosevelt.

Beautiful and unique park- perhaps one of my favorites. Definitely take time for the loop drive and spend some quality time at the Prairie Dog villages. The visitor's center itself is a must- plenty of information on the park and it's hikes.
