One of the meals I have had since I moved to North Dakota from the east coast. We went all out and was worth every penny. Great service, great everything.

Excellent food! We were very impressed with the menu and learned a lot about some new, MUST-TRY cocktail recipes! They’re not just churning out the regular American recipes here… the homemade bread is fantastic!

Theodore's, the restaurant inside the Rough Riders Hotel, has unbelievable food options. Seriously it's unreal. And Donnie behind the bar is the best Bartender/mixologist I've ever met. He creates his own drinks, brings back vintage drinks made the old way, and my guy knows how to work a room. He can have that whole bar talking and laughing with each other and he puts on a show when making his drinks. He can tell you the history of a drink and the science behind it. He is absolutely phenomenal. Also, shout out to Eugene. He is that dude! Served us breakfast and hooked us up with great food options for breakfast and dinner. Everybody in Medora is amazing.

I had the lobster bisque, green salad, prime rib, and the blood orange cheese cake. The bisque was super, the prime rib medium rare was perfectly cooked and way more than I could eat at one sitting. Garlic mashed potatoes and fresh grilled julienned vegetables filled out the plate. Definitely worth a visit for a well prepared, presented, and professionally serviced dining. We'll be back.

This restaurant is located inside Rough Riders Hotel and Dining. Tables had white table cloths for dinner. The pork belly appetizer was tasty. The prime rib dinner was outstanding. Had the king cut. Available on Friday and Saturday. The walleye was good. Dinner either comes with soup or salad. They also served bread and butter. Service was excellent and efficient

We've never had a bad meal or service! We always look forward to opening day! Today was that day, so happened to open on our Anniversary! If the Sticky Toffee is on the menu... its a must! We had the crab stuffed walleye and the duck breast! Excellent! I definitely recommend either. And the Lobster Bisque soup! You won't be disappointed.

After a long day of travel I was able to stop here for dinner. It was located inside my hotel; Rough Riders Hotel. While it was a bit pricy the quality of the food was amazing. I started with lobster bisque and a Caesar salad. I enjoyed both. For the main course I had a 7 oz filet medium rare in a cream sauce, vegetables (Squash and Zucchini), braband potatoes and a lobster tail. The streak was tender and juicy. I was very happy with my meal. As for the service she was very attentive even when she was super busy.

My review is for the Teddy tavern next to the dining room. Small bar. Sat at the bar. Their specialty drinks were fabulous. Donnie, bartender, loves his job. A true mixologist. He made his own syrups.

Excellente table, des plats cuisinés à la perfection par un chef à la recherche d'authenticité culinaire.

The quality of the food, the presentation, the service, everything is perfect including an atmosphere unique in this prestigious hotel.

The price is affordable if you think of the package this restaurant is offering. Highly recommended.

We had a to go order and it took about 15 min wait. We had bison and it was amazing. It came with lobster bisque and it was great also. A bit pricy place but looked fancy and quality of food was great. Also portion was so big that it lasted me for 2 meals:)
Pleased that they used actual fresh veggitabels in a big variety in one meal. Thumbs up from me.

Delicious, surprisingly good for this remote location. Lobster bisque was delicate and flavorful. The Iberico pork chop had rich and subtle flavors, an abundance of salt that amplified the flavors, and perfectly done potatoes and beets accompanying it. Service was friendly and attentive, decor was warm and dark including period pressed-tin ceilings giving a nice retro feel.

The bison osso bucco was delicious! My husband's prime rib sandwich was also good. Service was top notch - friendly servers! Huge portions. The food is expensive, but worth it!

Recommended. Nice quiet place with good old charm oak interiors, clean tables and friendly staff. Our daughter loved the food and that tells a lot.. We ordered an omelet, Cowboy breakfast, and Eggs Benedict in Sandwich form. All was very well prepared. Coffee was good as well.

The lobster bisque was great, and the steak knocked it out of the park. Wait staff was extraordinary, and the bartender, Donnie, put an amazing amount of effort and passion in to his cocktails. Was expensive but well worth the price.

This place was awesome. We sat in the bar and the bartender, John, put on a show mixing up his special cocktails. Best drinks ever. Had the lobster bisque, beet salad & French dip with truffle fries. My husband & I shared these. Food was fabulous. Best French dip we’ve ever had. I felt we had made friends by the time we left. Wish this restaurant was close to were we lived we would be here all the time. Our cost was over $100 because we purchased 2 bottles of wine to go.

By far the best dining experience in Medora. Gourmet options you won’t find anywhere else in town. I had the charred ribeye, which was excellent. Menu has great variety without trying to do too much. Service is a little slow and it can get a little noisy. Overall it is an exceptional and high quality dining experience.
