Max and Issy's Pizzeria

Max & Issy’s is a super cute date spot with great pizza. The inside is gorgeous and the food is incredible. They have a few unique pizzas, such as the Queen of Hearts, which is basically if spinach artichoke dip was a pizza. I had the hot honey pepper pizza and honestly whoever decided honey goes on pizza deserves an award. The pizzas only come in one size, which is 16” aka large, so you’ll probably want to share. Since my girlfriend and I have different taste palates (mine being good and hers being less good), we ordered two pizzas and now we have lots of leftovers. Highly recommend stopping by for date night or just a great pizza with friends.

Great Atmosphere
... Saturday night before Christmas and it was nice and quite...great jam music by the bartender and awesome service. We got the white pizza queen of hearts and another just pepperoni & sausage...house salad was fire...we will be back!!!

A friend took me here and I had a wonderful time! We arrived about 30 minutes before the kitchen closed and the place was pretty busy but the service and wait time wasn't bad at all.

We got the meatballs and the specialty pizza, which was some sort of pizza with garlic, artichoke, and a cream sauce. The meatballs and sauce were delicious and the pizza was perfectly crispy and tasty!

We stumbled on this place one evening on a walk. Glad we stayed. The pizza was great and the staff was super friendly. It was an old bar called Paddy Longs. So older reviews still talk about the bacon & the previous food. It’s now all about the pizza!! and they did an amazing job rehabbing it. The best part was the pizza chef, came out to your table with the pizza he made and would check up on you. Very special experience from such a casual spot. They have a full bar too!

We were looking for a sit-down New York style pizza place and we were not disappointed. Very friendly atmosphere. The pizza was delicious. And I have never had prosciutto offered on a pizza before and it was amazing. They even have root beer on tap for the kids.

Great place for Italian style thin crust pizza. Great beer selection on draft. The house wine was pretty good. Our waiter was very nice and super attentive.

Food, service, and drinks were great! I’d definitely come back and enjoy some of their delicious pizza again!

The Hot Honey Pepper(oni) pizza is excellent!! Nice draft beer selection. Fun place. Three stars on service because our server turned off all of the TVs even though Sunday 4pm NFL games were on and we were watching. He wasn't happy when we asked him to turn them back on and only turned on one TV even though there are several. We had to turn sideways to even see the one he did turn back on. Sports on TV are part of the atmosphere we seek when choosing a casual place for dinner. Changing it up by turning the TVs off is inconsiderate. Refusing to turn them back on when asked very nicely is ridiculous.

Please dont crucify me for saying this but....it was damn near too much bacon. Lol...but my bf thought it was PERFECT! Definitely The Go-To spot for bacon lovers. Service was fantastic! The waiter explained the different types of bacon as soon as he brought them to the table. We would absolutely return.

I randomly ordered for delivery last night and I was really blown away. I’m originally from New York so this pie was a very pleasant surprise. Only call out was it’s a tad under cooked - next time I will ask for a bit more well done

The best pizza ive had in Chicago, easily. It was slightly soupy in the center, if it held its shape better it wouldve been perfect. But i loved it regardless. Special shoutout to whatever sausage blend they use, it was DELICIOUS.

Excellent thin crust pizza! Absolutely delicious. Crust was baked perfectly crisp. You can tell all of the ingredients are top quality. I just got plain cheese and I was so impressed at how good is is. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Was it worthy of the 8.1? Yes, absolutely and I’d probably go a little higher. Service was on point too. I would say the only con of this place is the lack of appetizers.

This is such a cozy little neighborhood place. The pizza slaps and the staff was very helpful and incredibly chill. The salad wasn’t bad either. Will def be back

Super fresh ingredients makes all the difference. Great New York style pizza, got the Hot Honey Pepper pizza and the Apple Italiano pizza. It was a good sized pizza given the price point, will definitely be back when looking for that authentic NY pizza feel and experience.

I get seduced by the front patio into coming in here every time. Every time! And yet i forgot to take a picture of it! They have an excellent better selection, but it's kind of pricey. Good was good and interesting. Crowd was cool and so was the staff. Come here!

This place was awesome. Very comfortable and casual. Staff was very friendly. We sat at the bar and gad good conversation about bacon and vintage t-shirts. If you've never been, you have to go. Order the grenades, game changers.

An awesome place with a great selection of beer and multiple kinds of bacon. They also feature a beer of the month offered on tap for a low price! Paddy Longs also hosts a lot of tap takeovers from local breweries, so it’s worth keeping up with what they are doing next. Great friendly staff and a wonderful place to stop if you’re in the neighborhood.

Ok. So y’all ready for this??? A buddy and I went here after some whiskey at Delilah’s. Neither of us had been and my friend said he had heard good things. I mean… it’s pizza right? So even if it’s bad it’s still good.

This pizza is some of the BEST I have ever had in this city. It was unbelievably good. We ordered two. One white pizza and one “Paddy’s our Daddy”. Crushed them both. The sauce, the crust. The bake. All damn near perfect. This is some of the best pizza in Chicago right now. Do yourself a favor and get this pizza in your mouth as soon as possible.
