PODS Moving & Storage

I was remodeling my home and needed to store my large furniture and household items quickly. After comparing prices and availability with local and national self-store companies, I chose PODS for its affordability and the drop off/pick up of the storage container. Overall I am very pleased with PODS and will consider using them again.

Excellent service with well trained drivers and service representatives who take the time to understand customer needs and priorities. The process was explained in detail and the frequent communications kept me informed before, during and after the process. Highly recommend and will use again when their services are needed.

Friendly customer service. They make it as easy as possible to not only order their product but an equal amount of energy is put into the ongoing relationship as well. I was quite impressed with their service overall.

Can NOT recommends PODS enough! The entire process is simple and straight forward. SUPER great for those of us who don't want to rely on family/friends with trucks, don't want to drive a Uhaul and want to plan ahead & pack as you go! NO hidden charges. Super, super great service when you need a modification too!

Process was simple, delivery drivers were communicative and pleasant, and they really worked to get our pod into an advantageous position in the parking lot so we didn't have to carry furniture as far. I have used them a couple times now and the product has been consistent.

This was a great way to store household furniture while the house was being remodeled. I did like the ability to change my pickup schedule as the pod was not required for the entire month however I do wish that prices were prorated. Great customer service overall.

Our situation was crazy, and involved 2 households from 2 different states merging into one in a 3rd state. Did that even PHASE Pods? Not even close. Between the extra hands at load out for both beginning properties to both trucks arriving at the destination property literally within 10 MINUTES of each other (apparently, the drivers were in communication. I love it), to getting us unloaded from ***2*** trucks in a single day, I couldn't have asked for better communication, coordination, and courtesy. Highest recommendation.

I moved across country, and my experience with PODS was flawless! From the very first phone call to the final pick up of my empty PODS, the communication and agreed upon timing was excellent. I had specific time frames when I needed the PODS dropped off and also when I needed them to be delivered to my new home due to the availability of my loading and unloading help. This was our second time using PODS to relocate due to a change of job. Again, such an easy and affordable way to pack and move. Highly recommend using PODS.

This is the first time we used PODS and it was a great experience from the initial quote to the drop off of the POD at our home and the re-drop at our destination. The POD was clean and just the right size for our move. This was one of the smoothest moves we've ever had and the pricing was fair.

The drivers did a great job dropping off our 16 ft POD, and picking it up again. Mike was especially kind and informative.

I was only moving 5 minutes away but the timing of selling my current home and buying my new one proved difficult. I initially used the website to get a quote to drop off one day, pick up 2 days later and drop off at new location same day, then do final pick up 2 days later. I realized that would not work (had to be out 6/2, couldn't move in until 6/4). I called in and talked with the nicest rep who helped me build a whole new quote for what I needed (them to store my stuff for 2 days at their facility). I knew the dates so after seeing them say clearly to plan ahead on the dates you need, I did that, and got all my drop-offs and pick-ups done when I wanted. In fact, I scheduled early enough in advance that I ended up being the first one 3 of the 4 days. 1 of them, it showed up at 2. Every time, the driver was a joy (dealt with 2 of them between the 4 moves). They emailed me the day before every time, the driver called me at 15 minutes out every time. The first delivery was to go in my driveway but I grossly underestimated how low my neighbor's branches were. The driver talked me through some options and helped me get it figured out. I watched a lot of videos on how best to pack the Pod and used ratchet straps to secure everything like the driver showed me. I only lost one piece of furniture to the move but in their defense, the desk was shoddy to begin with so I kind of knew it wouldn't make it but wanted to try. Otherwise, moved 3 beds, 2 couches, 1 love seat, 3 desks, 4 bookcases, and a lot of miscellaneous stuff, very easily. Put a mattress at the very end to keep the door from potentially getting stuck on anything. I tell you all this so you know, if you plan ahead and plan accordingly, Pods will do wonders for you. Can't say enough nice things about the whole experience. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

They were there on time to deliver and pick up. The drivers were very professional. They took the time to make sure property was not damaged. As long as they deliver what they picked up, I have no complaints.

PODS allowed me to combine my desire with packing and loading a container with my desire to avoid driving my belongings across the country. I was amazed that PODs picked up and delivered my containers on the dates that I set. PODs also provided frequent updates all along the process. I feel PODs is an excellent value when comparing against a rental truck.

We used a POD for storing items during a renovation. The delivery and pickups were easy to schedule, there was no damage to my property and the people were great to work with. Will use again!

PODS was awesome to work with and made our move SO much easier than renting a truck and a storage locker(s). Everyone we dealt with over the phone and in person was highly professional and friendly! Would highly recommend!!

Mike 1 from Ankeny PODS was fantastic! Our drop off was smooth and easy. He called to double check placement before arrival, then called again when he arrived. Using POD was everything I expected for a simple task that I needed. The container was clean, delivered and picked up promptly and it was the solution for moving an apartment's worth of stuff across the country. I supplied the labor to pack and unpack and PODs does everything else.
