The Boat House

The Boat House is a Johnston staple and I am happy it’s my hometown bar. The bar is always full of locals and it’s always a good time. Also, the prices are very reasonable. If you haven’t been to the Boat House, swing by, get a drink and take a quick mirror selfie to let people know you’re supporting a Johnston staple.

Stopped in for a drink after a 10 mile hike. Very cool bar. No food confirmed. Patrons and bartender banter is really funny and cool too. I would most definitely go again next time I'm in the area.

Perfect little place to be close to home 🥹love the atmosphere and they have a great bartender who works Sunday and Monday evenings super friendly I love the place. Clean and I like the big tv behind the bar there’s always something good to watch and usually a nice person to visit with! Thank you boathouse!! I recommend this place for sure!

Nicki B is the Best bartender Ever!!! When she is there the service is impeccable. They have whiskey Wednesdays when ANY whiskey is 4$ and they have a really good selection just nothing super fancy but have all the classics including my makers!!!

Fun place to go for a drink and tasty appetizers. Owner/bartender was A-1 top notch. She spent alot of time with us. A very likeable soul for sure. We will definitely go back again and again.
Even other customers were super friendly.
Restroom spotless.

Always met with a great welcoming along with free popcorn. Only down fall is no food other than frozen pizza. Stop by and check it out!

Fun place! Very good food and friendly staff. I dug the ambiance too!

Stopped in after a day of biking in the area. Friendly atmosphere and was greeted at the bar. Popcorn, pretzels and snack mix available along with low priced drinks.

We love Carrie!! She's an awesome bartender. She is so sweet and bubbly and fun to talk with! We always have a great time at this bar.... maybe too much!!

We enjoyed the people that was there, very good crowd of people fun and friendly as well as the staff. Would definitely go back again. Nice friendly bar.

The bartender was very friendly. It is a small bar and not too busy. The drinks were mixed very well and they played good music.

Great dive bar with loyal customers and such a great management team- best thing about this bar, there is no drama!!! So of you like drama, please stay away!!!! Always fun and cheap drinking--- MH

Could use a broader beer selection but still had plenty of options. Nice neighborhood bar with very pleasant wait staff. Will be coming back.

A low key bar, with a "Cheers" environment where everyone literally knows everyone. Owner bought us a round so we returned the favor and bought his group a round. Everyone was very friendly.
