Saylorville Lake Cherry Glen Boat Ramp

Spent time with grandchildren on sandy area where there were big rocks to sit on (we didnt bring lawn chairs).
We were actually looking for the regular beach. Never found it. Use to go all the time in the 80's, but everything has changed.
Kids swam. Nice spacious restroom for one person, but big enough for wheel chair, i believe. Clean restroom.
Fun watching boats coming in and going out. Oh, and very much appreciated that they have life jackets to use and put back when done!
It was not busy as it was a cloudy day.

Easy and when it's been crowded, DNR is there to keep it straight.

Great park with lots of benches and grills! Generally it's a fairly clean park too. The views from this spot are pretty awesome as well. One downside is the picnic area is only open until 8pm.

Big and spacious , very peaceful ! You have enough room to be away from groups and it’s shaded areas spread throughout

Very nice lake in a pretty area. Hiking, butterfly garden, bike trails, beaches, bat ramps, and campgrounds. Probably lots of other things I missed.

Nice spot to swim has a rocky bottom. Jet ski loading and unloading.

Closest thing to a water of Eden in Central Iowa. Highly recommend visiting with friends and family.
