My go-to hardware store even after moving to a nearby city. Highly recommend using the Home Depot app if you have access to a smartphone to see if what you are looking for is actually in stock at your local store. Just remember that low stock items always have a chance of being out of stock by the time you get there. Also, feel free to ask the friendly staff in case you don't see stock on the shelves (even if the app says they do) as the available stock might just not be re-shelves yet.

You'll pretty much find every generic item you need for all of your home improvement needs.

Pretty standard Home Depot experience. I’m and out with what I needed.

Went in 30 minutes before close tonight to grab some moving boxes and packaging tape.

Manager on duty was in back helping stock up the shelves and was super friendly and assisted me in grabbing my items partially or fully blocked by product ready to go on the shelves.

Cashier was friendly upon checkout as well. Never had a bad experience at this location!

Clean store, helpful staff, good sale prices, lifetime guarantee on products I bought, nice credit terms!

We have become regulars at this store and love the staff. Bobby Joe in the lumbar area and Brian in paint have been so helpful every time we’ve come back with questions about products or do-it-yourself tasks. This store had helped us believe we could actually do tasks ourselves. We love it!

So yesterday was my first experience with the Home Depot price match. I have to be honest when stores talk about this often times there is some clause or loophole that always makes in the stores favor you're trying to price match with. Not the case with Home Depot. There was no need for a manager or a million hoops to jump through. I simply showed them how much it was on the app for the other store and for store pick up and the cashier matched it on the spot. Which is good because I like getting everything in one spot. I shop at Home Depot enough that my wife never lets me go alone for fear that our daughter's college fund will be drained. So great customer service and definitely the type to keep their word. Thanks Home Depot.

Edit: Still spending small country's military budget on tools and still love going to Home Depot especially during sales. I tend to stock up during sales.

Very good customer service and flexible payment plan. This is the place that will help you get your work done without hurting your budget. From new appliances to interior and exterior home upgrades. There are a lot of choices to choose from, quality and affordable.

Kristen from the paint department was amazing!! She went above and beyond for our project. We are painting our unfinished basement ceiling to floor and she recommended paints, finishes, and amounts!

Decent quality lumber, poor selection. Fair selection of tools. Staff are helpful with locating products when not busy. The most helpful and knowledgeable employees, by far, are at the pro desk. Lots of pressure to sign up for a Home Depot credit card at checkout. I utilize the Home Depot Revolving Line of Credit. I've never had any problems with credit account and would recommend it. The pro parking in front is fantastic!

Ankeny Home Depot did a great job with online order and curbside pickup. I had a heavy order and was able to place the order, get notifications and pick up in under two hours. I didn't even park in the right spot and Jonathan came right out to the car and loaded it for me. He was very friendly and efficient!

We got the best service from Chad Buttz in the flooring department. He was very patient. He answered all of our questions. He knew the products he was talking about! Great job Chad! Keep up the hard work!

This store's customer service used to be horrible. It has greatly improved. No problem going there now. Used to avoid the Ankeny store.

I had an item shipped to store and the locker pickup was super easy. I just tapped enter code and scanned the QR code that was emailed to me.

A girl with cool piercings named Kaitlyn in aisle 45 didn't stop helping even when I had given up my search. Through her persistence, the item I wanted was found and my shopping experience was elevated.

Great holiday pricing on tools with lifetime warranty. Quality cheap boxes as a alternate to spending that snap on cash. Can get a 72 with a top cab and side locker for about the cost of a snap on or matco 46in. Milwaukee stuff on sale and killer deals on sockets. I still use brand name ratchets and electric impacts/ electric ratchets. They are just that much better but for sockets and such why not. The quality is professional
