Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits

A well-stocked liquor store attached to the grocery store. When I visited on a Saturday a little after noon, there were two tables set up offering free sample tastes of various liquors (one was representing Jack Daniels and the other a distributor of flavored whiskies). An overall good selection of spirits and beer, including Guiness in cans, which can be hard to find in central Iowa.

This Hy vee (410 Ankeny BLVD)is the friendliness of all and any Hy vee in Iowa!!! I only shop here due to that great employees and service they provide...I actually live closer to one of their other stores, but choose to do my shopping at this one cuz if the people....thank u for making one of my unfavorable chores,( shopping) fast,easy and pleasurable to

They always have a diverse selection of alcohol. I especially like that they carry local wines. My favorite is The Cellar-Marquette
