Elephant Family Quarters

A really great educational exhibit. I can see why this is voted one of the best zoos and aquariums. This is such a lovely place to visit! They have so many animals and so many different exhibits. All of which looked clean and all of the animals looked healthy. They have some information about the new baby elephants as well!

Really neat facility for the elephants. There was a few people working inside who were willing to answer any questions I had about the elephants inside. I was able to see through the back of the facility of one of the newborn baby elephants that was born 4 weeks ago and was so cute. The elephants looked happy and well taken care of.

LOVE having elephants in Omaha again! Kudos to the Henry Doorly Zoo and all of those involved for their efforts and hard work for saving the lives of these elephants and getting them back to Omaha. The family quarters are wonderful, and the outdoor space is even better.

Whether you're going indoors or watching them outdoors, this part of the zoo is amazing and great for everyone in the family.

Was there around 2pm and they fed the elephants. Super cool watching them get the elephants to turn and lift their feet for wellness checks. This is where they will be when it's colder.

Good to see the elephants back at the zoo. They're still finishing up a few things with the exhibit, but it will be world class and then some when it's finished.

This a great area to see and learn about elephants. They have a lot of things to stimulate the elephants and keep them healthy mentally and physically!

The Elephants are so magnificent!! The family quarters they built for them have so many neat features and things for the Elephants to do.

A great place to get up close with the elephants

Kids and I loved seeing the elephants fairly close up. It was very cool to see the trunk in action.

This is one of the best exhibits in the world's greatest Zoo. The Rhinoceros complex was not finished when we were there.

The elephants seem to be enjoying themselves and I liked the layout of the enclosure. Seems to be plenty of room inside and outside the compound.

It is amazing to watch the gandlers interact with the elephants. The kids and I were here for quite a while taking it all in.

Great exhibit. I've always enjoyed watching elephant documentaries; actually seeing them up close and in person is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best zoo ever. Always love going and walking around looking at all the animals.

Always a treat to see the heard working on the various puzzles and enrichment activities that the keepers set up for them.
