They were extremely professional, explained everything that was going to happen, how it was going to happen and when. No hidden fees, no over pricing, no B.S., the work was outstanding, the crew was polite, knew there individual jobs. I have no complaints whatsoever, I would highly and have recommended them for roofing and siding jobs.

Heartland delivers quality products and provides excellent customer service! After the March hailstorm, our home required a new roof, new vinyl siding, and new gutters and downspouts. From beginning to end, we worked with Matt on the assessment and order, then Tanner as the siding and gutter crew chief. They were always professional, and responsive to questions and concerns, and they strive to keep the customer happy. Upon inspection of our completed project, there were a couple of things that needed correcting, and they took care of those in a timely manner. We have been quite satisfied with their work and recommended them to several homeowners in our neighborhood.

A hailstorm went through our subdivision last April, and my neighbor recommended Heartland to us. We started on a lengthy process, working with Chase to replace siding, roofing, and windows. All the crews and site managers were professional and courteous, and they took the time to make sure we were kept in the loop at all times. With a project this size, you expect a few hiccups, but they were all minor, and quickly corrected by either the crew on-site, or on a follow-up visit. Now, we have a brand-new house from the outside, and we even added a window I had always wanted in the utility room.
I would recommend Heartland to anyone needing roofing, siding, or window replacements. They do good work, and they take pride in providing customer satisfaction.

This is an easy 5 star review; I cannot say enough about Heartland!! I had them install siding and gutters for me. From the first point of contact to the final touches on my project, it was a great experience the entire way through! Todd came out and talked to me about what I was looking for, answered all of my questions and concerns, and gave me an estimate which was right on par with other estimates I had received; However, I felt an extra sense of professionalism and sincerity with Heartland which made them an easy choice. They did not try to rush me to make a decision like some other companies did. Michael was my crew leader for the project and kept me updated every step of the way and answered all of my questions and concerns promptly. I have a 100 year old + house and there were some things that came up during the work that needed extra attention. Some things had been done improperly or short cuts taken on past work. Michael brought them to my attention and made sure they were fixed properly so there would be no issues down the road. The work crew was very efficient, polite, and got the job done quickly. They cleaned up the best they could afterwards, since there was snow on ground, then came back after the snow had melted to do further cleanup and make sure every last nail was picked up and there was no trace that they had been there. I had one small issue I noticed right after the completion of the project, contacted Michael, and he came out the same day to look at it and had it all fixed the next day!! I cannot say enough about my experience with Heartland, their promptness, professionalism, attention to deal, and I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome. The siding and gutters look great!!! My old house is looking new again! I would refer anyone to Heartland for their home projects; they go above and beyond!!

We had an excellent experience with Heartland Roofing, Siding, and Solar. John Winters provided excellent communication. The solar was removed, roof and skylight installed and solar replaced all in one day. They were very careful and not one branch was damaged nor nail left behind. It was so nice not to have to subcontract - to just work with one person/one company. We highly recommend them.

The Heartland team was purely amazing! Tanner was quick to respond to any questions we had and Kenny was quick to give me updates of when we could expect work to get completed. It was difficult choosing a color and he was so understanding and gave us examples around the neighborhood we could look at for scale. We LOVE what we chose. We were worried about the level of work being done because it was a BIG project for us but the team did an amazing job getting everything done and making it so easy! We highly recommend them and would work with them again!

Heartland was excellent to work with! Their team helped us navigate the challenges of working with our insurance company and did a fantastic job. The work that I've had completed on my home consisted of being completely resided, new roof, new gutters, and new windows. The work was coordinated and completed in various stages. During each stage I was well informed and expectations were set and met. The Heartland team did a great job of communicating with me and setting my mind at ease knowing that though work was going to be completed without issue. And the work was completed without issue. I had complete peace of mind throughout the whole experience.
The people that I personally worked with were Kenny, Chase, and Tanner. All of which were exceptional people, and represented their company extremely well. They were eager to help in any way they could. They gave me peace of mind through the whole process and for that I'm extremely grateful.
I am relatively new to the Ames area and I am a bit apprehensive when it comes to finding people/companies to do work for me. I can say without question, based on my experience, Heartland is a great company to work with, and has my highest recommendation.

Got new roof, siding, and gutters, and they all look phenomenal. Was a pleasure to work with. Very informative with the details of the work, and the process of getting the work done. Always showed up in a timely manner on the day scheduled. Highly recommend these guys for your house needs.

Heartland Roofing was great start to finish. I had got 3 quotes. They were in the middle. I had roof replaced on my house and shed. Gutters replaced on house. Siding installed on my shed. Everthing looked great. Cleanup was very good. Have found only 3 roofing nails so far. Communication with salesman onto crew leaders was very good. They did the work when they said they would. Very pleasant to work with. No hidden/surprise expenses. Would highly recommend them. About only complaint they was a little slow in getting back for a final walk around. But it is the go time of year and they are busy. They do not bill you until after final walk around which is good i think.

Heartland replaced our roof a few years ago, so we trusted them and called when our chimney’s siding was bad. José came out and honored the quote we had received from another employee of Heartland. He worked quickly and restored our deck to a livable space. What a polite and friendly crew! Our house looks better than it did when we bought it over twenty years ago. I couldn’t be happier. If you live in the Des Moines area and you need a new roof or siding, call Heartland. I’m super happy with my house, now.

We decided to take the opportunity to update the exterior of our home after storm damage. Every member of the Heartland team, from management to the office staff to the hard working men who replaced our roof and siding, were kind, patient and responsive in working with us and answering our questions. After a hail storm came through, we hired Heartland Roofing, Siding and Solar to replace our damaged roofing/siding. We also threw in windows that were in dire need of replacement on our 1875 house. Overall, we're super happy how it all came out. Their crews were polite and courteous and did amazing work. I would recommend them to friends and family any day.

In April 2022 my house, 2 rental properties and my church were damaged in a storm that passed through Ames, IA I checked with my insurance agent who recommended we call Heartland Roofing, Siding, and Solar. I contacted Heartland the next day and had a meetings on all of the properties needing repair. Heartland did an excellent job on all of the repairs which included 3 roof replacements (3 houses and my church); 4 complete gutter and downspout replacements; 1 full replacement of siding on the church rental property; partial siding replacement on the church building; and replacement trim on all of 4 properties.
The work was done with care. I am pleased with all of the work that was done. The crews were fast, precise and on time. If ever I have need of these types of repairs again I will call Heartland.
Because of their expert work I also hired them to replace the windows in my rental property. The job was fast and very neat with no damage to the interior or exterior of the house.
I will always recommend Heartland to my neighbors and friends.
