Olathe Health Family Medicine - Arbor Creek

Dr. Christiansen and the staff at Arbor Creek are top notch, always going above and beyond to help get an appointment a medication refill, a change of medication, or rescheduling lab work. I cannot speak more highly of this organization. This office is very busy but they care about you, always taking the time to talk to you about what is going on and ensuring you get the care you need. Thank you all for all you do for my family and myself.

I want to thank the staff, nurses and doctors for getting my Mom in today on a moments notice. She is 94 and had difficulty with bad coughing spell that developed into some issues. We didn't have to wait and they were all a godsend. We were so relieved she was taken care of in such a prompt and professional manner.

My office consulted this office and APRN Emily Gardner in regards to a mutual patient. In past experiences with other medical facilities and providers the consultant response takes forever and is very minimal or doesn’t even answer my questions.

APRN Gardner went above and beyond to ensure that her consulting response was timely, complete and accurate. There was actually more information than I needed.

I can only say if they put this much care and concern in answering a consult question I can only image that they would go above and beyond to take care of their other patients. I

If you’re looking for a new primary care provider APRN Gardner should be on the top of your list.

I appreciate their friendliness and prompt appointments. I usually don't have to wait for my appt very long. They are very thorough and listen to my concerns or questions.

I have been recently visited this clinic I have been treated well and respectfully by Besma she was doing great with impressive respect and her crews I just want to say thank you for what you are devoting day and night to take care our citizens

I love love this urgent care! The Drs are amazing! They listen and truly care to get you better. They are great with my kids. The front desk are friendly and so are the nurses. Highly recommend this urgent care!

I felt like a patient and not a number. Each of my concerns were fully addressed and options were discussed. Not only did I leave there feeling better, knowing an outcome, but the PA called me the next day to see if his treatment had any effect.

I have been so happy with the level of care provided by this healthcare team front to back. The front desk is very kind willing to help. The nurses are a friendly face and willing to help and answer the questions they can. If not they take the time to find the answers or if it is a doctor question they make sure it gets to them. They get back to you super quickly as well. People need to be understanding that healthcare professionals are a little overloaded at this time doing their best. The staff that I have dealt with here seem to do their best to be the most help they can be to you. Despite these difficult situations. I just truly appreciate it.

I have seen a couple of the nurse practitioners I believe and use Dr. Christiansen as my primary. I was referred to him and I now know why. He is very thorough, respectful, polite, genuine, and takes the time to listen. He takes the time to educate you throughout the appointment. Which is appreciated so I can understand. He wants to help and it’s apparent he is in a field he is passionate and knowledgeable about. He is great at responding through the their portal. Just a fantastic doctor that as a nervous patient has earned my trust. The entire clinic has just shown me why I am so happy I switched providers. I saw Kerri Fellows, Brooke Ottesen, and Marion Adam West as walk in appointments I think and I have nothing but good things to say about all of them as well. Kind, respectful, knowledgeable and more. I just appreciate that I have a doctors office I trust.

Amazing doctors, nurses and staff. This office has the BEST doctors and nurses in the metro area. It's staff is always friendly and helpful. And it's a very clean well kept place. They deserve 10 stars.

These nurses are wonderful! Given the occupation where every person that comes to see them is usually not happy or healthy currently, they understand and are a pleasure to interact with so you can leave feeling better! I am under the care of Dr. Scott Williamson and won't change that for anything in KC. A very thoughtful, patient, caring, informative and helpful doctor! I've been here 3yrs happily where prior I had disdain for medical experiences. Make an appointment! Their new program for prescription pickups is outstanding and very accommodating!! Dr. Scott also keeps an eye on your needs should your prescription be difficult to fill due to demand. He asked about mine, and I mentioned it once and have had little to no problem since (and fillings aren't their responsibility!) Just another way they go further! I don't write reviews but good people don't get rewarded for good service it seems anymore. I'm staying here!

I was in a minor motorcycle accident and had some road rash and swollen knee. Shaundra Riley APRN was amazing with my care!!! She was very attentive and sweet. So nice and energetic! She genuinely cared about me and my issues! The X-ray tech Vonda was super nice too!! 10/10 would recommend going here. These two ladies made my pain a little easier!!

I just had an appointment (the first I’ve ever been to this particular office), and I had an appointment with Dr. Bernard Christensen.
I have not had the very best of interactions with any doctors from the olathe health system in the past. I have, however, heard many, many recommendations (mostly of doctors that are retired and out of the game now), as well as many interactions at the Blackfoot Medical Plaza (Olathe Health System Walk-In) doctors and staff; however I can never seem to find one of those ‘good’ doctors in a PRACTICE, where I can go to be their steady patient.

Well, due to a change in insurance; I recently had to get a new doctor that my insurance approved of.
I had to choose from a list; and I picked the highest-rated doctor on the list… That doctor was Dr. Bernard Christensen.

I want to take the time to leave a review here for the doctor, because not only did he do his very best to make sure I was comfortable from the moment he walked in, but he did not mind me asking questions; and even took the time to draw a visual representation of information we were discussing.
This is great for me; because I’m a visual learner. It’s not so much about ME, but instead of the thought that “wow, this is a really cool, personable doctor who works to make people better in the community my kids and parents are a part of as well.”
Which, anytime you add your kids and parents into something; its probably something that is either pretty close to you, pretty serious to you; or both.

I appreciated Dr. Christensen’s entire approach to “doctoring”! I appreciate his calm and composed, patient demeanor and also how not only readily, but happily, answered any questions I had, and even was cool enough to crack a silly where appropriate; which, if your a doctor, (a group of society I haven’t always had the verrrrryyyy best view of), a handshake, a smile, and a perfectly-timed dead-ringer is all it takes to win me over.

A simple equation that I feel works for pretty much everyone my age and demographic… Just a simple equation that so many other doctors choose to forget about……..

Anyway, I love how personable Dr. Christensen was and is, and I truly do look forward to seeing him in the future (not as in getting sick; but as in having such a relatable professional that I feel comfortable not only with my medical care and decisions; but also wouldn’t think twice to stop and say hello if I saw him at the grocery store or the park.
…………and that’s EXACTLY how the relationship between a doctor and a patient SHOULD BE.

Dr. Christensen is a glowing example of exactly what all new patients SHOULD expect, as well as receive, when it comes to establishing care with a new health care provider.
(I am on Medicare; so I see a lot of doctors. Dr. Christensen is by far one of the rare few who make the interaction a positive one. :)

We have been patient's at Arbor Creek for years. Things felt a bit up in the air after Dr. Williamson left, but we stuck it out. My son was then diagnosed with Type One Diabetes and things seemed even more up in the air each time we came. We didn't give up though, we had a great endocrinologist through CMH, so we really only came for colds and minor things. Yesterday, we were seen by Dr. Christensen. He was incredible! He was knowledgable, even about my sons T1D (which believe it or not has not been common in primary care doctors) he spoke TO my son and really listened to what was going on. We left feeling so great about finding the missing piece to our medical puzzle. So glad we stuck through the transition, after all the changes made, the office has found their footing and providing the same incredible care we all know and love!

I love these guys. I have seen so many Olathe walk in clinics and pediatricians with my daughter, but I always find my way back to Arbor creek. They are friendly and helpful and actually care about their patients. I haven't seen anyone here with a bad bedside manor. I am very pleased with Arbor Creek Family Care 😊

Dr Fellows and Her nurse Julie are a great team. Dr Fellows has been my Dr for over a decade and I drive 2 1/2 hours to see her. She and Julie are kind, compassionate and caring. I love these two and hope to have them be my Dr forever.

I visited Arbor Creek Family Care yesterday. I have been sick since February. Started out with Pneumonia in my right lung, was placed on anitbotics and felt good for a week but then got a double ear infection. Was placed on antibotics again. Then got a sinus infection, a doctor at another location told me my body needed to just fight it off. So for 2 months and 3 emergency inhalers later, I went into Arbor Creek and saw Adriane Barret. She listend to my chest, looked at my ears and sinuses and said "You have been sick for awhile.". She looked concerned for me, other doctors I have seen just didn't seemed to want to get patients in-and-out. She placed me on antibotics and assured me that I was going to get to feeling better. Said "No one should ever be this sick for 5 months".

I never write reviews.. But in and out of fevers, being on my breathing machine 3X a day, going through 3 inhalers in 5 months (are suppose to last 6 months), and trying every over the counter allergy and sinus decongestant.. I am really thankful for her, not for prescribing me medication but for being concerned and caring. I can most certainly say that Arbor Creek has an amazing doctor in their practice and she goes above and beyond for her patients. Thank you Dr. Barrett!

My son has been sick the past 2 weeks, that yucky virus that was going around with all the kiddos plus ear infection, we've been to this clinic once a week, and the Doctors and PA's are SO KIND and knowledgeable. Turned out he got well but his antibiotics caused some type of reaction and that's how we found ourselves back at the clinic in this 3rd week almost at closing time but the receptionist to the nurse, everyone was so helpful and kind. Our PA was Vicki, she was soooooo sweet and smart and friendly. We are now on the right track and got a follow up call today from Vicki. She showed nothing but care and attention to my son and gave him some goodies for doing as well as he could even if he was in pain, the fact that she followed up with us really meant a lot to me. She didn't have to, but SHE DID. For that, this place gets 5 stars for service, kindness and also for being Respectful. Thank you so much!!!!

I love this place! I recently switched my primary doctor and I’ve been so pleased! Dr Christenson is so nice and really listened to what I had to say! I can’t say enough good things about him! I’m very happy that I am in his care!

when you have an appointment, you are sure to be seen. when you are a walk-in patient, be prepared to wait longer than usual. the only doctor i've been to here is Dr. Williamson. he is a great family doctor who will take time to listen, diagnose, and treat you. wish there were more doctors like him in all the states i've lived at.

I like Dr. Stone. He is a gentlemen and makes me feel "cared for". That's what I expect from a doctor........a caring bed side manner is as important as diagnosis competency. So far, Dr. Stone has shown me he has both.
