VCA Olathe Animal Hospital

Dr. Stueve has cared for my little rabbits for the past several years and I have been repeatedly impressed by her professionalism, empathy, knowledge and education for patients. This facility is not the cheapest nor closest for us however is the only location I feel my pets are receiving the most comprehensive care with a vet who has an eye for attention to detail so I will make that trade off any day! She is thorough in every exam and I never feel that I am being rushed out the door. After some severe PTSD from pet loss, I am definitely the patient that calls to schedule at the whiff of something being off which I’m sure can get old but quality care and consistency remains the same! She keeps the animals best interest at heart which has always been clear. She is fun and caring and I highly recommend her to my local rabbit community! Thank you Dr.

they are freaking awesome! I took my little man in to get his eye checked out because he was having some troubles and not only did they do an amazing job of checking him out and explaining as they went but they were the absolute sweetest!!!! they treated him very very well, Rengoku loved Jennifer as well as the nurse who welcomed us. They sent us off with a solution to the problem and a goodie bag for my little man.
I thank them from the bottom of my heart, I would recommend them any day of the week!

Last year, we relocated to Kansas City and fortunately discovered VCA. It’s evident that they genuinely care about our dog. He’s typically anxious about vet visits due to PTSD from a past experience with a vet in this area who was rough, but the team at VCA has been wonderful in handling his needs. They even cut the pills to half for you!

One of our bunnies, Mochi, was neutered at VCA. Pre and post care and education were fantastic. We recently went to them again for second opinion on a diagnostic procedure for our cat, Craisin, that would have costed us 5 times more elsewhere. We love their entire caring team, who are kind and responsive. The team also text to follow-up on your pet after each visit!!! We will be transferring all of our pets here with VCA.

Went for grooming. I have two Minature Golden Doodles. Brandi is the person I had groom both. She is spectacular. My original groomer moved away and I hunted Brandi down because she filled in when mine was unavailable and did a great job. Definitely a person to use if you are looking for a groomer.

We took our dog there because he was sick. We ended up having to put him to sleep. The doctor and staff were so supportive and gave us all the time we needed to say good bye. They took care of the cremation service. Just felt how much the staff cared.

Love everyone at the office: Vet techs, office front personnel, and Veterinarians (especially Dr. Sund who is wonderful) who all have worked as a supportive team for my shy puppy. I cannot say enough nice things about how sweet and everyone has been. Best vet office I have ever been in. Quality is what I care about and not price of services, which I find are transparent and reasonable. I work in the healthcare field and know quality needs to have a cost to continue and provide providers with the most up-to-date resources.

This is a terrific veterinary animal hospital! I tale both of my Australian Shepherds to them and I think they are in better health than me! Definitely recommend!!

I thought they were awesome. They took a picture of her once she got behind closed doors. It was Piper's first visit since we moved and she needed to see them. They were very professional and took care of her needs and my concerns and worries. Thanks Ladies..

This is the best vet clinic Ive been to; they're very thorough and explain exactly why they want certain tests/treatment & what it will do. They took great care of my cats and the Veterinarians seem to really care about their patients. The rest of the staff were very helpful and welcoming as well.

I have never been to a Vets office that was so helpful and thorough. DrStuve is a Boss and I always hesitated to bring him in for any others. Today however in an emergency they stepped up and sprung into action. And that's when we met DR Unruh and my goodness she is AMAZING!!! SO efficient and helpful. Thay care so much. Thank you so much!

Wonderful caring staff. I only needed a nail trim for our new furbaby but had trouble getting him in a carrier. They were flexible on the appointment time until I could get him in. Then they were done in a matter of minutes, which gave them all time to gush over him. I highly recommend VCA Olathe.

My family had taken our past hamster and past rats to this hospital as they were the closest vet that would take exotic pets with the best reviews. It was the best decision we made regarding our animals. I’ve had to euthanize both my rat Maggie and our hamster. The staff was always so sweet about it and have sent cards; they are also so patient with giving you the time you need to say goodbyes. I recommended this place to my friends with exotic pets and have heard nothing but positive things from them.

Truly amazed by the care and concern by the staff. They go above and beyond. The vet Dr Kelly Unruh, is excellent in providing great care friendly and answers all my questions for our new Kitten Niko. Very impressive for our first visit. Thanks to all of you for providing great care.

Always have a good experience here as far as services, only things I don't like is how high the prices are here compared to other vets in the area that are just as good. The other thing I don't like is they change vets so much u might b meeting a new vet every visit and thats wat made me change vets. I needed a vet that was not here today and gone the next. the services were always done efficiently

Taking my pup here since when he was a puppy and that staff, vet tech and doctors are caring, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Claypool, Dr. Unruh and Dr. Stevie are usually the ones we go to.

I almost have liked all the doctors we’ve consulted there so far with the exception of Dr. Emmy Sund. Somehow I wasn’t able to trust her diagnosis as much this one time we consulted her.

I love this place!! They vets and staff love what they do and it shows! We are a dog family!!

We had an emergency with our chinchilla and when no one else could fit us in they did. The staff and doctor was super nice and knew just how to handle our pebbles. Two weeks later we are all better thanks to the care received.
We have to drive 40 minutes to get there past numerous other options for care. The first trip was made out of necessity but after the service we received this will be our veterinarian of choice.

Dr. Claypool has been outstanding to work with. She was able to take excellent care of my diabetic cat and spent plenty of time with me showing me how to handle his diabetes care. She shows a lot of compassion and is so caring toward Smokey. I feel completely comfortable with her diagnosis and care. Very happy I came the VCA, and met Dr. Claypool.

I have taken my pets here twice now and both times i have been treated with complete courtesy and respect! The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful and the vets always take their time to assess and my animals. Unfortunately one of my kittens passed away at my last visit but the staff was comforting and made it as easy as possible. I didn't even have an appointment but they fit me in immediately when I got there. It's been 1 week and I miss my kitty dearly but I received a beautiful gift from the vet in the mail. It brought tears to my eyes and meant so much to me that the vet was so kind and thoughtful. Thank you Olathe Animal Hospital! I highly recommend!
