Church of the Resurrection West

This is a welcoming, family-friendly church with a laid back environment. Drop your young and elementary children off at Kids COR (Sunday school), head to grab a coffee or tea, and sit down and enjoy the service. There’s a wonderful band. The location pastors are fun and delightful. And then the sermon is usually broadcasted in from the Leawood location where Pastor Adam Hamilton delivers the best sermons that leave you with a deeper understanding of the Word. He is an incredible and talented speaker. This is a great church for families of all ages, and I highly recommend it!

We have been longtime COR members, but started coming to RezWest regularly in February 2022. I have two small kids so we wanted a smaller church where we could get to know other families. We have done exactly that! I love everyone who helps in kids COR, they treat my children as one of their own every Sunday and Wednesday night at small groups. My family and I really enjoy it here. Pastor Bill is awesome!

Fantastic atmosphere and great people. I grew up in a different religion, but never felt like I got anything out of going to church each week. When I found Church of the Resurrection, I found my home. Every week I leave service rejuvenated with a renewed understanding of my faith.

Today was our first time visiting the church. We felt very invited, beginning with checking out KidsCOR. A genuine and friendly environment for our two children. Also, the worship was subtle, yet engaging! Jason Gant really has a heart for Jesus, and is a wonderful leader. We will be back!

This is my church home. Everyone is so welcoming and loving. Great programs for all family members. This is a church for the non religious and nominally religious to grow in the love of Christ. Check it out!!!
