Ramsey's Burgers

Yum! Service is quick and polite. They have two tables inside and three outside plus a drive thru. Everything is very tasty and made quick and fresh. The onion rings, chicken sandwich and chicken tenders all seem homemade and not frozen. I would love if they had grass fed beef and sourced ingredients locally. So happy to have found this place!

The first time I visit I asked for a pup cup with the fries. The pup cup was so cute with the added biscuits on top, my puppy loved it! The next time we went the pup cup was less decked out but it was still as nice of an experience as the first time. Me and my mom love the fries, they're quite tasty.

Excellent gluten free chicken nuggets and fries. They have gluten free buns for burgers. I had a Carmel apple shake. It was great. My wife (no allergies) had the chicken sandwich and onion rings. She said the chicken sandwich was on par with chik-fil-a. The onion rings were super dark but not burnt. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will add this to our normal rotation of gluten free options in KC.

Pros:
1) Quick
2) Very good fries (hot, crispy, and large when fresh)
3) Fairly varied menu for a burger place
4) Overall flavor pretty good (the burger patties themselves are somewhat bland)
5) Portion size is good

Cons:
1) Fairly expensive ($8 ish for a burger, $4 ish for fries - $30 ish for two people with comboes)
2) We ordered pickles added to our burgers, but didn’t get any pickles
3) Burger patty fairly bland (overall burger flavor good though)

Mmmmm. That's really all that needs to be said. This burger was huge and filling and delicious just like a home-cooked burger should be but the best part is I didn't have to cook it 😉.

We went during "happy hour" 2-5 pm where the burgers were half price. The staff was more than friendly. They checked on us frequently, delivered our order to the small dining room table instead of calling out a number, asked if they could do anything else to make our experience better. The counter server patiently explained the many choices available when told this was our first time at this place. I felt like family without the drama..

Burger was juicy and full of flavor, onion rings were the best I’ve ever had, fries were fresh and hot and full of flavor, cookies and cream milk shake brought it all together with a great finish, and just when you think the food does all the talking the workers were some of the nicest most welcoming people I’ve encountered in the food industry. They noticed I had my dog with me who I had just taken to the vet and made her very happy with a big cup of whipped cream. Overall amazing experience 10/10 would recommend taking the trip over there.

Man, this place is fantastic! Everything from the cleanliness, to the incredibly friendly wait staff, to the great food. My son is a Celiac and they have a dedicated fryer for gluten free fries and nuggets. They also have a gluten free bun option for hamburgers. My picky son really likes the food. Its hard to find good gluten free chicken nuggets. The rest of the family really enjoyed our food as well.

We will definitely be back! I can't say enough about the staff. We walked in at 745 as they were closing at 8 and the staff was very welcoming regardless. The gentleman who took our order went well out of his way for his. Great place. Highly recommended!!

Trying to support small businesses sure paid off this time. Delicious, flavorful burger done right. The toppings added to the burger rather than take away from it. The fries are so good with the added seasoning. The prices are comparable to restaurants, not fast food. If you're going through drive thru please shut off your engine to wait because it's all fresh made.

1st time experience. Didn’t understand the website so thought I was getting my husband a burger called the Impossible burger. Turned out it was a non beef burger which he gave to me. What scrumptious flavor. Will have to say unless you choose vegan its pricy but worth it. My husband ordered a double burger. Amazing except condiments a little too much. Burgers are huge worth the price. Fries great and very reasonable. Welcome to Martin City a place of great food.

The food is great and they keep adding new items. I'm excited that they added a happy hour on burgers too. Whoever hires and trains the employees needs to provide a master class to other fast food places. Everyone here is so friendly and professional. It's so refreshing and it's a sign of good management practices.

Any review that is not 5 stars must be someone who doesn’t know hamburgers like myself.

Place is so DAMN GOOD!!! Burger was 🔥 and the onion rings were great. Highly recommend and will be back. Definitely into my top burgers around town

Great burgers. The first time we went got a double...single is plenty. You get your choice of cheese. We used drive thru. Realize it will take a few. Cooked while you wait but worth it. They even have grilled onion for a condiment. Bun was great, soft and fresh. We also got onion rings which we both liked. A slightly sweet batter. Give them a try. Friendly staff.

Super courteous and friendly staff. Did drive thru and got 2 burgers and 2 onion rings. There was a bit of a wait, but it was piping hot and fresh, so worth it. They even offered me a water while I waited. Very good burgers and the beer battered rings were delicious. Will be back!

Best burger I've had in ages! Hand cut fries, home dipped o rings, and awesome shakes made to order! Also everyday 2-5 is half price burgers. Ya gotta try it!

Luuuvvvvvveeeeeee dis place!!!! 110% satisfaction. The workers are so LOVEABLE, my first trip I got an extra burger and onion rings! The portions are awesome! 75 cent cones! Beats the heck outta McDonald’s! And the quality is no less than A+, all served fresh! With crispy fries and dirt cheap prices!! I’m definitely going to be telling all my friends and family! This is capitalism done right! Expect many more visits in the future!

Martin City has always been a place of wonder for me. I don't get out of the house much, but when I do, I love going to new places. I've only really been to the Fiorella's there before - but that all changed this Fall. Ever since trying the coffee shop right across the street - which you should definitely go to! - i've been curious about this little burger place. And after a trip to Santa's Bake Shop, this was a fantastic dinner.

For what I assumed was just a fast food place, it had amazing quality. I went there with family, so we had a variety to try. My double with cheddar was fresh, and tasted like it was made from scratch. Alongside the cheese curds and onion rings, that alone would be perfect. But trying the mint chocolate shake, I fell in love.

The shakes are blended smooth; not too thick, but not too thin. The chocolate is rich, and the mint isn't overpowering. Perfect alongside the cheese curds - which tasted beer battered! I can't get enough of them - which is great, since they give you generous amounts in one order! And something really unique about the experience was the marinara; it tasted like it was made from fresh tomatoes, and went really well with everything. I was thoroughly impressed!

I definitely recommend Ramsey's if you're in the mood for a good burger. Quality made-from-scratch food in a quaint little building feels like it matches the Martin City vibe; I can't wait to go back again and try their fries!
