I recently had the pleasure of dining at the 801 Chophouse, and it was, without a doubt, one of the best steak experiences I've ever had. The quality of the steak was simply unparalleled - cooked to perfection, each bite was a delightful journey of flavors.

But the excellence didn't stop at the food. Their wine selection was impressive, featuring a range of choices that perfectly complemented the meal. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just enjoy a good glass, you'll be pleasantly surprised by their curated selections.

The service at the 801 Chophouse was phenomenal. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in ensuring a great dining experience. They provided recommendations that enhanced our meal and attended to our every need with a smile.

O.M.G idk why it took so long for me to come here, but I absolutely loved ever moment of this experience. Robert to really good care of us which such good grace and very memorable personality ✨ And I found Nick is the artist behind the talented Napkin folding (I would for you to teach how you do the tree folding) but down to the cuisines because this wasn't food baby. I had the most delicious oysters Rockefeller 😋 EVER. Nothing is compared to it, I swear I could 2 dozen easily but I had 6 I mean just perfect. Then they slap christmas joy in my mouth with their Steak tartar OMG heavenly delicious and to wash it down I had a beautiful yet elegant grapefruit cocktail that was like a ribbon bow tie on the appetizers. Just when you think your done I order the bone in prime rib medium well with hash the presentation was almost to beautiful to eat but the smell coming from makes you wanna eat it like a caveman lol. I definitely left with leftovers that was package nicely for me and husband we was celebrating 🍾 my birthday in which they out it one the menu for me I even got a happy birthday song from Robert..he was awesome definitely have make this my to go #1 spot

Hands down one of THE BEST places for HH. If you are lucky and happen to snag a spot in the bar, go ahead, order everything on the HH menu. The bartenders and staff are so friendly and kind. The food was magnificent. Sooo good. The crab cakes were amazing. It was possibly the best ones I’ve had. The crabmeat was plentiful and huge.

I had dinner in this restaurant for a friends birthday. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staffs were super friendly. So many amazing stuff to choice from. Since we were a big group, I had a chance to try a few different dish and all of them were tasty. The salmon was my absolute favorite. It was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. This is without a doubt one of the best high end restaurant in Kansas City area.

Our server was solid and knowledgeable of the days specials. Went with the scallops, which has a nice texture and blissful flavor! The sautéed spinach is divine! 🤗

I’m delighted to share that my experience at 801 Chophouse Leawood was exceptional. The highlight for me was the delightful espresso martini, expertly crafted and bursting with rich flavor. The attentive service, elegant ambiance, and overall culinary excellence make this establishment deserving of a five-star rating.

Didn’t take photos, too distracted by the food. Sourdough bread started was hot, moist and delicious. Crab cakes and oysters to start were very fresh. Bone in dry aged ribeye with the creamy pepper sauce was one of the better steaks I’ve ever had. The highlight of the night was the sticky pudding. Holy dang was it great.

Our family has never had such an amazing dining experience!! From booking reservations, thanks, Austin, to being placed in a private room, total class all the way. Thanks to Austin and Chris for their loving hospitality. Now for Vito. Best waiter we have ever had. He treated our family like his own. We loved him so much! ❤ Our Mom died in March and we were having a celebration of life for her. She would've Loved 801!!! Thank you all again for an absolutely wonderful time. Vito, we love you, and you were pure gold. Sorry we overtipped you!!!!! We would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks to everyone at 801 for such a memorable experience! Love 💘 ❤ 😍 you all

If I could give 10 stars I would! Wonderful experience from the time we pulled up to park till the time we left! Madison was our amazing server which did a stellar job! We will absolutely be back!

Our first time here last night and won't be the last! Ajay was out server and he was awesome. We had our 5 year old with us and Ajay gave him a complimentary plate of fruits which were delicious and fresh. We had steaks, prime rib and lobster Mac N cheese. Great dining experience and atmosphere.

Excellent steaks! Service is prompt and welcoming. It's more of a relaxed atmosphere where a nice business casual or fancy night out clothing both work. Highly recommend the oysters! You could cut the prime rib with a fork if you were so inclined!!

We had a party of 12 last night. We ordered everything from scallops to lamb and every kind of steak! Each person ordered a different side dish and shared family style. Literally...every single bite was delicious! The chocolate soufflé was divine! The service was impeccable! We will definitely be back!

Ajay was our waited and he was PHENOMENAL! I cannot speak more highly than he was spectacular I am in such awe! Went with his recommendations specifically and it was TOP KNOTCH! Steak was insanely flavored and perfect and dessert was superb! We will return with him only as our waiter!

We celebrated Johnny’s 35th Birthday tonight at the #1 Top Steakhouse in all of Kansas! Special thanks to Austin, Vido and Seth for making our dinner event super spectacular! The Service, food and ambiance was above and beyond perfection! Plus you never know when you’ll see your favorite Chief or Royal player here on any given night! Our 801 Chophouse experience was absolutely top notch from start to finish.

The moment we walked in we were greeted individually by each employee we saw. Once seated, our server gave us excellent suggestions and descriptions of drinks, apps and specials. The ambiance is dark but warm. The food was served in perfect times and was oh so delicious. You do pay out for such service and quality but it was worth it for a special occasion. We cannot wait until our next visit!

A couple of our favorites from our visit include the New Fashioned cocktail, crab cake appetizer, and any of the aged steaks.

The Beef and Pork were incredible. The seafood was what I would expect at this level of restaurant.

Service was over the top good. The server makes sure you know what you're getting, and helps you adjust your order.

Great high quality food, excellent service and easy parking next door. What do you need more to life?! :)

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food was excellent and the experience was like no other. We met out of town friends who brought two littles. Our wait staff not only took care of our needs but also that of our tiny guests! They had a fruit plate for the children, took them to visit the lobsters and subtracted the mac&cheese when one little wasn’t exactly please with it and brought extra fries for our little guest who was much more pleased with the fries. The food was OUTSTANDING!!! The experience was amazing from start to finish. Thank you so much for the amazing experience!!!

Tried the off the menu wagyu filet steak, broiled at 1700 degrees. I have never, ever had a better steak. The steak was cooked to medium and was able to be cut with a fork, okay almost. Bela, our Hungarian waiter was fantastic showing our party of 6 all the cuts of meat even those off the menu special cuts. Also had the French green beans and sautéed spinach, all fantastic. Had some merlot and a Hungarian wine dessert along with a taste of the following desserts: pistachio,, key lime, carrot cake, and creme brulee all very tasty.
