Heritage Park

Bummed they are currently drudging the lake and took out the island and silo. Still fun for kids and a great park for walking a dog, lots of fields and plenty of playgrounds. Lots of shelters to rent for parties and golf and various sport fields.

Beautiful park with lots to explore. From horse trails and jumps, shelters and fishing on the lake. This place has a lot to offer. Tons of walking trails, outdoor workout machines, playground areas, disc golf course, and lots of fishing spots. If you find yourself looking for a relaxing and beautiful area to venture through stop by here for a fun filled outdoor experience. You can't pick a wrong location here as every part is as beautiful as the last. I will be bringing my kayak here next time I come to visit this awesome park.

Love going for walks at this park! There are multiple paths to walk along and the lake is always a great spot to watch the sunset!

Very beautiful! Good for short and long walks. KCRide offers bikes to ride for rental which is wonderful! The sunset and sunrise is magnificent to see from lakeside.

My husband took our 2 Goldens to the off leash park while I walked our 2 Shih tzus on leash around the park. This is a beautiful and clean park!

Nice flat trails without any gradients. Very scenic. If you are looking for shaded trails, then this might not be your place.

Great park for kids! The park features a stocked pond, dog park, asphalt trails and frisbee golf. Bring your picnic basket and enjoy your afternoon at the many benches or shelters. This park is very clean.

Very calm and nice location for people to spend time, walking with the pets, enjoy nature. I go check on different species of birds that come there.

Great place to walk, ride bikes and even rollerblade! 1 full lap around the park is 3.73 miles! It’s my new favorite walking place!

One nice small park hidden in South Olathe. Sometimes the park rangers are bit aggressive towards people. Other than that pretty nice place.

Docks are wheelchair accessible, one ramp has a rather large drop onto the docks so avoid the long ramp. Didn't really explore much of the park so I can't comment on the fields but the workout equipment was in good condition and the grass was recently mowed.

Great parks and a very high quality disc golf course. Would recommend this for any park needs you might have. Also has a very good dog park and it was lightly trafficked while I was there. Includes a ball golf course as well. Huge park so make sure you have directions before you try to locate something inside of it.

Great place for a variety of things to enjoy.
Plenty of things to keep adults and kids busy.
Be aware, if you plan on fishing at the lake you will need a Johnson County fishing licence. You can get it at Bass Pro Shop.

Beautiful place work paths for walking and cycling. A nice lake for fishing and kyaking. Dog park. Football and baseball fields. Plentiful shelters for picnic events.

Heritage Park Golf Course is the best shape it's been in in the last four or 5 years. Go play it!

Really a great place to take pictures, fishing, picnic, and spend time with family, oh plus the golf course, a dog area too.

Nature in the burbs. Great place to walk, ride, fish, play sports, golf, and let your pup run free.

Absolutely perfect park. I love letting Susan off the leash and watching her just RUN! Other guests at the park have very friendly, well-trained dogs. Never had a bad experience here.
