Was in a jam this week after I installed some new steering components in my Jeep JK. Kept getting death wobble even after reinstalling those new parts just to make sure it was somewhat dialed in, less professional alignment. I looked around and saw some good reviews on Stompers and decided to give them a call. Found them to be supper professional on first contact and they understood my urgency, as this is my DD. They went out of their way to fit me in that same day and not only consult with me about the rig, but actually did the work the same day. And folks, it was true consulting...Jay could have just reinstalled those new parts again, given me an alignment and sent me out the door, but he found the root issue which was being masked by the old parts - my balljoints were toast! Found them to be professional, transparent and this Jeep rides so nice now - feels like a brand new rig! Thanks again Stompers and see you soon for some other projects on the TJ.

I brought my 04 TJ in with some handling and alignment issues, Jay looked at the problem and was able to fix it after other shops told me nothing was wrong with it. The prices are fair and I'll be back if I ever need anything else down to my Jeep. Great shop !

I'm from out of town and had this shop inspect the underside chassis of my jeep. I was hoping it would be good to go, but that's a perfect world. Well the owner found a few safety issues and I went ahead and got some of them fixed. He gave me good advice for the other issues. They were fast and friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this shop for jeep owners around the county here if you're in town.

I’ve taken my ‘98 XJ here several times and the service and experience is unmatched. They are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in everything Jeep, and they stand behind their work. It’s coming up on a year since I’ve had Stomper lift my XJ and I love it. I was getting an oil change at a shop closer to home recently and that mechanic brought up Jay’s name (owner at Stomper), talking very highly of him, without knowing that’s who had done the suspension work on mine. Jay has built a reputation, and it was a nice confirmation that he’s the best.

I've taken my jeep to Jay multiple times now. I'm extremely happy with the quick and reliable service, fair pricing and was able to get my jeep in at a moment's notice. He's up front about the cost and took his time to explain to me what was going on with it. I wouldn't hesitate to take my jeep back to him. Great guy, great shop.

AWESOME! Focuses on quality, customer service and satisfaction. Both Jay and Melissa are extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way to make sure they understand what you would like to do with your jeep. They do not force anything on you and are willing to discuss the positive and negatives on any idea and do shoot straight on their experience with many different manufacturers and installs. These folks are genuine and you will not want anyone else working on your jeep. I'm really enjoying my jeep as well (2011 JK, wheels, tires, lift).

Man is very knowledgeable and from what I've seen he's very thorough.

I had my own Jeep Wrangler serviced here a couple of months ago. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. It was a work day for me and I had several upgrades and repairs scheduled so rather than secure transportation back to my office, I asked if there was a place I could set up my laptop in the waiting area and there absolutely was. So I didn't miss any time at work and my Jeep was given it's much needed maintenance all in the same visit. This will be my destination for all things Wrangler. 👍

I will never take my jeep to any other shop! These guys are the most honest, fair priced shop you will ever encounter! They are always willing to help and discuss options and treat you right! They care about your safety both on and off the trails and thats a quality attribute!

I was fortunate to run across Jay at Stomper when I posted a question about my Jeep and someone tagged him for an answer. I did not know him, or never had heard of stomper until 2015. He took quite a bit of his time to answer a whole lot of questions (never making me feel dumb for asking) and then offered more of his time at his shop to go through some things with me in person about my Jeep. I am about an hour away, so I was very impressed by this. Honestly, I thought it was special treatment at the time because I lived on the other side of KC, now I know it's just how he rolls.

A year later now, I could NOT be a bigger fan of Jay and his team at Stomper. Any time I have a question, need help, or make a change with my Jeep, Jay is the first person I call and Stomper is where I get all my work done, end of story.

In a day and age where good people and good service are lost in the shuffle, I hope Stomper and Jay get the recognition they deserve and its why I am taking the time to make this review.

I cannot say enough good about Stompers!! I went to ANOTHER 4x4 shop and was told that they would have to switch out the whole front end of my Jeep JK. Decided to go to Stompers for a second opinion and that was the best decision I could have made. Jay did a free diagnostic for my "death wobble" and then spent about 15 to 20 minutes walking me through the problems and teaching me how to fix it myself!!! I was so impressed that he took the time to help me! It's so refreshing to deal with someone who's honest!!! They went out of their way to help me! I will be taking all my future business to Stompers!

Jay does great work! Very thorough and looks out for any other issues that may be of concern. He's put new gears, a front driveshaft and I've purchased multiple other items for my jku. Highly recommended for any of your jeep needs.

Stomper was great. Had a death wobble from all of the modifications that had been done to a TJ I bought. Jay took the time to go through my old Jeep and make it better the new.

Jay and Marissa are terrific. My first jeep and the work that I had done was perfect. Jay's recommendations look outstanding on my new JL. Anything Jeep, Stomper Off-Road is where to get it done.

We as Jeep people are pretty lucky to have a customer focused Jeep shop in Kansas City. Strictly Jeeps as they actually know what they are doing. 2 lifts on JK's were done here and lots of work on my 1981 CJ..... 5 Stars all the way.

Jay and his Team are the people to work with if you want things done right. He takes his time with you and is completely into what he does. Which is JEEPS! He is Marine as well...like myself. I look forward to my next project with this Devil Dog.
