Golden Palace Chinese Restaurant

Tried this place for the first time tonight and was very pleased. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We had the chicken with rice noodles and cashew shrimp. Both were amazing.

This place was an excellent lunch spot. I had a spicy pork dish that I had never heard of before, Yu Hsiang (I think), and it was delicious. Lunches are less than 7$ and they include soup, rangoon, egg roll, and rice with the entree. There's plenty of food on the plate. The staff was very welcoming and attentive but not intrusive. I will definitely eat here again. And again. ;p

Well we did love this place until we spent $40 on some Tyson chicken patties. Pretty authentic Chinese I guess.
Went back and food was perfect!!!! They have redeemed themselves!!!!!!!

Very nice family-style Chinese restaurant in Olathe. Food is excellent and prices are very reasonable. I have never had a bad meal here. This is my go-to Chinese joint!

We just moved to the area. I'm a bit picky when it comes to Chinese food. This place didn't disappoint. We tried the sampler appetizer, sesame chicken, and the egg drop soup. Everything was ready on time as expected when I placed the order online. The food was fresh and flavorful. I was pleased with everything we tried. We will definitely be back! When I went to this Chinese restaurant they had dine in. The food was great but there was only one server. Overall it was a very good restaurant to eat at. The server was very kind and brought me a drink when I was out immediately. It took about 4 minutes to make the crab Rangoon, but that is because there was 1 cook but that's ok the food is worth the wait

Great food! I have been going here for over 30 years. Big portions low prices, lunch special is the best bang for your buck. Food is always fresh. Will continue to come back for more!

We decided to come here on a whim and we were absolutely not disappointed. Prompt service, the place was extremely clean, even the water glasses were pristine. And the food...the food was the best Chinese-American food I've had ever in the KC area. The combo fried rice had fresh ingredients. The shrimp was flavorful, the chicken and beef was delicious and tender.

Very flavorful and delicious. Tried the crab rangoon, spring rolls, and Mongolian beef. Everything was very tasty! I’ll definitely order again.

We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was hot, fresh, arrived quickly, and was nicely seasoned. The lunch specials were a good value, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased and look forward to going back!

I order from here pretty regularly whenever we don't feel like cooking. It's very conveniently located, and the food is always really good. They're also fast, which is greatly appreciated. I'll keep coming back!

Food here is incredible (in my opinion) and is very well priced. The lunch special from 11am to 3 pm is great, with a full plate along with soup, rice, and your choice of crab rangooon or spring rolls. Most lunch special items are $6-8 and normal menu items are around $8-10. I go here at least once a week and reccomend it to anybody who is nearby.

Tips: If you want to go here consistently make sure to tip every time. Not only is it courteous but you also get food much quicker once they start to remember you.

Update: I've been going here for 2 years and everything I've said stands true. This is one of the best restaurants I've been to and highly reccomend it to everyone.

Wow! Very nice restaurant. Very friendly. Quick service. I had green beans w shrimp. Absolutely delicious. I’m from out of town and live in Houston, a culinary capital. But this place is a hidden gem. Go here. You’ll be glad you did.

We went on Christmas Day. Even though they were very busy, they seated us promptly, the service was cheerful and personable, and the food was delicious and nicely presented. Most of the food was common to other Chinese restaurants, but there were several dishes I hadn't seen before and there were pages and pages of dishes to choose from. They were also reasonably priced, with most entrees under $10.

Golden Palace was our first meal in our new home when we moved to Olathe three years ago and has been a favorite in our household ever since. We frequent 2-3 times a month and love the lunch special!

My favorite menu items are imperial beef, sesame chicken, cashew chicken, any fried rice or lo mein. Huge portions and very reasonable prices!

This is literally my new favorite Chinese place in the area. The quality is amazing- the overall taste is delicious and they are fast. My only complaint is portion size, they don't give as much as other Chinese restaurants. Overall, that's not enough of an issue to not give them 5 stars.

We found this small restaurant because a lot of other Chinese restaurants were closed on Monday's. I'm so glad we did, it is our new favorite Chinese restaurant. They were very friendly, helpful, and flexible. We had a special "no garlic" diet and they were able to accommodate us on all of the choices without losing flavor. Our 10 year olds can be finiky and they ate most of everything we ordered. We had the family four course meal and it was great, a lot of food, but great. The hot tea was wonderful. We will definitely be returning again and again.

My lunch experience at this family-run restaurant was exceptional. The chicken with mixed veggies lunch ($6.00) was ready shortly after I ordered at the table, and included choice of soup (the hot and sour was delish), wonton strips, generous portions of tasty chicken, a good assortment of veggies, good fried rice, a delicious spring roll, and a crab rangoon with plenty of creamy goodness. What a deal!

I stopped by after my class for an early dinner. The food is delicious and a perfect pick-me-up after a 7 hour class!! Though you can't go wrong with any menu item, I'm very fond of the hot and sour soup!
