Youngstedts Chanhassen Car Wash & Detail Center

Recently got the Exterior Detail done on my Black Edge ST. It was covered with hard water spots (I’m leasing it & should’ve still protected the paint with a paint sealant, forgot to do it 🤦🏻‍♂) and the Youngstedts’s crew did an awesome job getting them out, and making it shine! Well worth it and highly recommend their Services! 👏 They have a great deal on monthly car washes as well.

Update: Had a call with Jake on my past experience and he was a true professional and transparent about the behind the scene challenges they are working through. I appreciate the way he handled the feedback as an opportunity to improve. He asked if I would give them another they, so I did. The second experience was nothing like the first and exceeded my expectations. Thank you for the time and your professionalism! I will be coming back to this location for future washes.

By far the worst car wash I have even had.
My first time going there so I got the premium $25 car wash to test it out. The whole back of my car looked like it wasn’t even touched. The towels they use to dry the car left lint all over my car. The tire shine, if you can call it that was horrible. All around I think this car wash is a ripoff! Had to wash the car myself after. What a waste!

Lots of different wash/price options — I’ve only been twice but the two people who work took the payment were super nice.

I like that they give you a real (non-disposable) wrap for wiping down your car! You just dispose of it in a bucket at the (free-to-use-with-purchase-of-wash) vacuums! The reusable towel might be a con if you wanted to just drive off right away after making it through the wash..
*careful with them vacuums—they’ve got PIWER! Sucked up a bracelet by mistake (cheap bracelet with no sentimental value luckily), happened so fast—and there’s no getting things back once that vacuum gets it!

Last comment: love that there’s two people at the end of the wash conveyor belt who towel down your car to get the excess water off! (They do open your doors — while the car is moving along the conveyor belt — which startled me the first time so make sure nothing is in your door that might spill if the door opened…like the forgotten McDonalds fries wedged between the car seat and the car door 🤦🏼‍♂)

All in all tho, I liked this car wash. Had some spender options but there cheaper choices are no more expensive than getting one done at a speedway or holiday car wash

10/10 recommend. Bought a car off of craigslist that was filthy on the inside, and they made it look brand new!

WOW!! My car was DIRTY due to having a child, large dog, and moving to a new house—plus it’s getting old and has been very well used. Chris was the detailer who worked on my car, and he did an amazing job. He was courteous and answered all of my questions. My car was done the same day, and it now looks like I haven’t had a child or dog riding around in it, haha! No dog hair, no crumbs, no stickiness in the cup holders, no salt and gravel on the floor, and everything washed and cleaned. I couldn’t be happier!

Visited here after my white car was covered in seeds/pollen from a tree. The pollen didn’t come off after the first pass, so the gentlemen working asked me to go through the wash again and made absolutely sure it was all gone. They did a great job, even though I’d only paid for the most basic car wash. 5 star service! Thank you :)

We have used Youngstedt’s Chanhassen Car Wash had Detail Center for years and always very pleased. It took a 6 weeks to be able to get our cleaned but was worth it; the car is squeaky clean. Ger communicated by text which was very helpful, and I I was able to address a few things this way. We will use them again.

With three kids and a lab, our car was in need for a good detail. Youngstedts made it happen and exceeded our expectations. They cleaned every nook and cranny, top to bottom . There was no dog hair and no crumbs when we picked it up. It looked amazing! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!!

Great service. Great quality wash! Great family deals as well. I got $5 on the 2nd car. The people are all friendly and helpful. They’ll give you damp rags to wipe down the interior while you go through. At the end they open your doors and wipe the edges.

I love this place. I like that they give me a rag for the inside before I start to the car wash. I liked it there's people there to hand dry off my car and especially open the doors and dry off under the doors. They are very thorough. And I also love that I got December free when I signed up for November

Absolutely love this car wash! Every time I come to town (I’m from halfway across the country) to visit mom and dad, this is the car wash I come to. They make sure and get ALL the bugs off the mirrors and front end! I’d give them more stars if I could!

Fast friendly service. Drive up, pick your wash level and pay and then drive up and the attendant guides your left wheel in the channel. Leave in neutral and hands off the wheel and the conveyor takes you through. They towel off your car and then you can use the vacuums outside for free, self serve. Quick way to get your car clean

I always get a professional job done on cleaning my car. I like the convenience of the free vacuums. It's nice that they give you a damp rag to wipe down your interior. If I'm ever not happy with the wash, they redo whatever needs to be done to get it to my satisfaction.

The Youngstedt's staff was very helpful in coordinating the two services I needed (car detailing and tire change out) even though they were at two different locations. They even offered to drive my car from one to the other!

We have a very naughty dog who had done her business in the car and the whole car smelled like urine. After the detail it looked (and smelled) like a new car - couldn't be happier! Youngstedts even gave me their current special for 25% off and I didn't even ask - great service!

We've got two kids, our car was a mess! I was surprised with their great customer service and actually having a clean vehicle for once! Would definitely recomend to anyone with a dirty vehicle.

Was in a pinch in needing the interior of my car detailed, and worked with Ger (on-site mgr) who squeezed me into their busy schedule. Delivered exactly as promised and job result was outstanding. Highly recommend!
