Hale Library

The improvements that have been made since the fire are really impressive. This was an amazing library before, but now it is a wonderful mix of modern and historic. Everything you would need to excel academically is here.

I probably haven't been to many libraries in the US, but Hale Library is the best, as far as I can tell.

The ambience is tranquil, the aura is perfect, allowing you the peace to hear even your most quiet thoughts.

Hale Library provides group spaces for group works, and individual spaces for you to be alone and work on anything you intend to. Additionally, you don't need to go too far for refreshments; there's a snacks and coffee shop within the library, and a handful of vending machines that supply refreshments.

The Library is complete with modern technology: access to laptops, access to the internet, access to a recording studio (if you want to record a song or make a podcast episode).

Love this Library, they provide a diverse set of study environments ranging from individual cubicles, computer desks, conference rooms and open study desks. The great room on 3rd floor is quiet and quite spacious with high ceilings. They have a state of the art book storing system where you can deliver the content to where you're standing. Quiet rooms are strictly enforced to provide a serious and focused study environment. Those looking to improve their grades should frequent this facility in what it has to offer.

It was pretty great before…the incident. We'll see how it looks when everything's fully opened again. That long hallway in the basement was pretty creepy, in my opinion. The alcoves for studying on the fourth floor (or is it the third?) were nice. I did some homework for Calculus III: Revenge of the Sith there on at least one occasion.

Hale Library helped me secure a book through the Interlibrary Loan Service easily and quickly. Friendly staff and a fun coffee shop in the lower level. Enjoy.

Love this library. It had everything! It is five stories of massive new technology and innovative equipment.

Beautiful newly renovated library. Lots of seating for both individuals and groups. There are power outlets everywhere!

Hale Library is closed through at least fall 2019 due to a catastrophic fire on May 22, 2018.
