Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Best grocery selection and good quality products. Fantastic bakery! Clean and welcoming! Has a post office inside, a Starbucks and a team store. Extensive candy selection and premade meals. A+++

I absolutely love the store, my wife and I frequent it. However, I absolutely despise the red head, young, ravenous, young lady in Pharmacy. Her name starts with an E but I can't quite remember her name and my good for nothing wife doesn't remember either. She was extremely rude and dismissive when I asked her questions about my prescription. She was extremely rude towards other customers as well. We walked up to the counter, my ugly wife and I, and we asked to be helped. At first she didn't acknowledge us. I asked again and she said "Sorry what? Speak louder old man." I said "Excuse me? I'm just herr for my prescription. No need to be so rude." She rolled her eyes and walked away after that. Another lovely employee had to help me. I've heard talk from the other employees that she is also very rude to them also! How embarrassing! This was such a fine establishment but I have no choice than to take my business elsewhere.

This grocery store is awesome way bigger than it looks from the outside. The employees are very very Nice and courteous. The store was clean. The restrooms in the store were great and Clean. The bakery area is huge.
And The meat department And the fish area were very clean. If you need something this store probably had it.

Very friendly atmosphere, very clean store, associates very helpful and kind. The Deli and Bakery have delicious foods with a variety of different foods. Plenty of scooters for people who need assistance with getting around in the store. I recommend this store to any and everyone to go and check it out.

Waited for somebody to wait on me for about 10 minutes to pick up food. Asked for the chicken dinner for 4and was told it would be another 30 minutes til the chicken would be done. Ever heard of a clock and dropping the food so it's done on time?Obviously if your going to advertise your going to have something at a certain time you should have it. Management doesn't know what it's doing at this store. This isn't the first maybe the district manager doesn't know and/doesn't care. Get some big biscuits and stop giving people tiny dinner rolls ever heard of faults advertising.
Update, I got a hold of Javier who is the manager over the dining area. He did a great job of correcting the problem and making it right for me. Really appreciated

Great store. Great variety of things. Great location. One of my favorite store in Manhattan. When I go there, cashier's check were very smoothly as well. So convenient! I've never had an issues when I visited the store. Vegetables and fruits section is always clean and looks great. So many variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. I like their fresh seafoods counter. I could get fresh salmon and shrimps. They keep sanitizing every shelves and inside the store. Also, most employees were super friendly and helpful! I recommend this store.

Just checked out my meal at Hyvee's in Manhattan and Stefan was working the register. What an asset he is to your Hyvee team! Being in customer service for over 2 decades I am always one to complement exceptional employees when I encounter them! His upbeat and friendly personality coupled with his excellent customer service is what all employees should strive to offer their customers. Thank you, Stefan!!

Clean and nice store with friendly staff. Prices are on the upper scale but looks like they’re trying to get more competitive with some comparison options.

Love their tuna steaks. They always have a big selection of products and a really good price point. Even has a kstate little shop thing with all sorts of cool collectibles. Used to come here weekly for my groceries. The employees were always nice and very helpful for whatever you need. I loved that for Easter they had an egg hunt around the store and had the Easter bunny come and you could take pictures with your children and get a little goodie bag for them as well as other little activities set up around the store. I definitely still stop in here whenever I'm in town to find a cheap snack for the road .

Hyvee is a clean and well stocked store. I really enjoy perusing their extensive candy section and my friends love their meat selection, especially the fancy sausages for grilling.

The girls working the morning shift at the Starbucks Tuesday Dec.12th had exceptional customer service and were so kind. They should get a raise 🙏

Always clean and kept up. Pick-up drive thru is a lot nicer than the park-in spots that Dillons uses.

Where they may not have the lowest prices, they are leading the pack for quality.
Edited to add: I don't mean a negative against their prices. I hope they keep such amazing quality. Whenever I want to celebrate and cook something special, this is where I come. I never mind paying.

I have been going here for purchasing the meat for my house for years. The meat packages they sell are amazingly priced low compared to purchasing all of the meat separately.

I was looking for a fruit tray to bring to my daughter-in-law when she gave birth, so I stopped by Hy-vee and they has it!

HyVee catered the brunch we hosted the morning after our wedding. The manager, Margo, was super easy to communicate with, helped us adequately plan for the size of our party, and they were right on time with the delivery and setup. It was an exceptional value and all our guests were very pleased. I would absolutely go with HyVee again in the future!

This is a great store! I am partial to HyVee as I have been shopping with them for years. This one is one of my favorites!

My go to grocery store when I lived in Manhattan, always had what I needed. Always clean and organized.

The only place I have found toilet paper. I was so happy. They also have water. Every other store is empty.. This was during the height of covid. But Hyvee is the most organized grocery store in Manhattan Kansas. If you need any sports clothes, food etc...They have all that ypu need. Updated in 2024

They make the best tasting and most beautiful birthday cakes. It never fails. I don't go anywhere else! Always a good experience.
