I've gone here several times to get many things done. Car registration, title questions, driver's license renewals, etc. Each experience has been great. Everyone in the motor vehicle/driver's license departments are very helpful and willing to answer any questions that you may have. I will highly recommend making an appointment though, as they seem to be trying to go by appointment only. If you don't have an appointment, you will just sit there and hope that someone finishes early and they have time for you. No guarantee you'll get seen without an appointment.

Had to get my new car title paperwork done. The system allows you to set a time to get things done. Wonderful system and the employees are so efficient and knowledgeable.

Went here for an out of state vehicle registration and the staff were incredible. Very supportive and helpful, even advancing my niece’s appointment up to accommodate her and her young children coming in to transfer title.

I just registered my new car with Susan and she provided excellent, absolutely excellent service! Susan explained everything clearly and very professional. Very please on how smooth this process was! Thank you!

Everyone I've spoken with on the phone has been so kind and helpful. We still have cars registered in Kansas for our college kiddos even though we live in Ohio, and you can imagine there are some hoops to jump through to make it happen. They have all been understanding and patient as they led us through what forms and processes we needed to do. Thanks!

came in to get my license plate and title switched over from out of state, very helpful. never had such a fantastic experience dealing with titles and license plates. very knowledgeable and helpful. in and out in 30 minutes, including the time spent waiting in line, couldn't ask for better.

Lauren was extremely helpful, as was her supervisor (can't recall the name) and Carol was also pleasant to deal with.

I was able to put in a reservation and they told me when I would be helped so I didn't have to wait! The staff there was so friendly! One of them even gave me a big hug and walked me to my appointment room and made sure everything went well throughout! Carol was also so helpful and entertaining! She was cracking jokes the whole time and I could barely keep a straight face for my new photo!!! I wish I turned 21 more often so I had more reasons to come back!

Susan was the greatest person to have helped us today with our vehicle registration! Thank you Riley county for having excellent employees for us. : ) she is so professional and personable!

Came on a Friday around noon, expecting it to be a couple hour wait time like every other government DMV type office. My wait time was 30 minutes!! Never in my life had I had my new Drivers License registration take such a short amount of time, thank you guys! And the guy helping me was very pleasant and nice.

The staff here is AMAZING! So kind and helpful-always willing to take time and explain things for you-even over the phone. A woman named Crystal has helped me multiple times and is always so kind and patient. Wish I could add more than five stars!

Been going for 30 years don't understand all the neg reviews as all my experiences have been great. Professional friendly, automation system worked great. Processing is broken down to functions which determines which line you are in. Use the text waiting and wait at home. I am proud to give them 5 stars, would recommend. If you want to have a bad experience try going out to the office on Hwy 24 and read their reviews.

SKIP THE LINE. To do tag renews I took advantage of their monthly escrow program so now I just simple call up, give tag numbers and viola tags are at my home in 1-2 days.

I have been working on getting my vehicle registered through the Riley County Treasurer's office and during that time I received the best customer service from Tande. She was incredible in handling any and all issues I had and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. She truly went above and beyond the requirements of her job to aide me in getting my vehicle registered and I am grateful for that.

We have used the Riley County Treasurer's office for our motor vehicle licensing needs for the 11 years we have lived in Manhattan, KS. The employees have always been knowledgeable, respectful, and appeared to care about making sure that all of my needs were taken care of before I left. The only times I had more than a 10 minute wait is when I chose to go at times that are known to be especially busy: last few days and first few days of the month or 30 minutes or less before closing.
I only have two items I would like to see done differently. 1 - Extend the limited availability of the person who inspects the car when it initially is brought into KS , and 2 - Have the driver's license part of the DMV moved closer to the vehicle portion.

Very helpful, friendly and efficient. Renewed 2 vehicles and my drivers license. The title clerk entered me into the drivers license line as soon as I sat down. Thanks to everyone for a pleasant experience.

Hey all! I was perusing the google-webs to find the hours for the (very nice) VIN verification guy and saw the reviews on this office are awful. For what it's worth, I have never had a bad experience here. I have called and/or walked into the County Treasurer for drivers license renewal car registration etc. at least a dozen times since I have lived in Manhattan. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. The automated system is a great move to increase productivity. The machine is right outside of the office and any questions that arise are answered promptly. If anybody really wants to complain, check out the California DMV. Hell on earth.

Renewing my car tags was nice this year. I checked in online from home and was told 12 minutes. When I got there, there were no crowds, no long delays and I was in and out. 🙂

I had a very smooth and great experience here at the Treasures office updating my title. Being an out of state driver, many of the DMV’s that handle to title work have been rude and disrespectful. But here everyone is kinda, informative and timely. Christy, Mary Ann and Shari were especially helpful and kind.

Ps as far as wait time goes, it’s what’s to be expected at an office that handles so much paper work. So no complains guys you’ve done a great job.
