The Varsity Truck

The corn dog was one of the best corn dogs I’ve ever had. The service was pretty fast, which is a plus. If you want a late night snack, The Varsity Truck is the place to go to.

The Varsity Truck is a unique spot in MHK. It’s fun taking the alley shortcut, a little on edge, to turn to see a hole-in-the-wall hangout. The lights, graffiti, stickers, music, make for a sweet surprise. The food truck has yummy eats, such as fresh donuts and grilled cheese mac n cheese. While it’s popularly known as ‘drunk food’ it is also the perfect environment for a quick bite & catching up in the late hours.

We have had super awesome donuts from here every time we visit Manhattan... This time we kicked it up a notch and got hot fresh donuts with a box of (10) corn dogs that were about to feed a Small army of drinkers at the bar. They made them fresh to order and the taste was simply heavenly. I do appreciate that made them fresh and let us know the amount of time it would take. The wait is way worth it. If YOU are in the area this is a must stop. I can't wait to visit again!

Varsity donuts truck may have limited hours, but it is a perfect night gig in cozy Aggieville. After drinks at one of the bars, stop here for a delicious corn dog (with mustard!) and a party box of donut holes to share with friends. It is a Manhattan tradition, and a delightful alleyway walk. If you're into geocaching, there are often caches hidden not far, if you know where to look... ;-)

Their Mac and Cheese grilled cheese sandwich is amazing! They have donuts, corn dogs, and several other items.

It is in a good spot to walk to after a drink or two. If you had no drinks the sandwich I referenced earlier would still be good. The prices are good for the food received.

I love coming here! The staff is always friendly and they make really good food. If you want to hang around they've always got something playing off of a projector and there are plenty of people passing through that you can talk to. Grilled Cheese Mac and Cheese is 💯

They have the best food for those out late in aggieville. After places shut down, this truck is still open serving some delicious comfort food. Grilled cheeses mac and cheese is my favorite. I recently found out you can add bacon and or a corn dog to the inside of the grilled cheese mac and cheese, and while it sounds outlandish, it was delicious and I fully recommend trying it.

Must stop after the bars. Great donuts, corn dogs, or grilled cheese Mac n Cheese with bacon. Super long lines usually but it’s a fun time with friends hanging or while you wait. Relatively cheap too. Grilled cheese is $5 and a party box is usually the same.

Oh man. Varsity truck is my one and only favorite places to go for a late night snack. Their corn dogs and donuts are exquisite. Their seating and theater behind the truck showing classic 80s-90s movies is also fun! One of the hippest places for cool music and a late night bite to eat. :)

College memories were made here! The line is always long, which definitely shows how great the food is! People may complain about how long the wait is, but it's a truck! You can't fit an entire restaurant staff that can cater to that many people at once in a truck, but they do have the people where it counts!

Doughnut and sandwiches open late on weekends. Hidden in back of alley. Best to ask directions.

If you're in Manhatten you have to make this stop happen. Donuts are good but the grilled cheese mac and cheese with bacon. Wow. Unbelievably good with a crunchy outside and creamy cheesy heaven inside. Then theres delicious bites of bacon to make it truly the best late night food truck experience ever. Break the diet and try this. Way worth it.

Always worth the wait. Yes donuts are good but my favourites are either the bacon donut. Or the bacon grilled mac and cheese sandwich. The later it get the busier it gets. It’s popular for a reason!!

The grilled cheese mac-n-cheese is incredible in its' own right. But your first time eating one after a night out in the Ville is one of those moments you tell your grandkids about.

Those Mac and cheese grilled cheese are fantastic during a fun Thursday and Friday night! You also gotta try the Bacon Bomb!

Great food, especially when drunk. If you only get it once in your life, try the Mac and cheese grilled cheese sandwich. Worth the wait.
