I have been meaning to update you on how pleased I am with my health coverage. I retired on 17 January and scheduled hiatal hernia surgery on 30 January. I have had shortness of breath for years and it was decided that was due to the hiatal hernia, I thought it was just because I was out of shape. I travel all over the world and enjoy hiking, however within the last year, I noticed that I could not hike for any long distances without running out of breath. In Colorado, I thought it was the altitude, in NC, just the length of the hike, and in Scotland, well I was really out of shape and it made me mad I could not hike like I wanted to. I decided to advise my family physician of the surgery. Dr. Scott ordered a stress test for pre operation. I had the stress test on 24 January, got the call on Monday to set up an appointment for the heart cath on wed, 29 January and instead of hiatal hernia surgery I had heart surgery on 30 January. My widow maker was 85% blocked. In May I had my hiatal hernia surgery. I paid a total of less than $400 for both surgeries. A huge thank you. I recommend Design Benefits and YOU to anyone considering retiring and needing insurance advise.

In this day and time when customer service is at an all time low, Design Benefits has the best of the best! Theresa Higgins worked tirelessly to resolve an insurance issue I had this year. She didn't stop until it was corrected. Thank the Lord for this company!
