Nurses and doctors were very caring and understanding! Very patient and attentive to the patient’s needs. I came here with my dad due to a transfer. Originally, we just planned to get a check up, but ended up doing so many unnecessary procedures and tests. We got scammed big time with the previous hospital. This hospital is absolutely amazing! They understood our concerns and also offered us alternative way to lower our financial burden. Will definitely come here again!

The best care that I have ever received in a Hospital setting. The Nurses and staff are compassionate and kind. They are uplifting to the broken hearted. If you live in Wichita and the Paramedics ask which hospital you wish to go to, I can testify that my experiences with Wesley Hospital have been positive.

IF YOU GOT A DENTAL ABSCESS THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!! they lanced my abscess and took care of me, I was in and out within an hour, I was very anxious cause my general anxiety and they reassured me and walked me through everything, what ever I requested they made happen, I didn’t want any shots in my mouth due to last experiences and they were extremely understanding, doctor was great and the nurse was awesome too, if you have any dental problems and don’t got a dentist or need it taken care of before you get into the dentist, then this is the place to go. This is the only hospital Iv been treated so good at with dental troubles. Amazing and caring through and through

Hospital staff was awesome.
Even the male nurse who was missing 3 and 1/2 fingers and was attempting to give me an IV.
6 times.
True story.
Next time I decide to almost die, I will def head here again.

However, I HIGHLY suggest you bring your own food or pay someone to smuggle it in.
Cuz...damn.

This (admittedly very long) review is for a three night, three day (in that order) stay from Saturday, October 7 to Tuesday, October 10 of 2023. When I arrived Saturday evening it was right around shift change. I was transferred by ambulance (thanks AMR team!) to this location from 13th and Tyler as they had no available rooms anywhere else. The first doctor that saw me was Dr. Guhl. I will preface the following by saying again that it was shift change, and I'm sure the doctor was coming off a long shift and very tired. That being said, he looked me over and then told me that the swelling and pain in my lip and jaw was an allergic reaction to a medication I had taken before with no adverse effects. His tone indicated that I was stupid to let myself be admitted. I took him at his word because he's a professional despite the fact that I, having zero knowledge of modern medicine, could tell that was not the case.

The five star review is for the following reasons. First off, the nurses and techs on floor four of the tower are absolute rockstars. Kailey (SP?), Liz, Angela, Lisa, Sarah, AJ, Chloe, Melissa, Anette, and one other tech whose name I didn't catch were incredibly friendly and helpful. They treated me like a person and not just another patient they had to deal with. They listened when I spoke, and had real conversations with me. They never talked down to me or treated me like I was overreacting, even when I know I was. They visited me multiple times a day and made sure I had everything I needed when I was diagnosed with staph infection and put on contact limitation and couldn't even leave my room to go to the vending machines. I cannot thank these wonderful people enough for keeping me sane and enduring my incessant babbling and ridiculous attempts at humor in a fruitless effort to ward off crushing boredom despite probably having a billion other things they needed to be doing. There are only so many hours of Comedy Central programming one can watch before going utterly mad, and these absolute angels sent from the heavens above helped to alleviate that.

Another huge shoutout goes to Dr. Eliveha. The morning after I was admitted, he came into the room and greeted me friendly and proceeded to listen to everything I told him without interrupting. When I was finished, he took one look at the sore on my lip and correctly diagnosed it as staph. After looking at the cultures that had been taken the day before at 13th and Tyler, he started me on antibiotics to fight the infection and oxy for the pain. After only a day, because I was being given the correct treatment finally, the swelling had gone down some and I didn't need the pain meds except on rare occasion. Eliveha visited me twice daily to see how I was doing, and every time he sat and listened patiently while I rambled on about whatever I rambled on about. This man is a treasure and people deserve to know about him. Even the staff on that floor had nothing but good to say about him.

When I was finally discharged the process was fairly quick and painless and they called me a cab that they paid for to get me back to 13th and Tyler where I had had to leave my car when I was transferred here.

Will I visit Wesley Medical again? Not willingly, because hopefully I won't need to. However, if I ever need the ER or an extended stay again, this is where I will go. Thanks again so much to the staff on tower floor four. You have no idea how much you helped me and how much it meant to me that you treated me so respectfully and with such kindness during a time when I was in immense pain.

I made an appointment with scheduling for an MRI. I want to give a “SHOUT OUT,”, to Carol for being sooo kind and patient with me. Also want to thank MRI Tech for getting me connected to scheduling as I tried for three days as I’d leave my number in que. I wasn’t sure if something was wrong but Carol explained this time of year they are extra busy due to people trying to get in by end of year. Thanks again Carol and whomever was in MRI!! It’s people like them that truly are an asset to your hospital and I hope they get compensated well!! God bless, stay safe and healthy 🙏🏻

100 times better than Via Christi. They have their times when they're busy which the wait can be a bit long but it's worth it because staff nurses and doctors are great. They're kind and respectful. When I came here from the St Joe ER due to a kidney infection they took me quickly and treated my pain. Thank you. All of the Via Christi hospitals could learn a lot from Wesley

I just had a knee replacement 6/7 and I can honestly say I have never had such good care. I've had several surgeries before but this place was wonderful. All my nurses & aids on 4th floor were there when I needed them and acted like we were all family. I can honestly say that my experience here was the best ive ever had. Thank you to all the staff & surgical team. I sing your praises every day. May you continue to be blessed in all you do

My experience with Wesley was exceptional! From registration to every single nurse that I met, treated me like a family member! The surgery team were professional and informative and made me very comfortable with my procedure.
I would like to thank them all esp. Dr Jacqueline Morgan, who made me feel like I was her only patient.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL 🙏

This is a great hospital, they are pretty professional, and they take their job seriously when we are talking about save life. You can go there without any fear.

I was born at Wesley and had many surgery & procedures there in the past and always had good experiences. But it has been numerous years since I had been there and I was very impressed with it all from check in, their wheelchair service to deliver us one end of the hospital to the sonogram department. The halls were sparkling clean, we had friendly conversations with the volunteers, the wait for the sonogram was short and the technician was very personable and worked diligently to overcome some problems with the machine, which required considerable time. But they made sure I was comfortable during the experience.

From the ER department, to the CICU floor, and then on to general hospital room, my experience and professional care by many technicians, nursing staff, therapy team, from the food selection and their kitchen staff, the doctors was very very good. Of course my stay was 72 hours (three days).
Though it was an intense two days, and third day more mellowed, I was really overwhelmed from many people in the process which were great people, they were courteous, respectful, open, and direct. I was assisted w/ my spouse, she is a great advocate or spokesperson for me on the first two days. I recommend (highly recommend) to have someone to be available one hundred percent at your side to assist, listen to instructions, to take notes, to ask questions, etc., on your behalf. And the entire team, appreciated this extra person to do lots of the paperwork, and so much more. It help speed up the process, or make things go much smoother.
So my care was exceptional at Wesley. I even liked all the food that was provided, that was a bonus.
They were each so kind to me, so I was in turn very polite, cooperative and wanted not to be a burden to any of them. That is the key for a quick turnaround in this hospital. I was even discharged w/o any restrictions too. We worked so well together.

My care was acceptional from my check in to discharge. I don't remember all of my care team and for that I apologize. I was in room 453 on 6/23 & 6/24/2023. Even the sweet woman from the lab was so nice and did a great job of finding my vein and I didn't feel a thing.

Everything that has always had to do with emergency medical care and services for my family has always been done at Wesley medical center. My children were even born there. I have had a number of surgery's done myself including a life and death surgery from a serious auto accident where I was flown there by life watch helicopter and they have always done an amazing job on me and my family. They are kind and professional but they also treat their patients as if they know them on a personal level. As for me and my family, Wesley will always be our choice of hospital's!

My experience at "the baby hospital" was great. I went in for an induction and ended up needing a c-section. Even though this was not my desired outcome it was still the right choice and I felt confident in this and that the doctors and nurses helping me through these decisions were acting in my and my baby's best interest. The nurses were kind and attentive. I felt I was being looked after by people who absolutely knew what they were doing every step of the way. My confidence in the care I was receiving never wavered. Very thankful Wesley is where I delivered my first baby!

Came in Oct 23 when my water broke. Baby decided to play tricks on us, and was trying to be born with his hand over his head. Every staff member went over and beyond. Made me feel safe and comfortable. I had a c-section years prior to this one and it was not an easy recovery. So I was pleasantly surprised with how easy this recovery has been. So incredibly thankful to the surgeon! I also would love to thank all the wonderful nurses, but especially Mandi who made sure I was in the best care my whole stay.

Amazing job to everyone involved!
Hes growing happy and healthy, and it all started with this amazing team!

I was truly impressed with the service at Wesley with the exception of the staff that checked me in. The lady that checked me in and the one that did my vitals need to both work on bedside manners. People are already not feeling well when they come in so they don't want to have to deal with rude staff.
Now once I got past that point the service was exceptional. They treated me like I was a human being and listened to my concerns. They really took care of all my concerns. Job well done!

Smooth check in process, everyone was very gracious & helpful, the procedure went smoothly, recovery room was great for me (though the guy a few beds down was miserable but couldn't or wouldn't say why! The ladies working with him were amazingly calm during all his noncompliant ramblings!) As for me, my heart is back in rhythm and I'm very grateful to Dr Bakdash and all the Wesley staff! Thank You!

Grant Weed performed an EEG on me. I was nervous and his bed side manner made me feel right at ease. Thank you!! You deserve a raise.

Best hospital experience ever, the nursing staff treated me with the best care, the doctors that worked on me were very kind and kept me informed as to what was happening. The ICU was the greatest teem and took great care of me while I was in their unit. My only complaint would be a member of the urology team, he was called in to place a catheter and he was very rough, I pray I never have to encounter him again as long as I live.
