This is a true gem of Wichita, right at the corner of Douglas and Cleveland. The Spice Merchant will mesmerize you with the smell of fresh coffee and spices once you step inside. The selection here is outstanding with a plethora of different coffee flavors, that can be purchased whole or ground, served by their friendly staff. The variety of spices is equally impressive and can be purchased in simple one ounce bags that make picking up multiple needs for any recipe a game changing convenience. Then there is a classic room dedicated entirely to tea, and the the rest of the store is loaded with racks of sauces, kitchen utensils, and awesome gifts. There is so much more to this fine business that it deserves to be checked out multiple times by all of Wichita residents and visitors.

Visited for the first time on Saturday, and we will absolutely be back! The workers were so kind and informative. We got some coffee beans, truffles, and a fun plate/cup/bowl set for our daughter! Had the coffee on sunday morning, so delicious!

Spices, coffee beans, tea leaves, unique kitchen gadgets, kitchen towels, puzzles, mugs… oh my goodness! It’s a wonderful store for all your year round gift giving and wonderful things for your home. I love this store! Wonderful staff will make it easy to find what you need.

Incredible large tea selections! I love loose leaf teas and this is my go to place to purchase them. They have a lot of tea accessories and tools to purchase as well.

Their spice selection is out of the park as well! Incredible products at an incredible price. My family has many staples that we will only get from here as the freshness and quality is not comparable to what any box store can give.

Wide range of options. Pretty impressive in variety and price of spices and teas. I was there on a very busy day and it was tough to navigate the narrow aisles, but part of that was because everything is really interesting and merits a closer look. The staff are very kind and patient, kudos to them on this busy afternoon!

The absolute best place to purchase all your wonderful coffee and teas...the smell is incredible walking in this place. I recommend the coffees as I have tried them. Several of them. You cannot go wrong if you are a connoisseur of coffees or teas. Will definitely return when I visit Wichita again.

My favorite spot, really the only place I buy tea at regularly. Very delicious. I love the teas and spices and everyone there is super great people. For the love of God please stay open when it's cold and stop closing for 20 degree days though! It's happened more than a few times that I've missed your business hours. I'm a night owl and usually roll in too late. I was heartbroken a few days ago when I couldn't get my comfort chamomile and orange grapefruit wellness.... I cried and went to bed thirsty. I really didn't want and couldn't drink anything else. I neeeeeeed your teas and spices please.

First time I'd ever been there in all the years I've lived in Wichita. What a treat. This place smells great even if you're not a coffee drinker and the tea selection is out of this world... if you're looking for a gift for someone, I highly recommend this place... they sell cards they sell gifts they sell coffee they sell tea and they even sell little plastic bags of small amount of spices so you don't have to buy a big jar.

Love this place. You can smell it when you pull into the parking lot. When you want coffee that's more than a pick me up, when you really want to savor it, you owe it to yourself to spend a moment and talk about the different blends with their very knowledgeable staff.

Not just one of my favorite coffee shops in Wichita, but one of my favorite in the country.!So many options, locally roasted, every time blow through town I pick up a few bags of coffee and tea. Pro-tip, their bags of coffee also make great gifts.

A piece of heaven, where you can buy anything to do with incredible coffees or teas and the spices are particularly special too. One of my first favorite places I discovered in Wichita over 14 years ago.

I have been going to the spice merchant for several years, the quality of the coffee and tea are out of this world. There is a great selection of salsa, spices, puzzels, tea sets and cutesy kitchen gadgets that make for a perfect gift. You're guaranteed to find something for any personality here 👍🏼

Unimaginable variety of teas and coffee. They fresh roast their coffee in house and you walk in to an amazing smell every time. Spices are also freshly ground and packaged in house. Trust me there is something for everyone here!

I must say that this in a very fun and interesting store. Love all the different coffee/ tea cups they have. And the teas… oh my the teas are to many to choose from. Their truffles are super yummy! If you haven’t already stopped by you’re missing out.

They have a wide selection of kitchen stuff, spices and sauces, lots of coffee and loose teas. Stuff you won't easily find in other big box stores. High quality, too. One of my favorite shops in Wichita.

I go here mostly for my Teas and Coffees for home. Much better flavor fresh from here, and not aged on shelf from some retail chain.One of my favorite places to pick up random items like unique jellys and stuffed olives..

Amazing place in Wichita. If you love coffee then you will love it here. They have a huge selection of fresh coffee and tea along with all the spices you could ever need. I always get my coffee here and am able to make espresso that tastes better than almost any coffee shop. They are always really nice and helpful.
