Mc Eachron Elementary School

What a great school. As a Catholic student in the 60's, i went to McEachron for kindergarten. Now 50+ years later, my granddaughter is attending there, and will stay there until she reaches middle school. We all love the school; Nora loves all of the teachers she's had, and the others that she knows, plus all of the staff. And of course, she loved being "principal for a day" a few years ago.
Today we had grandparents day, and weren't able to have muffins. Instead we got to spend time in the kids' classrooms, got to buy them some books in the gym, and best of all got to watch a wonderful program each grade put on. To me, this was better than the muffin with grandparents events. I would just as soon see this happen every year, and save the muffin money for whatever the school needs. Big kudos to whoever thought this up, and please consider that this may be a much more meaningful way to celebrate with out grandchildren. Thanks!
