Stylists are very intentional in listening, getting to know you, your hair goals and hair care education. All inside a lovely, private, and calm environment!

This was my first time visiting a salon in probably 5 years. I had a consultation with Blair where we discussed my regular hair routines and what I wanted done, afterwards I was able to log onto their website to schedule my appointment based on Blair’s openings and select what services I wanted. The process felt very easy and I thought doing it all online was super convenient (if you don’t like that style of communication this may not be the salon for you)
I wanted my hair dyed red/coppery and I needed length taken off the bottom and some texture or layers or something, it was blah. I am naturally blonde and regularly dye it myself, my hair is super long and straight, I don’t do much to it, I’m lazy.. Blair called it low maintenance and I like that better. Well let me tell you, BLAIR UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! When I returned for my appointment she remembered exactly everything that we discussed, she made me feel super at ease and comfortable the entire time and I am in love with my hair! I also had the flowerfall scalp treatment which was DEVINE and I would recommend to everyone, especially those who rarely pamper themselves- DO THIS!!!! 🥲
My hair and scalp look and feel so good and healthy and I felt so pampered and relaxed. I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this salon if it is your vibe.(And you’ll know if it isn’t, I feel like the negative reviews are from people whose vibe it is not- and that’s ok- but this salon is anything but negative. 🙃

I have been seeing Joy for my curly hair cuts for 2 years. I always look forward to seeing her. She listens and is such a literal JOY to spend time with. Her knowledge and skill with curly hair; the cuts and shape, products and application are extremely good. I've been on a curly hair journey for 10 years and have tried many different things. Her and the Beauty Factory have become a staple in my hair care routine. Thanks so much for being in Springfield!

Love this place! A quiet, serene, calming and welcoming place run by madly talented stylists! Serena and Blair have literally changed how my days go with their color and extension skills.

I am beyond blessed that this place exists. I love how friendly all the stylists are especially the owner, she is the sweetest! My hair girl just recently moved so I haven’t been there since she has left but I would still recommend this place to anyone. I love the way the salon is set up, it’s a very clean environment and all the products they use are amazing. If you are looking for a new salon to go to I HIGHLY recommend The Beauty Factory!

I cannot recommend this salon enough! As a somewhat introverted person this salon is SO welcoming and relaxing. I have been going here for a few months from a friends recommendation and I always leave feeling so relaxed and pleased with my service. My stylist, Blair, always leaves me speechless with how well she executes exactly what I want done. As someone who is conscious about what products I put on my hair and body I also love how passionate the salon is about using clean products. 10/10 recommend The Beauty Factory!

Joy did an amazing job w/ my hair! The previous colors had faded and I had major root grow-out. At the consultation appointment, we discussed what I wanted to do w/ the color and she clearly laid out the options and expectations. She worked w/in my budget and schedule, and her personality is off the charts!

The services are great, and I love my new hair color! But that’s not why I’m giving this place 5 stars. I love their approach to matching you with a stylist. My stylist was gentle and kind. She did her magic while I rested. Other salons were crowded, loud, and I felt I always had to be talkative to avoid awkwardness which is draining to me. I’ve neglected my hair care just for those reasons. I’m the type that wants to sit and relax quietly, away from my already busy life. She encourages relaxation, not forced conversations. I was able to recharge my hair and myself. I’m so glad I found this place. Thank you!

The Beauty Factory is truly unique! It is a place where I feel comfortable the second I walk through the door & confident the second I leave. All of the stylists are welcoming & helpful to anyone that is open to hearing what input/advice they have to give. I appreciate the boundaries these professionals have set in place, it keeps my experience from being ruined & reassures me that when I am in my stylists chair, I am their priority for my whole appointment!

I really enjoyed my first experience here. Blair did a fantastic job and made me feel very comfortable. I haven’t had my hair professionally done in two years because I have a hard time with small talk and other sensory elements. I did not have to worry about that at all and it was so helpful that Blair and I were on the same page. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment which is something I never thought I could say about a salon.

Very chill place. I have come here for mostly trims and have had a balayage before. I've always had a great experience and love my results. Becca is very knowledgeable and down to earth.

I always enjoy my experience at TBF!! I have utilized their services for haircuts, hair hydration treatments, and extensions. It’s calm and inviting and smells AMAZING - perfect for introverts or folks who just need to unwind and be taken care of! I trust the clean beauty products they use on my hair and appreciate that I can also buy those products in their boutique. My appointment always runs on time because they uphold their late/cancellation policies. The technical abilities of the stylists are unparalleled and they are always educated on current hair trends, so I leave my appointments looking and feeling great!

If you have curly hair, then you need to treat yourself by having Joy do your hair. I have never been so overwhelming happy when I left a salon. She truly knows how to cut and style curly hair. Joy is also hilarious and down to earth. Other stylist might be great, but can they cut curly hair like you see on Instagram? 😉

The salon has a great vibe. It's clean and organized. It was nice not having harsh lighting or loud music. Definitely plan on returning and referring others.

Extremely satisfying experience. I love trying new things with my hair. I am looking forward to my next appointment. Having someone who understands curly hair is a dream come true. Thank you Joy.

The vibe of this salon is the most beautiful experience at a salon I’ve ever had. The most amazing humans work inside. I met Serena before she opened this salon, she was on her own in a tiny office filled with love. She was amazing then but to watch her dream and vision come into the light has been the most authentic and empowering experience. She truly is a ray of light in this dark and negative world. The positive energy that encompasses you when you walk in, the amazing smells and big smiles you get from all the stylist makes for the whole experience. Oh and they care about the environment and making sure what they use is good for your hair! Best experience I’ve ever had at a salon, it should be called a retreat! I wish I could go monthly!

I’ve been going to Serena for about 3ish years now! The way she intuitively knows what I want and NEED, the way she beautifully colors my hair every time, and the way she listens is beyond what I could’ve ever asked for from a salon. I look forward to my appointments not only for my hair but to just BE there in her salon. It’s all around an amazing atmosphere and environment. All of the other stylists are so nice as well. Highly recommend!

Serena is fantastic at putting my mind at ease about getting my hair done. I can fully trust her work. My hair is the healthiest it’s ever been, it grows stronger, longer and faster than ever. She offers a beautifully relaxing atmosphere, and does a quality job on my hair that causes people to ask me often where I get my hair done! The Beauty Factory Salon does things differently...it works and I’m sold.

Love the Beauty Factory! Mostly because my stylist, Stacia is amazing. But, the overall salon vibe is nice too. It's cool, and muted, a very relaxing place to spend a couple of hours. There are lots of plants, and great stuff to browse in their shop as well.
Now, they are super strict in adherence to their chill aesthetic (so no noisy phones, and if you laugh too loudly you might get a look)-
But, you gotta respect the commitment to the vibe.
For me the most important aspect of any salon experience is how my hair looks when I leave. And it's always amazing. So I would definitely recommend. 😊

As always, Blair is a treat. This is hands down my favorite salon. Everyone there is welcoming and they have great products.
