Family Central

Took my 3 year granddaughter to Family Central on a rainy day. So glad I did! She loved the play area. My daughter grew up on Adventures in Odyssey. It was like we came home. We had the best time! We even did some shopping.

Great place for families! Play kitchen, climbing structure with slide, and more in the Whit’s End children’s area. There will be more to come as renovations continue back there. There was a morning storytime the day we stopped in, which was a happy surprise. Good selection of Christian fiction for children, pre-teen and teen books, each arranged by age group. Adult fiction and non-fiction, gifts, etc too. Free coffee and water. Clean bathrooms with changing table. Comfy places to sit and read, talk or watch the kids play. Happy we stumbled across this relaxing gem in downtown Holland!

This is such a great store! So happy they’ve opened in Holland! Nice selection of books, Bibles, Bible studies, cards and gifts, and an absolutely adorable kids play area! Staff were so friendly and helpful, too. Please support this bookstore so that our community can have a this in-person resource for Christian materials!

Friendly helpful staff. I messaged them on facebook and got prompt responses. Had them order workbooks for my study group and it was cheaper than buying & paying shipping online.

We love Family Central! We look forward to greeting the staff and checking out the latest changes. We also buy stuff there! This store is an amazing addition to downtown Holland. We usually stop in at least once a week. We've participated in several book signings and the Lighthouse Voices events they host. The service Family Central provides is first class. The resources they offer are the best. The atmosphere of the store is spiritually refreshing. Many of the staff members have become good friends. We thank God for sending Family Central to Holland!

I'm glad to see a Christian based company in the downtown area. It's definitely something we need way more of. Plus, i grew up with Adventures in Odyssey so it's amazing to see how many episodes they have!

Enjoyed the store and the content. The people working there were friendly and helpful and I would expect nothing less from an Holland merchant. Some may have a dislike for the Christian book store but I am glad to have it here. This adds diversity to our community that we have all been talking about for some years.

As a first-time author, I love supporting local bookstores. I had the opportunity to spend several hours in this incredible store, browsing through the family-friendly book selection.
