Eric R. Boyd, DDS

In the past I have had nothing but horrible dental experiences... that is until I visited Dr. Boyd, and his staff. Everything about this place is absolutely amazing! No discomfort before, during, or after. I will forever recommend the Colonies Dental Center, and I'd just about guarantee you would feel the same. Go meet all of the wonderful women that work there, because not only will they make you smile, but Boyd and his ladies will make it a beautiful smile too!

I treated my teeth with Dr. Eric Boyd about two years ago after one of my tooth fillings fell out. Dr. Boyd was very straightforward and open about what was going on and he also took extreme care of the work he performed. It was a tricky case and he warned me about the new filling that it might not be successful, in which case I could always come back. I left the dental center with the confidence that I received a top notch service. I'm glad to report now that it did work like a dream even two years after the treatment. I was talking to one of my family members today about how depressed people are with toothaches, and it reminded me about the exceptional service I received from Dr. Boyd. By the way, for me as a relatively poor grad student at Mizzou, the charge was very reasonable and I couldn't be happier.

Those little wonderful things in life that doesn't give me troubles are the things that I often tend to forget. It was only fair to me to go back to Google and thank Dr. Boyd and his staff for the wonderful experience I had. I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone I know to have their dental work done at his clinic.

I found out about this dentist office through Google. It was listed as one of the best dentist in the Columbia area so I made an appt. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable. Dr. Boyd is very professional. Overall it's a great choice for dental work and I can't wait for my next visit. I would highly recommend Eric R. Boyd, DDS as your dental care.

Being relatively new to Columbia and having a sort of "dentist-phobia," I was very apprehensive to choose a dentist. I perused the list of my preferred providers on my insurance's website and found few with relatively decent reviews. I decided to go with Dr. Boyd but was very skeptical. Much to my delight, I feel that this was a great decision. Dr. Boyd was VERY thorough. You can tell he is knowledgeable, detail oriented, and trustworthy. Additionally, he took the time to explain all aspects of my oral health and answer questions in a matter that made me feel very confident in his expertise. I don't typically give reviews but after the stress of finding a dentist, wanted to reassure any prospective patients of Dr. Boyd's aptitude.

I appreciate the care and patience Dr. Boyd and his staff provide my elderly mother. Thank you for ensuring the modification to her dental partial was handled efficiently and fit her perfectly. I am always confident about the care you will extend my mother which brings us both comfort. Thank you especially for assisting multiple times with her transfers to and from our vehicle, entrance to the clinic, and your dental chair. You all are very kind and understanding!

out of a 1-10 rating I give them an 11. Dr. Boyd is a great dentist, very personable, professional and has always done a great job with whatever procedure was performed on me. His office staff is also very friendly and attentive to your needs. I always recommend him to my friends and family!!

Dr. Boyd is an amazing dentist! He came highly recommended to me and was well worth the drive from Kansas City! It's the first time I can say that I actually didn't feel any pain, or even mild discomfort! He uses some kind of topical numbing agent that REALLY DOESN'T LET YOU FEEL THE SHOT! (plus he injects really slow). I asked him what it was and he said it's something he has compounded by the pharmacy, a little more expensive than the regular stuff but more effective for his patient’s comfort…and man is he right!
My other favorite part was the office environment. There wasn’t a bunch of cheap posters trying to sell you expensive treatments or products, or pressure you into thinking you had to buy something. It’s just a relaxing environment with a great staff and an honest, down to earth dentist! Just AMAZING!

I have known Eric on a professional level for about four years now. We are both involved with mentoring other dentists in the international dentaltown community, the nation's largest teaching and learning environment for dentists, hygienists and dental professionals. Eric's contributions have ranked very highly and have been respected by thousands of dentists throughout the world.

Eric is a different type of dentist than many... he is more of a tooth shepherd and never wants to do anything other than the ideal, and completely ethical treatment to teeth and to preserve them for a lifetime. Some dentists just want to do veneers or some other costly procedure... that really isn't Eric.

That is exactly what you should look for in a dentist... "Doc, help me keep my teeth for my lifetime. Can you do that ?"

I absolutely promise you that Eric would help you to preserve them. I also promise you that he won't recommend something that truly isn't warranted clinically. He is a dentist that many really good dentists look up to, myself included.

Great experience here! Everyone was very nice and the dental hygienist and dentist were informative but relaxed. I have to go back! And not even because I had such a great time.

Excellent staff and excellent care!

Poor service. I fill my teeth there three month ago and right now I start to have a toothache. The fee they charge you is higher than average but the service they provide is really bad. Also, you will be surpised when receive a big bill though they promise that the insurance will cover the most of the fee. Anyway, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT COME HERE
