Excellent rehabilitation clinic! The staff is courteous, friendly, and very experienced! They have helped our doggy boy a lot! They literally taught him to relearn how to walk again and helped him "remember" where his legs are and that he needs to use them. I would recommend this rehab center 100% every time!

Dr. Holscher and the team at River Canine Rehab have made a tremendous difference in how my dog feels! They are great to work with and helped guide us in what to do to improve his mobility. I would highly recommend them for anyone whose pet is struggling with mobility, age regardless. Very thorough, responsive, and encouraging.

Skye, our elderly Border Collie, has been coming here for physical therapy to strengthen her lower back and rear legs. She adores going and stands at our front door waiting for her appointments! She is strengthening and making good progress. The staff is wonderful, and they make certain that we are keeping informed at each step.

This is an amazing facility. We just went to visit a friend who works there. Very attractive entry, neat rehab rooms. We watched the use of a combination treadmill-water therapy tank. A dog who had a back operation was able to trot along at varying speeds. The device was $65,000 machine. He seemed to be enjoying the experience. Besides rehab they have full vet services.

Dr. Kara has been extremely patient and caring with my dog. She took the time to understand my concerns and his issue. He was originally misdiagnosed by another vet and I think the only reason my dog is doing better is because she took the time to do a thorough examination. My dog is doing so much better. His pain is gone and his demeanor is back to normal. All the staff is super helpful and attentive.

There are no words to express how much we LOVE everyone at River Canine Rehabilitation Clinic. Dr Kara is amazing and is extremely knowledgeable. Jeannie is always so helpful and friendly. Linda and Rachel in rehab are kind , patient and are miracle workers at physical therapy. Our dog Boji went from being paralyzed in his back legs to running again! Dr Kara and the team suggested acupuncture and physical therapy for our old man Kaine who has arthritis in his spine and legs. Within a few weeks he is now taking less medicine and walking around so much better. You are welcomed by the front desk staff with a smile and a hello and you leave with a smile knowing your pets are getting exceptional love and care. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful facility in Southwest Missouri.

Our dog Muppet now has a much improved quality of life thanks to acupuncture administered by Dr. Kara and cold laser therapy administered by Jeanne. When Muppet first visited River Canine, his mobility was severely limited and we did not know if Muppet would be able to carry on much longer. Fast forward a couple of months, and Muppet is now able to go on walks, can go fishing in the boat, and it is obvious his pain has diminished. The squirrels in the yard are not as happy about this as we are, as Muppet can run again, if so motivated. The neighbors have noticed a marked improvement when Muppet takes his daily walks. Suffice it to say, the one member of the family who was initially skeptical (not me) about the acupuncture working has been pleasantly surprised by the results and is very grateful for Muppet's improved condition.

Dr. Kara is energetic and caring. She cares about every animal and wants to give them the best treatment possible. LGBTQ friendly!

So sweet to my elderly Skye Terrier. Staff is caring and have helped him to live his best life after a back injury.

I only called to inquire about “behavioral training” (which they don’t do),they we SO kind and even kindly referred me to a location that could help!
