Can't describe how pleased I am to have tried this place for the first time, definitely a new local favorite. Not only the portions are worth every penny, but the taste is incredible. Wife had sesame chicken, her words "tender/fresh flavorful and has a smooth kick, not overbearing and gross like other places". And I had the chicken with garlic, cause I love spicy with a rich flavor, entirely on point, totally satisfied. Not to mention, just the rice alone is a treat. If all you want is a full belly, not break the bank, and smile like Joey after stealing his dates cake, give them a try.

Everything was perfect, from how easy it is to order online to the easy pickup, as well as price portion and especially the taste, best in town. So happy to have a new local favorite. 2nd time ordering from them and it's just as good as the 1st time. I tried all other similar places in the area, none come even close.

Food was amazing! Helpings are so big my dinner will also be my lunch for the next 2 days! Kung pao chicken had spice and good flavor! Husband said the general tso was great. Will definitely go back!

I have to say. I do not order in that often but this is definitely the best spot to call. I just ordered and they really give you a lot of food! I love it. I love you New China Star! I wish the entire staff a life of luck and happiness.

This place has become one of my go-too places for lunch the past few months. I've been here several times and the lunch deals are priced very reasonably for the portions you get. Every time the food has been delicious and the service has been excellent. Keep up the good work!

I have been a long time customer. Their food was really good. They were able to make special accommodations for us. Which most restaurants frown on but they were nice about it. The food was delivered nice and hot.

I have been eating from this restaurant for several years I remember when the older lady was there the food was very good and always fresh I order the same thing all the time and the gentleman there knows my order the lunch specials are the best better than most other restaurants 🤤😋

Ordered delivery. I live close but everything was hot and delish. Hot and sour soup is very good!

I ordered online, and it was ready when promised. There was so much food that I had enough for tomorrow. I feel like I got more than I paid for.

Their food is always on point. This is my favorite restaurant to order for carry out too because they're very timely. I love this place.

Nice big portions. Almost everything is good. Do not get the egg drop soup, it tastes like hot water with a hint of plastic.

Read the negative reviews. Most of them are ridiculous. I love this place for the steamed dumplings and homemade hot mustard. Yes, the gal answering phones has a thick accent. Order online, problem solved. Their sauces aren't the sugar gloop you find at most places, but the flavor is there. My main quibble is that their fried rice isn't what you might expect when you order fried rice. It's rice...fried. lol. Other than that it's pretty enjoyable, especially compared to the local competition. They aren't geared to dine-in, but do offer a few booths if you wish.

The food is amazing. Portions are a great size for the price. And fast delivery.

Great local, family run business. It had been maybe 6 months since I placed an order, and the same gentleman as always answered the call and before I even mentioned, remembered the custom order. I always appreciate places that remember their loyal customers. Their food is also delicious, my favorite fried rice and some of the best crab rangoon.

First time trying this place out. Even though it was a little pricey the food is awesome! They give you good size portions. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Easily my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Northland, been going for years. Chicken and broccoli 10/10

I decided to try eating here simply because I had never heard of it. I wasn't disappointed. Food was great. Plus you get a large portion. I couldn't finish it. The only thing that bothered me, and it wasn't enough to drop my rating, was the lack of a fountain drink machine.
I had the chicken with broccoli and rice combo meal and egg drop soup plus a spring roll.

OMG yummmmy. I just ordered take out late night dinner. It was around 9:20 and you know how sometimes so close to close the food isn’t as good? Well not here!!! Everything was so hot and fresh. And super tasty. The prices were affordable and the helping sizes were plenty. I live very close so I think I’ve got my new Chinese place!!! 100/10 would recommend.

We only had the egg rolls, crab Rangoon and egg drop soup, but they were delicious. We'll get meals next time.

This place is definitely good. I typically order from a Chinese restaurant closer to me but I wanted to try something new. I got the crab rangoon and combo lo mein extra spicy.

The rangoon is great, and is on par if not a little better than my favorite Chinese place. I would say the lo mein is a little better. I ordered it spicy and they most definitely did a good job on that. If you're taking it home, I'd mix it in a bowl since the sauce tends to settle at the bottom of the take out container.

Overall I enjoyed the food. I'm a pretty big person and this ended up being a little more that I can eat in one sitting. I'd recommend this place.
