I loved the atmosphere here. The staff were really nice and friendly. Very attentive and patient. The decorations for the holiday were awesome. I wish I got pictures of the figurine village. The bakery items were delicious. My sisters and I bought a cookie platter and every type was delightful. The pies were also very good.

I got the Primavera Quiche from Sugaree over the weekend in early March 2024 and it was delicious and filling! I also got a smaller size apple/raspberry crumble and it was good also. The person working there was friendly and the little shop was quaint. I would definitely recommend this nice little shop in Dogtown. 5 Stars

Dynamite baked goods! Stellar service! Will return for their crab pot pie. Really like that they've kept the entrance in what looks like its original condition (white tile - the visual clue that the place was/is a bakery).

My boyfriend and I just had the spinach and artichoke quiche-amazing! Now I know what to have for breakfast next Christmas! Can't wait to have the desserts tonight!

So glad I discovered this bakery near my work. The salted chocolate chunk shortbread cookie I had was so delicious. I also purchased a carrot cake to take home with me, it smells great and I can’t wait to try it! The girl working was also very nice and helpful.

Excellent pies (we bought the apple and pecan--extraordinary!). Best blueberry muffins I've ever had, bursting with berries. Too bad for us the proprietor is retiring in a month and the place is closing....

Don't tell my Granny, but Sugaree makes the best chicken pot pie I've ever had 🤫😍 Overall this cute little shop has some of the best sweets I've ever had. I can't wait for my Birthday because I know I'll be ordering a cake through them! Pat and her team are super nice and I've always had pleasant conversations with them during my visits.

If you’re considering them for your wedding cake, stop considering and DO IT. You won’t be able to beat Sugaree on taste, price, or customer service.

We’ve been married for over a year now, and we still have people mention that it was the best cake they’d ever had at a wedding. We had over 300 guests, so we had a huge budget for cake, but ended up under budget in this category while still having plenty for everyone. We didn’t have any leftovers, because when the caterer started to box up the leftovers guests came running over to grab more pieces!

All 3 cake flavors are great but the mousses are TO DIE FOR. We ended up giving our guests 3 cake choices— chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, and chocolate ganache; citrus pound cake with lemon mousse and strawberry mousse and buttercream icing; and vanilla cake with hazelnut mousse, espresso mousse, and chocolate ganache. It was SO HARD to choose these combinations because it all tasted so good. And, we were able to provide all of those choices at only $2.50 per person..... unbelievable.

I’ve seen some reviews claiming they were treated rudely... I guess I can see why someone would feel that way if they’ve gotten used to all the bridal butt-kissing you get during the wedding planning process. Pat was professional and very efficient. She didn’t mess around and waste our time, and she went above and beyond what we expected out of a bakery. She has a no-nonsense attitude but wasn’t dismissive or rude... just an expert in her field who knows what will and won’t work.

We recently bought a readymade Chocolate Three-Way cake from them for our anniversary and it was pure bliss. Everything we’ve tried is just delicious. Stop considering and choose Sugaree!

The pecan pie, Kentucky Butter Cake, Chocolate Seduction pie, THE CARROT CAKE!!!!! All absolutely phenomenal. I got the incredible pleasure of getting to meet the owner and baker prior to brick and mortar closing up shop and she is the most sweetest wonderful human. The woman can bake. She doesn't bake a bad thing

We ordered a carrot cake for a birthday and it was the BEST carrot cake we’ve ever had! Great customer service and the cake was beautiful.

Our wedding cake was not only beautiful but it was so delicious. Will recommend to any of my friends getting married in Saint Louis so that I can get another slice.

So first off let me start by apologizing. The Sugaree did our wedding cake back in 2016. I swear in wrote a review and praised how amazing this bakery wa . From the quality if thier cakes to thier outstanding customer servic . I highly recommend them to a girlfriend of mine getting married in Spring and she informed me she didnt see my review in her . Soni looked and couldn't find i . I feel ABSOLUTELY awful that it was not posted properly. So I'm attempting to post again theee years late . They were so helpful with the idea of the cake unwanted for a beach themed wedding I was having at the Zoo. Everything turned out so beautiful and the cake was absolutely delicious! I would give them 10 stars if I could! I again deeply apologize for not realizing my first review didnt post. But this bakery is truly amazing

Incredible pies!! Amazing! Picked up order Wednesday morning and they did a great job getting the orders out quickly. I figured anywhere that has a 30 minute line to pick up curbside has to be incredible and I wasn't disappointed. Looking forward to trying more of the varieties of pies

Everything here is amazing. The best pies in town. They also excel at cookies, pastries, and cakes. My wife and I got our wedding cake from here and had the best experience (and best cake) that you could imagine. Their quiches are also great! One thing you absolute MUST get from here when they're in season: THE TOMATO PIE. It's a very unique dish and not to be missed!

Sugaree prepared the cake for our wedding last weekend. It was simply breathtaking, inside and out. What a great experience. Can't recommend Sugaree enough!!

First let me say that the wedding cake and cupcakes were amazing! We used Sugaree Bakery for our daughters wedding 2 weeks ago. Our family and friends were very complimentary on the rich flavors of the real buttercream frosting and the lemon and raspberry fillings. Pat was a pleasure to work with. Everything was delivered in perfect condition and on time!

Love, love, love everything about Sugaree Bakery! From the sweet treats that they have in shop to my beautiful wedding cake they made for me this past September! I will say it was very reasonable in price as well. Love mom and pop styled shops. They always have the best sweet treats! Plus, we loved the way they did the cake tasting! They gave us a box with 3 cakes inside as well as their signature buttercream and the fillings we could put it! This was very convenient for us because our schedules are the total opposite and we were able to bring it home to try it out!

Have been a fan of Sugaree for years. They made the pies for our mini pie station at our wedding back in 2015. This holiday season we ordered the Lobster Quiche, Black Forest Cake, and Gooseberry Pie. The Lobster Quiche is unbelievable, the eggs are so soft it is more of a custard then quiche texture, perfect hint of sherry and overflowing with lobster. The black forest cake was a crowd favorite, and if you are a fan of rhubarb your will LOVE the gooseberry. Pat is just so sweet and you can taste her passion in everything. Save yourself time and money and order your desserts from Sugaree for your next gathering.
