Hermann Hill

We stayed this past weekend in the Virginia Seedling Suite. Everything was awesome. The virtual tour of the room was perfect to see what to expect. Check in was easy and the staff were helpful with getting us situated. Our only regret was not staying longer and only have a small amount of time to enjoy the room. We have plan to book again in the future and stay longer to enjoy more of the amenities that Hermann Hill has to offer.

We absolutely love Hermann Hill. This was our 2nd time visiting, and it was amazing both times. We felt like we had complete privacy the whole time, and our room with the balcony and hot tub was divine. The dual jet shower and jetted bath tub were also really nice. The little extras also make this place stand out. They bring warm cookies and ice cream to your door each evening, and the morning breakfast room service is delicious! The hot tub has a neat mounted fireplace next to it, and a huge wall-sized window that overlooks the vineyard and city. They have two dogs, a chocolate lab named Finn and a black lab named Gracie, who are just the sweetest, and are happy to greet you outside if you call them, but they are also so laid back that if you aren't a dog person and ignore them, they'd just lay and ignore you, too. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and we can't recommend this place enough. Perfect for a quiet, romantic getaway!

Love the cottages at Hermann Hill Inn. Beautiful views and amazing hosts. Delicious bagels and baked goods on our arrival, with a stocked frig of soda and juices. We love the huge deck with hot tub! Perfect for a romantic getaway.

Very nice place. Very clean. Great location. Awesome staff. Very good value also. I feel you get your money's worth. Breakfast was delicious. So relaxing. Definitely a repeat place.

Had a wonderful experience at Hermann Hill! Food service was so nice, it had a cozy feel to the whole place. The staff were so nice and polite and helpful too! The view was so beautiful as well, our hot tub was clean and wonderful. My only issue was that our food trays were too large for the little eating nook table but we figured it out! We had French toast and waffles one morning and the French toast was to die for! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet, romantic getaway.

Had been looking at booking a weekend here for a while and finally pulled the trigger. Staff was amazing and very accommodating. Right when we checked in we were scheduled for our massages that were great and right next to our suite the Vignoles.

When we finished our massage, snacks and wine were waiting which were perfect, followed up by some pizza and dessert.

The room was great with amenities, and the bed was very nice albeit a tad soft for our preference but to each their own.

The hot tub, spa bath, and steam shower were all amazing to have on the very cold and snowy weekend. It was also fantastic having breakfast and coffee delivered to the room in the morning.

Another great experience at Hermann Hills. Stayed in the hillside cottages overlooking the river. Love the food and snack amenities. Very relaxing and peaceful. Worth every penny. Will definitely be back.

We have been coming for six years now...it's the best place to stay! The attention to detail is amazing and the staff is geat! We can't wait for our next trip!

Very friendly staff! Beautiful views, nice place. We did the suggested 3 mile walk, and it was great! Great place for a couple’s getaway.

They need less huge pillow options. My wife & I both had headaches the next morning. We will need to bring our own next time.

30$ for chocolate covered strawberries & sparkling grape juice 💸. Also, the breakfast is extra $$ if you want a decent breakfast.

Room was 66 degrees 🥶 when we got there, in spite of having listed our preferred temperature on their questionnaire. Overall a great place, but a few misses

My husband and I stayed overnight at Hermann Hill for a birthday/pre-baby celebration and we could not have asked for a more amazing experience! Our suite was clean and comfortable with absolutely beautiful views. We felt so pampered with all the thoughtful touches: a welcome tray, in-room breakfast, the "babymoon" package that we did - we truly couldn't have asked for more. We will absolutely be back in the future and I'll also recommend Hermann Hill to anyone looking for a romantic overnight destination!

Highly recommend! They did our last minute elopement and it came together like we had planned it for months! Staff was amazing, good communication, helpful and just very pleasant! The room was top notch, comfy and super clean! Room service and breakfast was very good! The view is incredible! The real shout outs go to all the wonderful ladies that came together and made this my perfect day, Kristen with K. Brownlee Photography super talented and made us laugh the whole time and just wanted every shot to be perfect! Sarah Beauchamp my makeup artist, just wow! She knew exactly what I need to look natural and what brought out my better features, I put all faith and choices and her hands and she did nothing but flawless and was the sweetest! Teckla was my fabulous wedding coordinator through Hermann Hill’s and boy are they lucky to have her. Such a sweet, kind and genuine person. She was my right hand lady for every little want and need! She has amazing communication skills! The hero of the day goes out to Hannah at Joella’s Beauty Bar, worst call a bride can get is a hair dresser canceling hours before wedding… but Hannah made it happen dropped everything and came in and made the hair look amazing! The other great ladies we’re ready to run home and grab curling irons, bobby pins and lots of hair spray, that’s what made this team so amazing.. they were in it all they way to make the brides day the best day every! Thank you ladies for being so amazing and such a big part of our wonderful day! 10/10, 5 Star recommend this ladies to any bride out there, if not you will be sorry! Also our amazing officiant Greg who made it official and made our day!

Great weekend at Hermann Hill! Beautiful view overlooking the entire town. Service was outstanding and everyone was so considerate.

Our favorite town in Missouri. We celebrated our 41st Anniversary at Hermann Hills and thoroughly enjoyed our room with attached hot tub. The view from our balcony overlooked the vineyards and we watched the deer in the evening as they munched their way through the vines. Loved it all. Hope to be back again. The full rainbow after the storm encompassed the town our last evening.

The lovely room and beautiful views were just as pictured on the website. The room was clean and quiet, the staff was welcoming and professional, and the breakfast was delightful. Thank you Herman Hill Inn for helping us to have a memorable anniversary!

Our stay at Hermann Hill was last minute, but felt like they were expecting us the entire time. Cassidy was very welcoming, informative, and personable…along with the other staff. Everything that was included with our reservation exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were celebrating our 9 year wedding anniversary and we wouldn’t have imagined it any other way. The room was amazing, the amenities relaxing, the view impeccable, and the hospitality perfect! We can’t wait to come back! Our trip was way too short, but was exactly what we needed…peaceful!

Absolutely wonderful experience! We celebrated our 30th anniversary and wanted to mark the moment by vacationing somewhere completely different than our normal destinations. Hermann Hill Cottages did not disappoint!! Our cottage was immaculate and looked identical to the pictures that are posted on their website. They communicated very well prior to our arrival. Breakfast was delicious as well! The town of Hermann was amazing- friendly people, great shopping and lots of history!

I cannot recommend Herman Hill enough for your wedding ceremony and reception. They handled 90% of the planning and decorating and it made my life so much easier!! Donna was my coordinator and let me tell you, she is AMAZING. She was on top of everything, available literally night and day, and was an absolute joy to work with. Everyone in my family was raving about how sweet she was. Hermann Hill may not be the cheapest option, but if you aren't a DIY wedding type, then it is absolutely worth every penny!!

When we arrived we were greeted by Blaine and Cassidy (who were awesome btw) with a welcome tray. The views were beautiful, the wine delicious, and the massage was relaxing. Everything was amazing. 10/10 recommend.

I couldn’t have imagined my wedding being this perfect anywhere else. From the second you walk in, you’re swarmed with the love of wedding coordinators. They accommodated any need we requested. Even looking after my father-in-law at the bridal show while they were trying to market themselves. Letting us have our dog there to be our “Pup of Honor”. We had our best friend as our officiant. My friends’ band played at our wedding and I got to play music with them in front of the people I Iove the most as well as had our friend DJ (DJ TooTru). They gave us a free stay at one of their cottages on our wedding night as a gift (hot tub is awesome!). I had 12 groomsmen (plus 12 bridesmaids), it’s not easy to coordinate that many people. The owner came to our wedding which showed everyone at Hermann Hill genuinely cares about the wedding couples. You get to be married on a river bluff over the MO river giving a champagne toast to the love of your life with your favorite people. This place is an absolute dream. Our wedding coordinators Becki, Teckla, lela, and Roxanne made our wedding day better than I could’ve imagined possible. All staff at Hermann Hill are amazing. Chef Craig came out while doing sound check and we bonded over how be both olay music. We also had Shelly (The Best Bartender EVER) and she had huge impacts on making our wedding day perfect because you want the bar to be flowing! The cherry on top is their decor and delicious food (we loved t-ravs and pretzels with beer cheese). If you’re looking for a wedding venue, Hermann Hill is the best choice.

This place completely exceeded ALL our expectations! From the moment you check in and see they put your names out to welcome you (awwwww) to everything in the room, there was details everywhere of a person who wants everything to be cozy. They put things in the fridge for you, have aromatherapy set up for the FABULOUS tub in the room. Just everywhere you look you see the signature of someone who has thought of everything and it makes you feel so cared for, welcomed, and wonderful! The private hot tub was sooooooooo perfect! Thank you so much Hermann Hill! We came for a small, romantic get away that isn't far and my husband and I will definitely be back soon!!!!!
