James River Church - West Campus

From souls I trust, and what I've heard and seen personally, only heard and observed good things over the years. Who is good, only the Father is good. And I believe His Holy Spirit inhabits this place and many of the souls there. Come Holy Spirit, more, more, more for 2024, a great outpour! Amen.

If religious critics or even critics in general are any indication of affecting the Father's will here on earth, and they were for Christ Jesus, well then perhaps some amount of the critics and persecution is an indication that this place is blessed, Matt 5.

We have attended here for many years. Great welcoming place to worship and hear the Bible taught so we can grow together and become who we are meant to be.

I got saved while visiting the West Campus in 2011, and have attended ever since. Before attending James River, I never felt like I could feel comfortable in a church, but now I truly feel at home. The people here are amazing, and the love that the staff has for God and the church members encourages me every time I am around them. If you don’t have a church home, James River is a great place to be!

I love my church! The pastors all give challenging and loving messages that are straight from the Bible. A big church that feels small really quickly because of the loving community there. Check out the Living Free classes on Wednesday night for any kind of struggles that you can't seem to break free from. Jesus is the answer and there are many loving people here to help you as you seek him!

James River is always an amazing place. Wednesday and Sunday you can always expect an outstanding worship service and a very powerful word from the Lord. When you walk into James River you can automatically feel the presence of God moving and surrounding you in that place. You truly feel like you are home. Surrounded by friends and family who only want to see what all Good has in store for you. So try it out!! It will be a wonderful experience. Welcome Home.

You know I need to start off with saying that I was so worried and prayed so much to find another home Church. If it wasn't for a really good friend of mine Ruthie Vint I would have never thought to come back here. But I did. And I have to tell you best decision of my life. I came as a teenager left as an adult I will never leave again. Everybody is so kind when my son was sick they made it a point to get me a place that was quiet comfortable for my son even brought him a blanket. I love James River West campus you have got to come here or the bigger campus. The kids classes and programs are absolutely amazing my young is normally would not walk into a classroom without throwing a fit. But the staff is so amazing with him. Thank you James River 💙

I moved to MO a decade ago and started going to JRA. I love that it allows you to experience Church exactly how you want. You want it to feel like a small church? Join a life group! Have a church family. You like the big church atmostphere, where no one holds you accountable except for God your family? You got it. I started coming here as a teenager, making a lot of mistakes, and have always felt welcomed. I still go here, I have grown a lot personally from attending this church. My husband and kid now fo here as well. I went here for a long time and no one pressured me to want to become a member, I did it when I felt ready in my mid 20's. They have events going on all the time, and give me a reason to be around other people of God and feel a lot more stress free. I love this church, what they stand for, and how they teach the living word of God.

This church has really helped me grow in my faith and ability. Been attending for several years now and have learned a great deal about the Bible through the verse by verse teaching. They continue to demonstrate love to the community in many ways. Helping revamp schools, provide food for those in need, offer free counselling to those who need it, doing free events for the community, supporting missionaries and other churches, and creating an agency to help orphans to name a few ways they are making a difference.

Our family has been attending JRC for several years now and continue to be amazed at all that God is doing in and through the church! From the biblical teaching to the incredible worship atmosphere to the kids and youth programs, James River has truly been a source of encouragement!

We have three small boys and they love the kids programs, along with the weekday pre-school offered throughout the week. They continue to grow, mature and are always coming home with something new to talk about either from a lesson and/or fun experience they had during service.

James River really is a special community of people that authentically seeks to love all and serve all and we're glad that we get to be a part.

My family and I have loved this church for years! It's so great to have a church our kids are excited to get up early and get ready to go to! God's presence, a welcoming environment, and biblical teaching!

I definitely recommend this church to others! I have moved around the U.S. & have yet to find a church that could replace it. The knowledge of the preacher& how welcoming it is. They also are good about keeping ur attention during service so it's not just another monotone church service.

Welcoming, friendly, and great people who are in love with Jesus. From the moment I stepped in the door for the first time, I felt at home. They teach the Bible as it is, and have incredible worship, relevant teen programs and fun and safe kids programs!

Wonderful place to serve God and hear the Word of God preached. Don’t believe all the lies roaming around out there because they are NOT true. Been going to church there for 26 years.
