Great company with great people. I purchased a 2017 GMC Sierra and on the day I took it home began having transmission issues at only 70k miles. I lived 1 hour away and brought it back as soon as I could. After changing some software I took it home and the issue persisted. I returned again and turned in the vehicle to them and chose to look elsewhere. I say all this because they handled it perfectly. They had no way of knowing it would start having issues but offered to pay to fix it when they really didn't have to. Things happen and if they had another truck I wanted I would buy again. I hate the sale didn't work out but these are great guys that will do you good no matter what. Highly recommend, they have great vehicles for sale, I just got unlucky and they were great owners and handled it well.

Definitely no pressure sales. The process of purchasing the car was very easy. Mark was very helpful with all of our questions and very straightforward with us. We will always check with May Motor first when we are buying used.

Buying my new CR-V was super easy with this company. They did the financing work for me. The vehicle was exactly what I was looking for, at exactly the price I was looking for, and I left with it with in 2 hours. The CR-V is in amazing shape, passing inspection by my auto mechanic husband and I love it! The dealer Mark was extremely friendly and easy going. I would recommend them and will try to use them again in the future for further vehicle needs. 😊

May Motor Company was hands down, amazing to work with. Darrel, from the beginning, was just there for us. From test driving, to questions on the vehicle to financing and purchasing, the entire staff was welcoming and made us feel comfortable. We never felt pressure, not once from the minute we met Darrel. He listened to what we needed and even when we knew it was “the one”, he went above and beyond and made sure small things we wanted were replaced or there before we even bought it. *edited to add* we traded in the vehicle we purchased from May Motor pretty quickly (through no fault of the car or company, we needed something fast then were able to shop around and get a dream car) and so we called to request a GAP refund. It was taking a while, but we didn't have to call May because they were on it and taking care of things behind the scenes making sure the GAP company took care of us. I could not recommend this dealer any more. They are truly amazing in a world where used car dealers is a naughty word. Thank you for all your time and care!! Honestly one of the, if not the absolute, best car buying and after care experiences we've had!

We live in NWA, but my husband found the car he wanted at May Motor Company in Springfield, MO. We called to ask what their financing options are since they aren't a large dealership and Mark was able to answer all our questions related to financing, being out of state and the car with ease and professionalism. We submitted our application online and Mark called back shortly after that with financing terms. We told him it sounded good and headed up to the lot. When we got there the car was ready for us to test drive. Mark went through the entire car with us and showed us everything about it. Financing paperwork was filled out and ready to go. We spent longer driving up there than we did at the actual dealership! They weren't pushy, they were super honest and friendly. And the car was priced right, disappointed I didn't get to haggle! Bonus points bc the owner brought their dogs in and my daughter got to pet them! Highly recommend looking at them if you are in the market for a vehicle!!

I dread and hate car buying/shopping. Darrell and Patrick made this process so easy. It feels very genuine, laid back and friendly at this dealership. I didn't feel "handled" or "manipulated" in making this purchase. They considered my offer and made me a very fair deal with no crazy back and forth games. I would say I spent less than 3 hours total including test drives, financing...everything, over 2 days time making this purchase.....it was not a whole day or 2 exhausting process. They allowed me to walk away and think without trying to push me to decide right away. Quick, friendly and efficient. I didn't even hate it !! Highly, highly recommend. Super excited about my cute and affordable new ride.

Seriously, if you are looking for a place to buy a used car, look no further. We were looking to downsize our payment and get an older, but still decent, vehicle for our family of 4. We worked with Darrell, and have zero complaints. He was quick to answer any questions and to assist in our purchasing needs. During the paperwork, he made it easy to juggle our tiny children, and the team never made us feel like a burden when our 1 1/2 year old was screeching through the building! They were all so fast and efficient during the entire process! We discovered that our vehicle had some pretty worn ball bearings, after inspection(which it's a 10 year old vehicle, so it makes sense!) and they were so quick to get the vehicle back to have them replaced, no questions asked! That is customer service, folks! A wearable part that they could easy dismiss as "Not their problem" and instead they were fabulous at getting us replacements! We will return here for all future car purchasing! They have been such a breathe of fresh air!

We got a Dodge Dakota from May Motor in July of 2013. We mainly got it for my husband's job. However, after 6 months, the reason that we got the truck had changed and we no longer needed this large of a vehicle. Obviously, still owing quite a bit on the truck, we took our chances and went back to May Motor to see if they could do anything for us about trading it back in. Darrell (who has helped us with 2 other purchases) and Mike May got together and let us know that they could definitely help us out. Well, we saw a Smart Car Convertible that was 5 years old and had only 13,000 miles on it. We had never considered one before, but one test drive in it and we fell in love. Darrell and Mike were able to work their magic and not only were we able to trade in the truck and drive away with our new car but we were also able to lower our payments. It is almost 5 months later and we could not be happier! I am so thankful for Darrell, Mike and all the salesmen at May Motor Company. Their no pressure approach and bend over backwards customer service are the reasons we come back. May Motor is the first car lot I have ever been to that actually makes car buying a pleasure. If we ever need another car in the future, May Motor will be our first stop!

I have bought a lot of cars and trucks but this was without a doubt the easiest, no pressure and quickest transaction ever!!! We got a very fair deal on a great truck, and while we ran a couple of errands, our salesman Chris Matlock got us financing and started all the paperwork associated with buying a vehicle. When we returned, we signed and initialized the paperwork and we was on our way. Other dealers in the past have taken HOURS to get everything done. Chris answered all of our questions and was both honest and professional. I will gladly recommend them to my family and friends and when I start looking for another vehicle I will start (and most likely end) my search here.

The sales experience is the best I've ever had in my 66 years. They weren't pushy and promised they would stand by me to ensure I was satisfied. Being retired I appreciate the extra efforts made by them. They went the extra mile when there was an issue with a check engine light. Bought my Kia Sorento in April. Not only do I absolutely love my car but they were so great to work with. I've never had an easier or nicer car buying experience. Will definitely be back to buy my next car if I ever need one. Definitely recommend them. They are not like the big car dealers, thankfully.

Mark and the crew at May went above and beyond to get me into a great new vehicle after mine finally kicked the bucket. I'm not a "car guy" but I left the lot feeling excited and confident about the car I decided on. With educated and experienced staff but without the pushy sales strategy, you can't go wrong with this lot.

It’s only taken me 5 years to write this review but honestly - this has to be the best place to purchase a used car!! I live in Chicago now but wish I could come back here to purchase my next car. They sold me a wonderful Ford Escape that I still drive daily and have been so pleased with!! When purchasing the car I had a great experience (unfortunately I can’t remember who it was with!) but I have so many great things to say about May and still proudly have my sticker on the car! I’ve purchased a couple other cars for family members after moving out of Springfield and have had awful experiences. Nothing compares to May Motor Company!!

My wife and I really enjoyed dealing with May Motor Company in Springfield, Mo. Darrell is a nice guy and did us right on our purchase of a Mercury Mariner. Just got it, but really liking it, already. It was what we were looking for in a clean, dependable Mariner. They gave us a very fair deal and we would not hesitate to check with them again on a future purchase. Their inventory of vehicles looks impressive.

My car broke down and I needed a new one in less than a week. I had never bought a car before and I had good but little credit and no co-signer. May Motor (specifically Mark) helped me find literally my DREAM car and made the process so painless and easy. They were so honest with me too. I was so stressed but they made everything flow smoothly and explained everything to me (someone who knows very little about cars). Even after I purchased the car and noticed something sounded off Mark took my car and got it fixed immediately. I've heard people talk about their nightmare experiences with other dealerships and I can say this dealership is so fantastic and genuine I cannot recommend May Motor enough.
