Summit Park Church

Man, what a family. My wife and I moved to Kansas City about a year ago and the way we were welcome in feels like we’ve known this community for ages. The pastors and staff at SPC are amazing and work hard to bring the Gospel to Lees Summit and the surrounding areas. They preach the truth of who Jesus is and who we’re called to be.

If you’re a young family looking for a new church home, I highly recommend this church. They have a fantastic kids ministry and small groups for every walk of life. Get plugged in. You won’t regret it.

Love the vibe, luv to see lots of young people, but also all age groups. Great worship, but would luv to see more variety in age groups leading the worship. Will definitely return.

I love our church so much. I felt very welcomed and at home. Once we started going we didn't stop! We have met so many friends!

Amazing children's ministry, excellent praise and worship, and sound preaching--all in a beautiful, new facility. This is a diverse congregation who love Jesus. *This is a big church, so it's vital to get involved in small groups in order to feel connected and get to know others.

We've been coming to Summit for about 2 years now and absolutely love it. The message from Pastor Scott is always great plus the music is simply outstanding. We have met so many great people and even got our friends in Arizona streaming the services each week. Huge blessing that our friends invited us to check out Summit Park.

The music is just amazing! The sermon keeps you awake instead of putting you to sleep. My daughter loves the kids church! The people are super nice and not pushy. I actually went there for 6 months before anybody knew it. I kinda liked that. It gave me a chance to decide if I wanted to make this my church home without pressure.

Visited for the first time this evening. I noticed immediately upon walking through the doors, the warm glow of several smiles + happy faces welcoming me. The check-in process for my daughter in the play area was effortless + everyone was genuinely excited to welcome my little one. I warmed up to a nice, hot cup of coffee and baked goods were set out if you needed a little snack. I had a wonderful conversation with a few greeters who made me feel so comfortable + appreciated. I've never been so immersed + in awe through a service before. I could feel love + joy + light radiate from every speaker. The worship team filled the room with an immense amount of happiness + a few songs even brought forth emotion they were so powerful. Pastor Scott delivered a phenomenal, uplifting sermon - it seemed everyone's eyes were glued to the stage. God is working some great miracles + moving the Holy Spirit in such a profound way at Summit Park North. I hope to check out the South campus, too. Thank you for so lovingly inviting me into this church family! It was truly a memorable + inspiring experience. I can't wait for next week, and thereafter. 🙏

I've been a part of this church from the beginning and have loved it! My wife and I have a four year old and infant. The kids program is wonderful and we really appreciate the investment the leaders make in our kids. The church is also super friendly. I always feel welcomed by the people, and we've been able to make some good friends here. I definitely recommend you check it out if you're looking for a church to attend.

Beautiful church! We feel welcome and very loved here. There are kids classes for all ages, plenty of space and the hospitality here is awesome!

I've been attending regularly for about a year now, and I absolutely love this church! The sermons are engaging and relevant to everyday life, the kids program is amazing, and there are so many areas that you can get involved in from service to life groups. What really draws me though is the sense of Family that I get. Someone is always there to greet me with a smile and a hug! (or a handshake!)

You are guaranteed to be encouraged and uplifted when attending. You will be welcomed with a smile and the staff is very friendly and real. The kids church is awesome!!! You'll never be disappointed that you went! Fresh church with a Jesus based teaching! Very refreshing for everybody no matter where you are in your relationship to Christ!

Love this church, you can feel the love from the parking lot all in the church. So welcoming. The pastor breaks his sermon down in real time to understand the message.

I've felt welcomed and at home at Summit Park since day one. I've had some difficult church experiences but truly believe SPC has shown me what a church should be. From the amazing worship team to the very relevant and informative messages from Pastor Scott, I knew I'd found my home. Not to mention, my kids LOVE the kids ministry. Come check them out, you will not leave disappointed.

I really enjoy making this my families home church. I find it Welcoming and friendly, casual and accepting. They fellowship is so uplifting and the messages from the sermons come across as clear and understandable. I find myself not always understanding some of the passages from the bible. And I think Pastor Scott lays it out in an way that helps me hear Gods message. It's a great place and my family enjoys it.

Tried out several churches in the area when I first moved to Missouri, but I kept coming back to Summit Park! I was first attracted by the fact that there was a wide range of ages and ethnicities represented, but I stayed for the incredible worship, the authenticity and honesty of the leadership, the AWESOME teaching, and the community that came from volunteering and making friends in my small group. I've been there for two years now, but these people felt like "family" after just a couple of weekends. If you are looking for a place where you'll feel like you belong on Day One--this is it!!

Summit Park Church is AMAZING. Super friendly and relaxing atmosphere. My 4 year old goes to the kids center and loves it. Every week she comes away with a great message. The church service is so impressive from the Worship Team (amazing singers and band) to the messages from Pastor Scott (so relatable and interesting). I can't imagine ever going anywhere else. I am so happy that we found SPC!

I love this church! Super friendly and casual atmpmosphere and perfect for everyone in any walk of life. My children absolutely love going to their class and learn something new and exciting every week. The pastors are super laid back and fun, I promise you'll laugh out loud at least 5 times every sermon. The teachings are biblically sound and easy to apply to life. Everything is done in excellence, from the huge community events they host to the coffee bar they put out every Sunday. The worship is amazing, it's like being at a concert (lights, amazing sound and even fog), but without "performers" because each member of the teams goal is to lelp lead the congregation into relationship with Jesus. The people are so friendly and I feel welcomed from the second I walk in until I leave the parking lot... Because there's literally a guy waving you off in the parking lot :) If you're looking for a place to call home for you and your family, I encourage you to give SPC a chance.

The Church has been so amazing for my wife and I! We have attended for almost a year and a half and we have absolutely loved it. The people are so kind and welcoming. We have really enjoyed our life group through the church as well and have made great friends.
