I recently took my nine year old daughter to Mermaid Hair Salon to get her hair colored and was VERY impressed! Not only was the salon gorgeous and inviting, Cortney was so knowledgeable and an absolute blast to be around. Her energy made me feel at ease dying my daughters hair purple! Everything was explained thoroughly to me and was executed exactly the way she promised. I HIGHLY recommend Cortney and Mermaid Hair Salon for all your kids fashion color dreams! Cortney also customed colored and styled my hair extensions for my wedding! I felt so gorgeous on my big day with my beautiful hair because of her! Mermaid Hair Salon has found a forever client!

My experience at Mermaid Hair Salon was nothing but wonderful! Jamie at the front showed nothing but hospitality once I stepped foot in the doors with offering me coffee, water, snacks, anything to make me feel comfortable. Cortney, the incredible owner, is so much fun and knows what she is doing. My hair has always been stubborn when lightening but she got it to lift very quickly with the tools that she has. She's magical at colors and cuts. I recommend all my friends and family to go to Mermaid Hair Salon because of the wonderful results that come out of those doors. Not to mention that the salon is beautiful on the inside.

I recently relocated and was sad and nervous to find someone new to work on my hair here in Oregon, but I happened by Mermaid Hair on a whim and popped in to check it out with my 16 year-old daughter. Jamie greeted us from behind the front desk and was so helpful and friendly that we decided to make an appointment for this week for both of us on the spot.

When we arrived this morning, Jamie and Cortney greeted us so warmly and we immediately felt welcomed and cared for. My daughter received a dry hair trim and Cortney was so amazing with her. She was talking to her and laughing with her the whole time, while collaborating with my daughter on what would be best for her. My daughter is thrilled with her results; it turned out exactly how she wanted it.

My experience with Cortney was equally amazing. Due to what I needed to have done, my appointment was more comprehensive, but the time flew by and I honestly felt as though I were hanging out with a few girlfriends that I had known for years. Best of all, my hair looks amazing, from color to cut!! Exactly what I was hoping for, and Cortney talked me through the entire process and helped me understand the products as she used them. Her passion and energy for her craft are palpable through her first class care, attention, and results. We are so glad that we bumped into her cute little salon when we did -- we couldn't have asked for a better experience, beginning to end. Definitely found our new hair home and made a few friends in the process. Thank you, ladies!

Cortney is absolutely amazing!!! I love how fun and outgoing she is while still getting her work done!! Even Cortneys assistant Jamie is awesome!! These two together make a great team and I’ve never been to a better salon! Cortney is great with ALL colors! She also has the most amazing and fun hair! This place is great!!

Mermaid Hair Salon has a customer for life! I am VERY particular about my hair as well as my daughter's hair and I don't trust anybody else but Cortney and Shaela to touch our hair! Those ladies are top notch and when you go for an appointment, it doesn't feel like one...it feels like a fun day hanging out with your girlfriends!! They are very honest & knowledgeable about their work. They work with you in all aspects of the experience and if you're NOT satisfied, they make sure to make things right. Which in my experience isn't always the case because some stylists take things too personal & won't go that extra mile but that's NOT the case for the ladies at Mermaid Hair Salon. Their goal is to make you feel AMAZING and every single time I go as well as my daughter, we feel fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend Mermaid Hair Salon!!!

I brought my eight-year-old niece here to have color but in her hair for the first time. The staff is super friendly and made it a fun experience. The owner, Courtney, is very accommodating and our stylist, Cassie, was super good with my niece 😀 Not to mention the salon is adorable with the mermaid theme. This could be our new favorite place and we will definitely be back!

The ladies at Mermaid Hair Salon are so amazing and kind. They are so friendly and informational regarding the hair process and after care. My daughter got her hair done as an early birthday present. They treated her like a princess. The salon experience was the best of any salon I've been to and I didnt even get my hair done this time. The inside of the salon is gorgeous and so welcoming. Cortney is AWESOME! She is the best hair stylist I've ever been to in my life! I've never been in such a happy and outgoing work environment before! I've been dying my hair blonde for many years now and no one could get it right until I went to Cortney. Very very happy and blessed with her.

My daughter had her hair done last week with Cortney and it came out flawless! Coloring was perfect and I couldn't have been more impressed! A bunch of parents at my kids school have already asked where she had it done at. Very friendly and positive environment and Jamie up front was awesome as well. Highly highly recommend!!

The team creates an inviting, upbeat, positive, and inclusive vibe throughout. Equally as important, I can TRUST them with my hair. Previously, I had never dreamed I could achieve those bright vivid colors on my long dark hair. Cortney knows how to lift and color hair the RIGHT WAY, by always working through a lens of preserving the integrity of my hair. She trims it in a way to keep it buttery soft without excessive loss of length. Shaela and Cassidy are also truly a joy to work with. They do great work. It’s obvious that everyone has a team-based attitude and love their jobs. The synergy is real. I sincerely love getting my hair done there!
I recently got my lashes done at the salon for the first time by Jessica (of Lash Lagoon). All I can say is wow. She is very talented and sweet. The results simply speak for themselves.

I have alopecia and was unsure if extensions would work for me. Shaela was so patient, explained everything, and they turned out great! I’ve also had my hair colored and it turned out beautiful. Highly recommend!!

It was a great experience they do an amazing job I am a customer for life now!My hair looks amazing I get compliments everywhere I go and it’s such a fun place to be almost like a mini vacation. I wanted to get my hair colored multiple colors so i saw the sign for the mermaid hair salon and talked to cortney the owner and she gave me a great price and went and got me all the colors i wanted.i didn't want to bleach my hair so she just lightened it and put the color on so it was more oil slick looking.Ever since i have gotten my hair done i have had multiple compliments on my hair and it still looks good even after it has faded.I also have asked her what to use to keep my hair from fading and she introduced me to a new product called keep me vivid for multiple colors and it has kept my color in and made it super soft with a great scent.Im happy that i found a salon thats close to my house and has someone who is familiar with fun colors.
