I love sharing, when I get “above average” customer service. Needing a healthy lunch choice, I thought I would check out the Safeway deli. Wow, is the perfect word to describe Ray. Even though he was busy helping another customer, Ray immediately acknowledged and greeted me. Telling me he would “be right with me,” he graciously continued helping what appeared to be a regular (because he called her by name). Once it was my turn, with his kind and friendly demeanor served me a delicious chicken and steamed rice platter, 👇 whats left of it!
This maybe how he is all the time, however for those few minutes, he made me feel like I was the most important customer on the planet. “Hats off to you Ray” (using that expression because he was wearing the cutest Xmas hat), for being so kind and helpful on this dreary rainy Oregon day. To the management, thanks for hiring and maintaining such a stellar employee like Ray! Wow what great lunch break.🤗🙏😎🤓🫶‼

This is not my usual store.I stopped in to get my son a balloon for his birthday. The floral department is completely outstanding. Since I was in the store before floral hours one of the cashiers helped me get balloons from my son. She was super friendly and knowledgeable and worked quickly too. If you have a floral need this store has got you covered. And if you're just coming in for a balloon like I did the selection is amazing.

I stopped going to the “King City”Safeway about 6 months ago because of the horrible customer service. The store is filthy, always out of items, the staff/employees are rude and should not be allowed to have direct human contact due to poor customer contact/communication skills. I started coming to this Safeway (Lake Oswego-Boones Ferry Road) location soon afterwards and I am so glad I did! The management at this location treats their employees well, which in turn, shows in the overall customer experience. The employees at this location are kind, helpful and go out of their way to help the customer. I wish they would close the King City location and give everyone here a pay raise! This location is the only location that has the wide variety and great selection of C4 energy drinks. C4 is a zero sugar, zero carb energy drink, on sale now 2 for $4! I drive an extra 3 miles to come here! To the manager and staff, Keep up the good job, we notice you and we care! 💕

This is my favorite Safeway in the area. It's much less crowded and better stocked than the Tigard/King City location on Hwy 99. Everyone at the Meat and Seafood counter provides excellent customer service, but Joe especially stands out! He is so friendly and great to have a quick chat with! Patrick (or Pat?) the manager is also great! I've had a few issues with digital coupons not going though and he always fixes that without issue. The digital coupons make all the difference when shopping here - often there's $5 off $25 or $10 off $50. Plus with rewards, you can really stack up with a decent amount off of your total.

I dont LOVE the newer Safeway app. Some of the digital coupons don't scan in store and some clipped items don't make it on my app then I have to get an adjustment at the guest service desk

No shopping here unless you have coupons and are able to scan the digital ones. This can be tricky so ask for help if it doesn't work at the checkout. I just go here for the pharmacy, and the staff are phenomenal. Shout out to Terry, Paul and Pawn, they have always been terrific to work with.🥰😁

I like this store. Why? It is convenient because it's located near to my job. There is no alternative option around, but in fact, I can find anything I need in there.

Patrick was super kind and helped me with my WIC when I forgot my card. I was super embarrassed and he took care of me. Nothing but kindness to a total stranger. I appreciate him and his amazing customer service.

I'm very grateful that this Safeway is open pretty late, for that made it possible for my friend and me to enjoy a nice hand-selected, store-bought dinner after a late night workout across the street (at 24HR Fitness). Besides being open fairly late, the food selection, prices, and deals are all good. So we enjoyed a nice dinner at a time when generally only bars are open. If it were not for this need to eat dinner so late at night with my friend who is from out of town, I would not even have known about this market being here. Now that I know that it's here, it will be very handy for me to stop here whenever I am across the street working out. As it should be expected, the store is clean and bright and has a very ample selection of grocery goods.

Was in a time crunch on my break from work. Needed to pick flowers and balloons. The floral arrangements were beautiful and varied. Maribeth jumped in to help me with everything. She created a great, colorful balloon bouquet for me within minutes. She even offered to help me take everything out to the car. The price for the balloons was astonishing! Less than $20! I was so impressed with the selection and the prices, but mostly for the service I received at this Safeway! Thank you, Maribeth!

Picked up the Live Mussels tonight for dinner, feeling a little Napoli. They were delicious!😊🥂

I've been going to the pharmacy for years and they are phenomenal. I've already reviewed this place but be sure if you have coupons or digital coupons and you try to use your smartphone that you ask somebody that knows how to do that otherwise you won't get the deal at the checkout

I've had great customer service every single time I've been here. Good selection, lots of parking, right off the freeway.

The best safety I been to compared to all the ones I ever been to in CA. I travel a lot. Clean, professional, not crowded, and parking .

The pharmacist is great as are his assistants...my go to Safeway (I go to 3 in area...) My favorite brand in shopping, rewards, and deals with just for you....just add on the app, scan in store...and weekly ads in the mail.

The cashier lines were getting 3 customers thick so they quickly added 2 more people to do cashiering. The girl cooking ribs outside was so helpful. I bought 2 half racks. The meat dept worker was helpful in finding the ribs that were on sale. I loved it. Fast service

I live in a completely different city than this store, but work on this side of town which is why i initially shopped here... that said, i will continue to shop at this particular location because of how wonderful the employees are and how they always go above and beyond- not just for me but all patrons!!! i can always count on Dee to make me smile whenever she checks, and love waving to the ladies in the deli (who always say goodbye, Emily Anne!!!) as i walk out... Great Employees= Happy Customers!!!

Super clean store. The flower selection was on point! Amazing looking flowers and a pretty big variety. Store was not busy when I went on a Sunday late afternoon. They also had a lot of product options I haven't found anywhere else. By far my favorite Safeway.

Currently standing in the back in the meat department and the kind gentlemen working tonight was happily helping me even when he was already somewhat closing down. I’ve been turned away at some meat departments because they closed down but Mark was eager to help me. Such a nice guy..interactions like that is what keeps me coming back here to my local Safeway for over 15 years. Thanks guys !

It's a very clean store, which encourages me to shop there more than my local Safeway. Everything looks fresh including the meats. The people are very friendly and the entrance food displays are inviting. I always have great shopping experiences at this location.
