Calvert's Express Auto Service & Tire Arnold

I really like this place! I believe I will be making them my mechanics. I went there for an oil change, they were recommended to me by my sister and indeed were much much cheaper than Valvoline. I feel they were very ery knowledgeable, very personable, very professional, and they were very honest about an issue that I had with my Jeep and even showed me exactly what it was. They didn't try to nickel and dime me like a lot of other places would do. I'm very impressed with this business and I will be returning from now on to this specific business for my auto repair needs!

Calvert’s in Arnold is the only auto repair shop my husband and I take our three vehicles to.

We have been servicing our vehicles at this location for about 6 years now, and we are always very satisfied. Great customer service!

They are friendly, professional, reasonably priced, and very efficient.

Melissa the receptionist is so friendly and welcoming when you enter. Doug the guy in charge is amazing! He’s very quick at diagnosing the issue of the vehicle and getting it repaired quickly. There are several other guys that work by his side and they are all wonderful and hardworking. This group is trustworthy, & never trying to sell you parts and labor that you don’t need. For these reasons we will always continue to service our vehicles here. Highly recommended!

I got an oil change here and it was very easy. They did not try to pressure me into a higher price oil or add any extras on to my bill. They were very upfront on the cost. Extremely nice people. The lady behind the counter was pleasant and after my oil change was done the mechanic came in and thank my for coming in.

Yesterday I went to Calvert's for the first time! I went in for my safety and immisions tests and they noticed my tire was put on backwards from the last time I bought tires! 🙃 What amazing attention to detail!! I highly recommend this place! 2nd time using them. Haven't had a problem with them yet. Second time I used them they gave me the option for the long lasting proper fix but it was out of budget but they offered a cheaper bandaid solution to help reduce cost. Very helpful.

The employees are really nice. We brought my husband's car in because he thought he needed new breaks. They were honest and told him he did not. I had a leak in my AC, it was fixed in less than an hour that day. We will definitely be coming back.

This place is a gem! We’ve tried to look for auto repair place around the area to look into an oil leak of my car but only this place would see us, and mind you it’s a day before Thanksgiving! We dropped off car in the morning and by noon it was ready. And they identified the issue and took care of everything for us. We will use them again in the future for sure! You got our business now. UPDATE: corp office sent another request for a customer service rating (I've been back for additional service). Melissa & Gary were both great & I'll be back. Just 1 thing, the way the corp enail addresses the customer is pretty lousy and definitely not professional.

Both the lady at the service desk and the service manager were great. She was friendly and pleasant. He was friendly, knowledgeable and wasn't pushy. I'll go back.

I brought my truck in with a leaky tire. Billy found the problem after just a few minutes. Turned out it was a bad valve stem. Billy recommend getting a new one, and informed me that he would have to order it and that it would be a little bit of a wait. Waiting was not a problem and, Well 45 minutes later I was heading out the door. Billy was awesome! He told me that if that tire started losing air in the next few days he would fix it for free. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Went here after another auto repair place didn't fix my original issue. Finally, have air conditioning again! Melissa at the front desk has great customer service skills. She was personable, relatable, and provided all the information I needed. Thanks Melissa!

Very friendly receptionist! She definitely made the wait worth it. And the Mechanics did a very good job of what I can tell so far! We had an issue with another location and the District manager Dan took ownership and really did a fantastic job when it came to helping us! Thank you and we will definitely come back to this location even though it’s a 35 min drive.

These folks got me out of a big mechanical jam last summer, and they did it fast and at a fair price. Worked with me to solve my problem in a way that puts other places to shame these days. It's a PLEASURE doing business with privately-owned companies that get the job done and treat the customer respectfully. I'd recommend Calvert's to ANYONE!

The last time I went there I paid more for the lifetime warranty brakes and took my vehicle back 3 different times because they were grinding bad but they told me brakes were fine. This time I took car for brakes again in a little over a year and it cost me like $375 and brakes are still grinding. I just don't understand. I will say this the staff there has always been great to me..

Since posting this, I have read through many of the reviews. Both good and bad. I feel that the bad reviews seem to be from people that felt they paid to much or didn’t receive the service they expected. All I can say is, the job I had done there was quoted $250. Higher five minutes earlier within a mile at another shop. Calverts knew nothing about this till right now. I feel they were professional and courteous. And don’t blame them for trying to make as much money as they can... every one of us would do the same. They have bills to pay just like the rest of us.

Friendly employees, fair price. The mechanical tech continued to keep me updated on the progress of my car. I am glad I chose to use Calvert's for the 1st time.

Pulled in for a rush brake job, I explained upon arrival that time was of the essence. Unfortunately the local suppliers did not have the brakes and rotors in stock for my 2018, and would not be available until morning. Knowing my situation they went above and beyond to get my parts couriered in to ensure I was road ready to continue with my scheduled plans for the following day. They were also able to pull it off in pretty d@mn good time. A little steep on price, but you get what you pay for, eh? 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I called the shop to have my tire looked at because it had a slow leak; I was airing it up every other day. The tech checked my tire and found the steel belt had worn through the rubber. He said the tires should be rotated every 6000 miles, and if not, it causes this kind of wear. He said it was dangerous “a blow out waiting to happen”. Gary ordered two new tires for me and I was back on the road in a safe vehicle the same afternoon. I appreciate their friendliness, knowledge and efficiency.

Calvert's express is amazing, they've helped me with everything very caring and helpful people. Anytime you need an appointment they'll get you right in. All the work is great and they get stuff done fast, don't have to wait long at all. First time I came here I was going to get an inspection done. When I got there my tire was smoking, I got out and looked at it and the rotor was glowing orange (I didn't know anything was wrong with it at all). I went inside and told them what was wrong. They pulled it in the shop took a look at it for me showed me what was wrong with it and fixed it right up for me, after that they showed me what was all wrong with it and what I needed to fix to pass inspection. Like I said they are very helpful and sweet this is the only place I come too now. I for sure give this place a 5 star!
